I saw the Adventure Hat on someone's head and practically took it right off to see who made it. I went to the computer the same day and ordered my own. The hat arrived just in time for my own adventure - weekend trip to New Hampshire. I'm in the house wearing it already. Thanks for a great design and FUNCTIONAL sun hat!

I wear this hat nearly every day during the spring, summer and early fall months and LOVE it! It keeps the pesky sun-glare out of my eyes and off the back of my neck. It breathes well, so I don't feel overly hot from wearing it. The best part is the chinstrap so it doesn't blow off, which is wonderful on windy spring days. My kids also have the kid-version of these and have worn them during the same periods for two years now. We all love them!

I bought this hat for my brother. He's in landscaping. He just loves it. He likes how lightweight the hat is, the ventilation and the coverage it offers. I first found this hat in a surf shop years ago and it has been my constant companion since. I regularly get compliments about the hat. I love the sun protection factor and have recommended this hat to literally hundreds of people. Everyone in my family has at least one and we use them for all outdoor activities. I take it or wear it everywhere.

I am a PE teacher in Arizona and I use this hat a lot! I just got a new one after having my first one for over 7 years. Not only does it protect from the sun, but it is so lightweight that it doesn't make you sweat. I have tried a lot of hats and this one is the best for sure! I have recommended it to many other people. I even got the children's versions for my 2 kids. We will keep using them for many years to come.

I have owned this hat for over 10 years and still have the same one, that's how durable they are! In fact, I love this hat so much that each member of my family has one. I have used this hat on casual afternoons in the garden, on dive cruises, while hiking in the Grand Canyon and Arches National Parks. The one thing I notice each time I wear my hat is that when I look around, people around me are sweating and squinting and having a terribly overheated time (we live in Sacramento where it gets 110 degrees in the summer). While everyone else is "suffering" in the heat, I am barely sweating and do not feel anxiously overheated. I recently went hiking in Arches National Park in Utah and wore my hat as well as my women's classic shirt (with no sunscreen on my arms) and stayed cool and well ventilated the entire time. I highly recommend this hat to anyone and everyone! It is so functional, travels so well, fits in your back pocket or cargo pocket and makes such an amazing difference in your day, and your skin's health!

I had an adventure hat for at least 5 years, it went every where with me, local shopping, oversea traveling......, it is light and great for travel most of all it is UPF sun protective. I lost it couple days ago and I was pretty upset. I ordered another one just like it. I love this hat!!!

This hat was everything I was looking for. I have purchased 3. 1 for me to work outside in. One for me to wear out to special events and 1 for my wife. I have had several people I know say that they are going to order them. It really protects ones face & neck from the sun when mowing the grass. I'll never go back to the old ball cap or straw hats. And it looks great on me & great on my wife.

I am a roofing contractor and this hat fits all my needs,as well as protecting me from skin cancer. It keeps me cool during the very hot days on the roof. This hat is very light, I can barley tell I am wearing it. thank you

I bought this hat for my husband. He is a doctor and sees many patients with skin cancer. He was so happy with it, and now wears it almost every day. It's a good way to protect yourself from harmful UV rays.

I just returned from the Bahamas and was driving down Indiantown Road in Jupiter Florida and saw a GOOD hat on the side of the road. I turned around and picked it up and tried it on. It fit well and I brought it home and washed it. I have been a fishing guide for 25 years and I can tell by the fis that this is and excellent product. I have had all kinds of different hats and this is a good hat and I have not even used it yet. I look forward to years of use out of it and will be buying others.

I wear this hat 5 days a week. This is my 3rd hat of this style and I love it! I love the protection it gives my face, ears and neck.

I bought the hat for my mother-in-law, for her traveling and sun activities with the children. She loves it and uses it for all her sun activities. I gave her another hat for more elegant occasions, so that's the only times she won't wear the adventure hat.

When you need protection from the harsh sun in New Zealand's summer this is just the trick. As an active walker and traveler this hat is first off the block and into the suitcase. My biggest challenge with any hat wear is perspiration. A changeable sweat band would benefit the hat and help keep washing to a minimum for the complete hat. With an aging population the peak gives great shade to the eyes, with sun being a major cause of Glaucoma, this hat is beneficial for that protection.

I bought my first adventure hat more than a dozen years ago at the Rose Bowl Flea Market because I was desperate for some sun relief. To this day, I still consider it one of the best purchases I've ever made. My hat is still in great shape and I use it very regularly. I wash by hand (never in the washer), lay flat to dry and voila, it's good as new. Here's my quick summary of the hat: The good: - Lightweight, comfortable, and adjustable. - Wide, sloping brim keeps sun off your face during the midday. - Lightweight neck flap keeps the sun off your neck but can flip up (held by velcro tab) when you want a little extra air circulation. - Neck strap is very handy and has saved the hat from falling off my head while 1) riding a galloping horse, 2) sitting in a speeding boat, 3) windy days, and 4) riding top down in my husband's convertible. - The soft neck flap allows you to use this in the car too, without a hard brim in the back. The bad: - It's not the most delicate hat and it's NOT pretty but I'd rather be a little less fashionable today than have skin cancer tomorrow...! In all fairness, I do have a very early version of the hat (criss cross crown top) and it looks very safari-ish. There are cuter colors now. :-) All in all, this is THE best designed sun hat out there. It was worth every penny I paid when this first came out. I just ordered another adventure hat today in a cuter color. I'm looking forward to receiving it and wearing it out.

First of all, I am excited that this hat (in certain colors) is made in the USA!!!!! So hard to find these days. I purchased this hat in cream/coffee primarily because of this reason. I wear this hat when mowing and doing yard work. Sometimes it gets dusty and all I have to do is shake it off. Looks like new again. This is my first purchase and definitely will purchase more items in the future since I recently moved to south Florida.

I'm very much allergic to the sun. These hats really do the trick in keeping the sun off my neck and face.

i found these hats in the clearance at rei and since i work outside all day in new mexico my ears dont crack anymore the back of my neck looks human. these hats are the bomb

No more do I have to retrieve my hat when gardening in tight quarters. The brim and veil shade well without getting in the way or obstructing your view and the adjustable string keeps the hat where it belongs...on my head. Next year I plan to try some of the clothing. Thanks so much for a great product.

Being that I have sun sensitive skin I will wear this anytime I am in the sun. I was afraid to order because of fit, but the small fits me perfect. I love the shade of the wide brim and the 50 UPF rating.

The adventure hat is so lightweight it is a joy to wear. I just got it and plan on doing all my gardening in it. I wanted a washable hat with a strap, so it won't blow off my head. I'm very pleased

I love my new Adventure Hat! I have a 24.5 inch head (I wear a size 8 fitted baseball cap) and this Adventure Hat fits great. Its adjustable. So no matter what size head you have it will fit great! The hat even has a cord for the beach on windy days. I picked out the Adventure Hat because I needed extra protection as my hair is thinning and my head burns easy. Well actually everything burns easy as I am fair skinned. So this hat is great. It covers my entire head and shades my face and neck completely. Ball games and long walks are so much more enjoyable. Even though the hat is rather big, it easily folds up to store in the visor of my truck. The Adventure Hat is very light, cool and well made. The back neck flap can be folded up and pinned with the Velcro strip if desired. It also has vents to let the breeze run through your hair while you walk. I picked out the white hat to help reflect even more of the suns heat (compared to darker colors). If you want a quality hat that will fit any size head and protect you from the hot sun - buy this hat. :O)

Love the hat. This is my second one. Would like the drawstring to be longer.
