Very comfortable. But not much arch and ankle support.

I have always loved the Fresh Foam 1080. It has marvelous cushioning and doesn't feel clunky on my small feet. However, sadly, this new version does not work for me. The lace box now starts about 1 cm further back so that my big toe joint doesn't get the support it needs. I have tried many other shoe brands (Brooks, Asics, Hoka) to find something that works but no luck. Finally, I found out about New Balance "More" which are pretty ugly (in my opinion) compared to the fresh foam 1080 but at least they work for now. I am definitely not a happy customer.

Use the shoes primarily on treadmill on fast walk or jog. Also run outside from time to time. Shoe fits perfectly and gives the right support where needed.

Man oh man what a great show for me. I can stand on my feet for hours. And they are soft soft. I'm a new balance guy but these are wonderful

Needed new shoe for walking and jogging. No full time runner just casual. Really like the cushion they feel wonderful. I have a higher instep and it feels a little snug right at the instep but not terrible. Over all great shoe.

This is the most comfortable shoe I own! Just received my second pair and couldn't be happier.

First the good news. Lighter shoe with better cushion. I am running faster than with the super heavy 1540v3. Bad news: (1) The upper is too big. When I tighten up the shoe, I get creases where the lace holes are. See photo. The upper is just too big for a narrow shoe. This is creating a potential hot spot. (2) I tend to rub my shoes when running. The edges of the foam soles no longer have as durable a protective outer coating. See photo. Instead of a occasional nick, I am actually shaving material off of the sole - already 1/4" in the rubbing area. Cheap! I am growing convinced that these running shoes are no longer for athletes. They are fancy walking shoes. For a narrow footed person like myself, New Balance no longer seems to care. If anyone know a good narrow shoe maker let me know. ( >20 year New Balance buyer)

Lotta differences in the V11 and V10 - fit is different with softer mesh now, lacing has changed and having to use a runner's loop because laces now hit tendon at top of foot, seems less cushion, I get that they want to update but don't lose the good stuff - too late. One pro - they look good - but having to adjust to a shoe that was perfect sucks.

I need a wide shoe and a roomy toe box. The 1080v11 was just barely wide enough (in the 4E) but the toe box was too shallow so I had to return.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks 11- best shoe ever ; but sadly gone.

Lightest/most comfortable shoes I've ever had. Won't ever go back to Nike again.

Extremely disappointed. It's a lounge shoe now and comfortable enough for that purpose. Definitely not a running shoe or even an athletic shoe. I run 2-3 miles a day and have now had this new shoe for about a week. Not supportive. It feels like it will roll out from under you with any off camber foot plant or side load. The V10 was SO much better. The construction of this new shoe just appears to have had cost cutting as the major design criteria.

Had several pair of 1070s for a couple of years but started aving trouble with heel/Achilles pain. Got the new 1080s which made all the difference in the world. Pain gone within a few days. Supremely comfortable, very easy on the feet especially for overpronators like myself. Should've bought these years ago and saved myself a lot of trouble.

Very Supportive, and this product earned the initial five star rating. I'm will have to see how this products breaks in with time however it's one of the most comfortable and I look forward to the next generation of this sneaker. It's very close to perfection but comfort is five stars.

Very comfortable shoes although I would still like them to be a tad bit wider even though they are 4 E. They are very comfortable however. Glad I ordered up a size to half a size
