Bought this hat three years ago and it is still going strong in the heat and sun of Botswana. Lightweight, so even when it is scorching it sits lightly on the head while protecting from the sun. Highly recommend this hat for those spending a lot of time outdoors!

The Charter hat is made well, fit is adjustable and comfortable plus has UV protection. Could not be more pleased with this purchase.

Love this hat. Buy a new one every year because they get faded by the sun, and I love the original blue color.

I like the style, quality, fit, and color. Wide brim keeps me protected. I wear on walks and to the store.

This is a great hat. It looks great, is washable, and has a nice stiff brim that holds it's shape even in very strong winds. I did have a problem with the size adjuster - it broke the first time I tried to adjust it. However, that issue was easily repaired by just pinning the strap till I got the fit I wanted, then sewing it in place. Keep in mind that it's entirely possible I pulled the adjustment strap too hard. At any rate, I'm really happy with this hat and would absolutely buy another one.

Husband loves this hat! He wears to do yard work and stuff around the house on sunny days, keeps him cooler and sun protection for his bald head. He even took it on our hiking trips. Washable and long lasting.

I've just received my second Compass hat in this olive green/khaki color, even though my first still has a lot of life left in it. The color goes with everything so I wear it often. I've worn it so often to garden that I decided to buy another to wear when I'm not gardening and working up a sweat. I usually wear the chin band to the back of my neck, though it's great to have it when the wind blows. Great protection from rain or the sun. Has a barely noticeable, but useful flap you can lift up to reveal a screen-type fabric underneath for more ventilation. I love Sunday afternoons hats for their clear quality and thoughtful engineering. The brim can't be beat when the sun is in your eyes. (I noticed on my yearly visit to my dermatologist that she has Sunday Afternoons hats on display in her office.)

This is a great hat, the dark on inside rim does the job.

Really nice hat. Easy to adjust the size using a draw cord. The wide brim will keep lots of sun or rain from hitting you, but is not a good choice if you will be using a tall backpack since the brim is a bit too stiff to fold up or down. Definitely a great hat for day hikes or yard work.

I wear the hat hiking, however a great deal of time is with me on the tennis court.

Purchased to back up the same hat that I have used for 5 years. Old one still good but a little sweat stained.

I've had a Sunday Afternoon hat for many years and my daughter finally ask me for one, so she now has one. Mine has kept up super well even after washing and wearing it exclusively. I love the option of the vented dome and the wide brim. I am ready to order another one for myself and one for my other daughter

This is my favorite and most comfortable hat I have ever had.

My hat is very light weight. The brim remains stiff which is good for golf and tennis. I appreciate the SPF protection and the hat even looks good. The hat is very comfortable and could be worn all day.

If not using the chin straps, they can be tucked up into the inside pocket. Unless it is really windy, I prefer having the straps out of the way.

I have been using this hat several years now so I can tell everyone it's my old faithful. Not waterproof in the rain though so was thinking of spraying it with a waterproofing spray. It has the perfect amount of stiffness to hold it's shape where I can pull the back brim down over my neck on hot days.

My husband loves this hat. He wears is all the time in warm weather. It helps with the sun and heat due to the structure and ventilation. Definitely 5 stars.

Great hat. The El Paso sun is brutal, but this hat blocks it very well. I was worried it wasn't wide enough to provide shade, but it has it covered, pun intended.

Breathable, beautiful sun protection! I love how lightweight it is as well as being adustable.
