Just love these so comfortable smooth very nice shoes this is my second pair I wear them every day o don't use them for running but just as a daily wear shoe. Comfort us what I'm looking for and that's what I got. Love them. Got a pair for the husband a d he lives them as he is walking all day long.

I liked the old 1080's better than the v11. I have worn New Balance 1080's for years and loved them. I ordered a 10.5 2E. They seemed big. I re-ordered a 10 2E. They seemed small. Then decided to go to the NB store. Told the gentleman my Del I'm a. He suggested the 880v11 2E. Tried them on and bought them. These shoes were returned.

Well designed and well constructed running shoe. I have been a runner for 48 years and have tried them all. My favorites are New Balance and ASICs. I started using foam sole running shoes 10 years ago before they became popular. This New Balance 1080 is a winner, firm but easy on your feet, highly recommend this shoe, even though it is a little on the pricey side.

I thought I would be able to wear these everyday before the shoes broke downnot so. Alternative the shoes are comfortable it doesn't hold up very long. 6 weeks tops.

My main complaint is around the support. Not the arch, which can be solved by an orthotic, but heel and ankle. These were very comfortable and fit well, but the heel support was not enough. With a bouncy sole I felt these needed more support around the heel to keep from twisting an ankle.

So, first off, I'm not a runner. I walk about two miles a day. These are incredibly comfortable shoes, with a lot of cushioning. I got them because I have wide feet and they come in wide sizes, and I can put my orthotic inserts in them. Plus, they were recommended by my podiatrist, who consults to several Phila sports teams. I can't say enough good about the shoes - the most comfortable shoes I have had in years. I will be buying them again.

i'm 75 years old, down to about 20 miles/week. switched to new balance 990s years ago because they fit (i'm a double e). still have a pair of 990s, but the 1080s have become the go-to shoe. i believe the provide better cushioning for my old-aching joints.

I have burned through NUMEROUS shoes looking for the proper combination of support and comfort. Full disclosure I tried the 880s first under the assumption that the 1080s would not have enough support - and while the 880s are a fine shoe - if you need a wide shoe or have PF issues or both THIS IS YOUR SHOE. Without question - and this includes Asics, Saucony, and my long time go-to (until now) Mizuno - this is the most comfortable running shoe I have ever owned - so much so I bought six pairs. (And no, no one offered me free anything)

I was very angry. The foam collapsed over the time of a month or so, leaving both feet slanted outwards. Dangerous even. And I only used them at work, walking and standing.

I work at a semiconductor manufacturing facility and walk on metal grates for 10 hours a day. As a result, I was buying a new pair of shoes every 3 months. The 1365v1 New Balance shoes have been the best I have found ( I bought 3 pairs) but they have gotten hard to find at a normal price. These shoes (1080v11) have been very comfortable from the beginning so I am hopeful. Of course, the issue is how long they will last. At $150 a pair, they have to last 6 months to justify the cost.

I'm a 53 yr old male with hip problems. I wear these shoes for walking. The cushion in these shoes helps my hip tremendously. Great shoes!
