Great hat. Bought for a canoe trip in Northern Maine Wilderness. Kept Sun off. Didn't get real hot. Strap worked well when crossing a large lake when winds picked up in afternoon. Lots of compliments.

Best hat I've ever owned. The glasses holder makes it easy to switch from regular glasses to sunglasses. I did cut off the string, though. Oh, and the small amount of adjustment is nice.

As a landscape/nature photographer, I needed a hat that not only covered my bald head and eyes but my neck too. Always worried about sun exposure, SPF 50 rating is great. I have tried other wide brim hats but the back brim would hit my backpack, would turn into a bonnet when wet, and did not have good ventilation so was too hot. I got this hat about two years ago for b-day. I wear it on all my hikes, all seasons. The fit is well and the sunglass holders are a plus. People have asked from my video blog what hat it is so I tell them about not only your company but the hat. The Charter has held up well in the rain and scorching heat (Southern Alabama). It is a little dirty and sweat marks that have given it character. The chin strap can tuck up nicely in the inside pocket but has come in handy on windy days. I love the "pack flat" when traveling. Whenever I wear this one out, I will order another. Thanks.

My charter hat came in a box, not smashed, and after adjusting it to the smallest fitting for the medium hat, it fit perfectly. I love wearing it. I don't enjoy the tie under the neck, so I have stuffed it into the pocket in the top of the hat. The sunglass slits are perfect for putting my sunglasses, when not in use, and they look kind of stylish. I love it.

I'm not a hat guy but my ball caps were not cutting it. I needed to keep the sun off my ears and neck when walking. Superb design. Great fit. Excellent quality. I can't seem to get the top vents to stay open, but that may be "operator error".

I love my new hat! It is perfect. the lock on the chin strap prevents the hat from blowing off in strong winds when I go sailing. It fits comfortably on my head.

Awesome hat! I bought one years ago for my husband, who wears his whenever he's out working in the yard or out fishing. I was hoping you still sold it. I know it will last for years and always look good with a washing when needed. I bought the large men's because I don't like tight hats and this one is adjustable.

This is a great hat! I bought it for my husband. His last hat was too round. This one is slightly oval. The ventilation near the top is great, as is the strap- which helps prevent it from flying off!

I ordered a second hat for a second home because I found this is the one I use all the time - for walking and baseball games mainly. Very comfortable, not too high and good ventilation.

I bought this 5 years ago. I wear it 16 to 30 hours a week on average. I hand wash it in the sink and let it air dry. Still going strong. No thread tears or anything.
