Been wearing the classic slip ons for years so I decided to upgrade with these. They are the most annoying shoe I've worn. The back of the shoe opening is uncomfortably rigid and has been rubbing a blister into my Achilles tendon. Gotta wear bandaids anytime I want to wear this shoe. Also, for whatever reason, my stance no show socks are constantly being pulled under my heel with this shoe. Never happens with the original slip ons.

I've been wearing nothing but the same Sk8-Hi and slip-ons for the last 20 years or so, buying the same shoes once a pair wears out. They used to be great. Nowkinda hit or miss.
I got these slip ons thinking they would be more comfortable than standard ones. Wore them one time for about an hour and had to kick em off before they destroyed the skin on the back of my heels. I was wearing socks.
I'll probably try manually breaking in the heel before I wear them again, not the first time I've been through this with Vans, but it's nice when they just work out of the box.
As far as style, that's why I keep buying em. They look great and fit the bill for what I'm after. But it seems they've been value engineered to death and consistency/quality can vary even within the same model of shoe.

I bought a pair of the black suede slip-on. The quality of the shoe is really nice, but the fit is awful. They are absurdly tight, especially in the toebox. I've tried wearing them on and off for months. Take them out on MTB rides, long walks with the dog, etc, but they are tight as day one. Bit of a bummer

Really bummed about these. I've been wearing slip-ons my whole life. In recent years I had switched to the comfy cush inner sole, which I absolutely loved for all-day comfort. When I learned comfy cush was discontinued, I did some research and found that people recommended the popcush sole as an alternative. I ordered a pair in my typical size 6 and was shocked at how tight they were. I could barely put my foot in them. The canvas upper was so tight, the fit didn't account for the thickness of the popcush sole whatsoever. I ended up ordering a second pair in a 6.5 to see if it was roomier, but had the exact same issue. It's such a shame. Really bummed these didn't work out and not sure how I'll wear slip-ons anymore.

I've had slip-ons for years and wanted to try something new, so I got these. I like that they're made for skating so they have different fabric and more cushion. However, these shoes are squeezing the life out of my feet. I didn't know they would be so tight. I would say I have wider feet than average, so if you don't have slender feet, please be ware. I'm wearing the same size I've always had and I'm not sure if going up a half size or full size would help. Pretty bummed since I really like these shoes, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to wear them long term. I'm doing my best to "break them in," but it hurts a bit too much to wear for long periods of time.

Not able to wear these slip on's sadly.. I got them a little over a month ago, and have not been able to break them in. Wore them out once and my achilles hurt so bad I could hardly walk without a limp. I've had several other pairs of the 'regular' slip on vans.. no issue. Even different style vans of the same size. Super sad about this buy, was really looking forward to wearing. Either I get a shoe stretcher or they will probably sadly just sit.

I have a pair of the regular old skools and I have no problem at all. These newer ones even after broken in are the most uncomfortable shoe ever

I've been wearing regular vans slip ons for years. They're my go to every day shoe. But I've been having some heel pain and wanted a little more support so I tried these. I love the pop cush insole, but the way the heel is reinforced is awful. They regular slip ons feel comfortable straight out of the box and have never bothered my heels, these ripped up my heels just trying them on! When you feel it with your finger it's obvious there's a harder heel and it's awful. Please make these with the normal slip on heel/ankle.

Great materials, but the heel section sits too low, making the heel portion rub against your achilles causing blisters. Uncertain if this will break in

I do walk a lot and exclusively wear Vans for the comfort. I usually get 6 months or more out of a pair before I start getting holes penetrating the soles under my heels. HOWEVER, I've only had this pair 2 months and have severe holes through both heels. I love the look of the neon sole, but they are rubbish.

Been buying these for years and never had a problem. Replaced my worn out pair last week and the new pair is giving me bleeding blisters on my heels. Why? There is a thin red stripe of canvas fabric stitched in an arch on the inside of the heel cup. It is raised off the inside of the shoe and rubs against the heel at every step. I may ditch these and look for something else because I'm concerned the raised strip may never 'wear in.' See photo. You've been warned.

Somehow the padded band around the ankle is super abrasive on the back of my foot. I'm developing wounds from wearing these one day, just walking around an office. I've never had this problem with a skate shoe.

The last 2 pairs of slip ons I have bought (both for myself and my step-daughter) have been WAY too small and fit oddly and very uncomfortably. Now my daughter has been the benefit of both times due to her wearing a smaller size than us, but totally ridiculous because I have worn the same size Vans for over 20 years. I am afraid to order another pair, even a half size bigger and they're like the only shoes I've worn forever, so now idk what to do

The heel/ankle part of the shoe is not comfy. Vans should've kept the same lining material as used in the previous Slip-on's and what is used in the current Skate Sk8-hi's, which is a lot more comfortable. One thing I do like is that compared to the previous skate model, the elastic is white just like the Classics.

I've had this pair of Vans since September of last year, and they were starting to break in very well, and get very comfortable as Vans do. I mostly just walk city streets and go to stores wearing these.
However, on my walk today, I looked at my soles, and the right outsole is ripping away from the foxing. I'm honestly very disappointed, because once you get a rip like that, it's soon that the pair is ruined.

I have wider feet, ordered wide width. Shoes are nice in appearance however I couldn't even get my foot to go in the shoe. The height was narrow

Great materials but can't wear any of them because they have the same fit as regulars but the huge insole crushes foot against top of shoe.

I wear old skools and the slips on daily, Not sure what the difference is but these rub the back of my heels no matter what socks I wear.

wore this shoe once and the back heel hurts so bad. By the end of the day, my heel had a calluss. First time owning and wearing vans shoe, probably won't buy another unless someone responds and tells me a comfty shoe that vans makes.

I am a huge Vans Head. I wear the brand everyday. But these these are trash. The shoe is so stiff and has murdered my poor heels. Walking less than a mile in them the plastic heel and leather inside is a bad combo especially for a shoe that is unable to adjust. Big miss for me.

The shoe looks fine. But after a few Ollie's it wears and holes start to form. Not worth the price. Get DC shoes if you want durability.

I have worn 10.5 Vans slip ins for a decade. Literally dozens of pairs. These feel like 9s. So tight they are unwearable
