I found that just walking my feet would come out of the shoe. No matter how tightly tied. I think it’s because the back is soft material.

Purchased for my daily walking routine that is unfortunately on concrete. The fresh foam sole helps absorb some of the impact. I usually do 5-7 miles per day. As per instructions I had to order a 1/2 size larger and they fit perfectly. Nicely vented for warm weather comfort.

Bright shoes great for 0'dark-early walk/run with the pups.

I wish I got the yellow one in the pictureTe shoes are lighter than the older model 1080s while maintaining cushioning (and hoping lightness doesnt equal shorter cushioning lifespan?) But wish you had 1080s in 14EE more often, especially in colors like yellow, red and orange rather than dull grey (grey is not a color, it is an in between the two other "non-colors" of black and white. That is why no one buys black and white tvs anymore. Shades of grey were the only options.

6ft 240lb runner averaging 20-30 miles per week. This show has the cushion but the front part of the foot seems to be hitting higher than most shoes, resulting in Achilles tendon soreness and stillness the next day. The heel cup is very loose, I have had four 4 mile runs in them and the soreness is the same the day after.

I'm female and wear a Ladies 11 dress shoe, but I buy Mens boots and athletic shoes for the support they provide. I have worn Men's New Balance for years and like the wider toe box and the slight lift of the toe. My last 2 pairs have been the 1012 in a Men's 10. Online reviews of this shoe indicated it ran a little short, so I ordered both a 10 and a 10.5 in the Mens. The 10 seemed short, so it was returned, and the 10.5 fits perfectly. The shoe is very lightweight, but so supportive, and the foam sole is wonderfully comfortable. Another great shoe from New Balance.

Not so plushy at first few miles. A little stiff. Its bounciness definitely stands out after mile 4. Toe box a little big larger than my other shoes of the same size, such as adidas or Nike. But overall it's quite a good pair for long distance with some 5:00 - pace.

The fit, support, cushion, and weight are dead on, but the sole durability is pretty bad. I use these for walking (2 miles/day, 7 days/week). I've had these only for a couple of months tops and the sole wear is significant.

Good shoe. Glad the older model still is available. The newest model is ridiculously overpriced. How NB gets people to pay that price is somewhat of a mystery to me. This version is functionally the same as the new one but 60 percent cheaper.

I loved these shoes, after 6 months of medium use the foam has started to get crushed and is degrading. I wish they had held up, I loved them but they aren’t durable enough.

Terrible. Awful. The most uncomfortable sneakers Ive ever worn. The back / heel of the shoe is a thin, elastic that provides no support at all. I guess this was thee cheapest option available, rather than construct a shoe that actually surrounds your foot. I can't stand them. It feels like I am constantrly falling out of my shoes. Like i'm earing open-back mules. Never again.

Ordered these in 11 4E and legit the best shoe Ive worn in a while. I ended up 2 more pair on amazon since they are no longer on Zappos. Great Shoe, lasted a full summer of being on my feet for 10 hours a day and walking 12k steps a day. Easy to clean as well!

6 Months using this shoe for rigorous walking. Shoe is very comfortable and fits great, but unfortunately the materials that the shoe is made of are really really weak. After a little under six months of use, the sole of the shoe has a significantly deteriorated. I have also worn a hole in the insole where the ball of my foot is. Sometimes while walking, chunks of the insole will break away, and I have to take the shoe off to get the crumbs of the insole out. i wish this shoe was stronger and I would have given it a better review. Been a fan of New Balance since 1998 and they are my go to running/walking shoe, but the foam models are not built to last. Will be looking for something a little more rugged for my next walking shoe.
