I have a rare neurological condition that causes muscles stiffness in my feet, ankles and legs. I have long looked for a comfortable shoe which has good support and a soft sole for my feet. This is the most comfortable shoe I have worn in years. My job requires me to walk long distances on hard floors. These shoes give me a level of comfort I did not know possible. There will be many more pairs of New Balance shoes such as these on my closet.

HAVING A PREVIOUS RIGHT ANKLE REPLACEMENT AND A LEFT KNEE REPLACEMENT FOOTWEAR IS AT THE TOP OF MY PRIORITIES FOR THE
ACTIVITIES THAT I DO AT MY AGE OF 78!! GOLFING, EXERCISING ( WALKING, STA. BIKE, GOLFING, FISHING, ETC). THE 1080'S WERE RECOMMENDED
TO ME IN DALLAS AT YOU OUTLET STORE SOME 5-7+ YEARS AGO AND I HAVE BEEN A FAN SINCE!! THEY HAVE IN MY OPINION BEEN THE BEST BUT HAVE CONTINUED TO IMPROVE OVER THE YEARS - THESE LAST RECEIVED ARE THE BEST YET!! THEY FEEL LIGHTER AND SEEM TO FIT BETTER ( SINCE I REQUIRE 4EE'S). THE FRESH FOAM IS REMARKABLE!! I USE THEM FOR ALL MY ACTIVITIES!! THANKS!

Have always purchased New Balance for my son who's always had wide feet. New Balance is one of the few brands that carry a wide shoe for children. My son is now 14 and is wearing a men's size 14 W shoe. Purchased this shoe for him for summer band practice and camp. He says this brand is always comfortable and he likes the styles and colors. ( That he's not stuck wearing what looks like "an old man's shoe.")

Shie has lots of cushion but the heel has a very hard Ridge if material that instantly irritated my heel. Sent back for refund

Compared to Hoka Graviota, I lot more "give" / cushioning under the ball of my foot. Lightweight and comfortable. The yellow isn't really yellow, it's more like, YELLOW!!!

NB Fresh Foam 1080v11 were pretty comfy & cushy. I am returning to NB because Asics & Brooks are both making their running shoes more narrow and the 4E or XW widths are no longer comfortable.

Fantastic shoes, worth every penny. After sitting around during the pandemic, I am 20 lbs overweight with BMI of 29 (CDC define obese as 30 and above) and have hypertension. So, I have to exercise everyday to get my weight down. However, my old shoes - Sketcher was not very good, so my feet and my lower back hurt everyday. This shoes relieved my pain and enabled me to continue my daily walking/running exercise routine. Fresh Foam 1080v11 has the right amount of cushioning and lateral support, moderate arch support for low arch feet. After two weeks, I am assured that I have made the right choice for choosing Fresh Foam 1080v11.

Ordered 11 2E of the 1090v11 like the previous six pairs of 1080's, (three v8, two v9, one and v10) but this version was very narrow. When I tried the 4E at the store, it was way too much volume... the first time in over six years that I had to find a different shoe!
My story has a happy ending. My sales person at the NB store brought out the 11 2E of the FreshFlow More v3 and I could not be more pleased with them. Very comfortable and truly a 2E width.

Love the shoe. Probably my favorite pair yet. Just thought they are a bit pricey at $157.00. But I to think they are great shoes.

Like many products in these inflationary times, the box is the same size, but the actual content is smaller. I’ve been wearing the 1080 for a while now, and even though these are the same length and width as all my other versions, my foot crowds the foot bed on these, and the sole is a whole ½” narrower than the previous versions. I'd be better off running in Birkenstocks. Returned!

I run about 3 miles a day. These shoes work great for me. Good arch support. Plenty of cushioning for me. At first they felt a little loose around the heel but after my first and then second run they no longer have that feel. I have been very please with the 1080's as this is my third pair. V7, V8 and now the V11

Great shoe but due to numerous foot & ankle surgery, one shoe did not fit as well as I hoped. I will stick with the 990v.

I felt that the 11 version had good width and support seemed to fit true to my size and I am a 14-4E.

In size 16M, the shoe has no toe box, in other words very narrow... and the big toe on both shoes will rub against the inner side. I think this is a design flaw as this is not present in the Beacon v3. I did not try to repurchase the shoe with a wider width, as they are generally too wide.

I am very disappointed in this sneaker. I love fresh foam from my previous experience with the "Cruz reissue" the Cruz reissue is the best running sneaker in my collection compared to my higher end running sneakers and I have 5 pairs of Cruz! Lol. So I figure I'd try out the 1080v11 because of the thicker stack. I figure with the thicker cushion, it would feel even more comfortable than the Cruz. But man I was dead wrong. Completely different shoe. Feels nothing alike. The cushion feels great. But that's about all I can say about the 1080v11. The upper of the shoe feels like it's clamping down on the top of your mid foot and gets tighter with each stride. Not comfy at all because it feels like you have a strap around your mid foot. My heel is always moving up and down. The heel part of the shoe has no type of security so I have to tie the laces all the way up just to try and secure my heel and even at that it still slides up and down with each stride. Between it being very tight midfoot and insecure heel, it's just very uncomfortable.

I use to wear a nike max air, but this new balance shoe is lighter, doesnt weigh my feet down, and is very comfortable. I do a lot of walking in a warehouse and this shoe did great. Even though it is a running shoe, it did better than a walking shoe. definitely recommend

Love the product. Have had two hip replacements and I can actually run without pain with these shoes!
However, when they showed up--there were two shoes but one shoe had no laces. Nowhere in the box nor in the shoe itself. When I called customer service, (after waiting twice for nearly 10 minutes), they said they could not really help me. They could not send me a new pair of laces. Best they could do is send me a "coupon to buy new laces somewhere!" Seriously, for a shoe company, not to be able to send me replacement laces--or a new pair of replacement shoes with laces? Absurd.

This model 1080 is a return to me to shoes I've previously enjoyed. Prescribed by my Orthopedic Surgeon, this model really helped me in my recovery from double knee replacements. I made the mistake of replacing the first ones with cross-training shoes (at the advice of store personnel) and was completely dissatisfied. I bit the bullet and bought the previous model at your online store and could not be happier. The sole of the 1080 is completely different from the cross-trainers.

Ordered the wide to fit my feet and it is perfect. Anyone with wide feet should consider. Overall, the shoe is very comfortable almost feels like you are wearing socks (the fabric on the tops are very soft). The sole has a lot of cushion and support as well.
