Great hat. Provides good shade and is extremely comfortable.

I really like this hat. Feels very protective from the sun. Its light weight and I felt the price for it was fair. The local L.L. Bean did not have them in stock so I ordered it from the Maine store if memory serves me correct. Hat appears to be well made. My intention was to use it for the golf course. I don't feel people get enough protection from the sun sometimes as this was a move to enhance protection.

Great for keeping the sun of your face- wider brim than most hats. Folds up for storage. Fits much better than most hats on my apparently large head.

This hat fits well and travels well. I can wear it with the chin strap or tuck that into the hat when I don't need it. I have not yet worn it in the rain. I know it's not water proof (the one feature it doesn't have) - I hope the water resistance is good enough for summer squalls. I wear it in my urban neighborhood as well as the lake. I like the wide brim for sun protection.

I looked for a really good gardening sunhat for MONTHS before I found this hat in a garden center.... in the wrong size! Follow through is not my strong point, but I took a picture of the tag and went home to buy it online because I was so happy to finally find a decent hat. Pros: - The adjustable band on the hat allows you to very easily customize to fit your head. If it comes loose, you can tug the strap while wearing it and tighten it right back up. - The split brim (stiff in front, floppy in back) means that the brim is never blocking your view or flopping the wrong way, but the floppy back ensures that when you bend down your neck is not exposed to the sun. - The adjustable string is comfortable on your neck and in front of your ears and does not dig in when it's windy. - I haven't used the sunglasses slits yet, but I definitely will because I have lost many a pair when whipping off my hat and forgetting they're on my head in a kayak. - The material is breathable and keeps your head cool compared to a regular baseball cap. Somewhat slippery, so it doesn't smash up your hair too bad. Cons: none so far! It would be nice if it had strips of that "cooling towel" material on the head that you could wet to help keep cool when it's REALLY warm out. I plan to buy additional Sunday Afternoon hats when I have the need!

Love this hat! Wanted to match my two children and their Sunday afternoon hats. We look great, feel great, and are Sun protected! The sunglasses lock is the feature I never knew I needed and now love to have.

I've never liked wearing hats till buying this style for sun protection! So lightweight and ventilated I'm not aware it's there. Stays put in strong breeze without any fuss while I'm doing yard work. Folding flat for packing/storage an added plus. Love this hat!

I need light weight, breathable, maximum coverage as I am out on my tractor working on our property. This Ultra Adventure Hat has been perfect for my needs!! Very pleased with this product and would high recommend as well as reorder additional hats!!

Perfect hat for my dog walking, hiking, beach. Comfortable, and functions well at keeping the sun off my face and neck, but still having good visibility. A bit pricey, but I don't regret buying it.

I love this hat! It is so comfortable and fits well. Love the color. I have gotten many complements while wearing it. The S/M is the perfect size. There is enough room in the hat for a high ponytail or small bun. The fit can be adjusted to be snug, but not too tight. The adjustable chin strap is easy to use, for when it is windy. The holes to hold eyeglasses work well, but only with non-grip templers (which are impossible to slide in while wearing the hat). I have worn this hat while hiking, strolling and kayaking. I also wear it while photographing scenery and wildlife. It protects me from the sun and is just perfect!

Hat size of S/M is a tad big for a 21" circumference head but was able to snug it up with the strap in back. Rim is perfect for sun coverage and the back flap is a perfect length - did not feel like I was wearing a canopy or tent. I've used this kayaking, hiking and gardening and hardly knew it was on. Also very well made. At this price point I will be ordering another.

I wasn't sure about a hat with a cape, but I'm a huge fan. It really protects my ears and neck from the sun. And folds up really easily. Great purchase.

Lightweight, comfortable, won't blow away. I recently had my first skin cancer removed, so I'm finally getting serious about sun protection. This hat is very lightweight but gives good coverage. It's very comfortable and adjusts to keep it on your head in the stiffest breeze. The sunglass keeper feature also works well. Hubby likes his, too. I just wish that it came in a few different colors, to help family members tell theirs apart.

Best backpacking hat around for hot climes. Rocked this hat on the PCT, its the best lightweight, folds in half for easy packing away and washes well. Hubby loves his too!!

As advertised. Well made fits perfectly. Back neck has total coverage and the tie helps keep the hat secure.

Am I going to win style points wearing this hat? No. Will my face and neck be protected from the harmful rays of the sun while I walk my dog, kayak the ocean, play with my kids? Heck, yeah! Super lightweight, this hat adds no heat or bulk. It packs down perfectly and gives great sun protection. Having had my kids in the Play Hat for the past four years, it was only fair that I join in on the sun-fun!

Love it, especially the color. I have a large head and the L/XL fits perfectly.
