70 yr old 220lb jogger, plus excellent dog walker. It took 4 days for the insole to become comfy so give the very firm initial feel a chance. I bought 13 narrow very very few choices in the NB lineup, sigh, still felt these were a bit wide at the toe break. Would be nice to get a repeat buyer discount too.

This is my second pair of 1080. This is an excellent shoe for everyday training and long distance running. Nice color scheme and good fit. My only complaint is that those wear out quickly: after about 300-400 miles the treads are worn out and the cushioning is very diminished.

Good looking, comfortable, fit well on my wide feet! I have arthritis in my toes, and these shoes do not squeeze the heck out of them. When I take them off, there is no pain that I usually feel when I "release" my feet from too skinny shoes...

Super comfortable. Wearing them for 12 hours a day.

I use them for casual daily usage. They are very comfortable and the fit is great.

Bought these bad boys for my super athletic son. These shoes are his favorite for training, but not racing. The shoes has a good stack height to allow the runners foot to just roll with every stride. Just keep in mind, they do come with a certain mileage. My son goes through these every 3 months.

I am a PE teacher and on my feet all day. The flooring is cement and therefore hard on my feet, ankles and lower back. These shoes have greatly improved my comfort and health.

This is my 5th pair of 1080s. Won't run in anything else. Please don't change this shoe! Love them.

This is the third generation of 1080's I have run with. I have gone through 2 pairs of v9 and v10. The v11 for me is a step down. The uppers are too stretchy, to the point of making you feel like there is no support. And the heel is "slippery"; no matter what I do I can't overcome the heel slip.

Very comfortable with good support. Used for distance training.

This is my third pair of 1080s and second pair of v11s. The cushioning is very comfortable for my old knees and the width fit for the 2E I need is perfect. The durability of the soles is not quite what it used to be but I tend to keep my shoes longer that I should. I am not sure what I think about the rear heal "tongue" that is new to the v11s. I never had trouble with small peoples getting in my v10s but these v11s are pebble magnets. My opinion is they pop up from the road when I step on them and land in between my heal and that tongue which acts like a funnel. I shake out my shoes now after every run and the number of pebbles is surprising. The new design isn't so bad that I can't deal with it. I just got a new pair and will probably stay with them unless they change the design in a way I can't agree with.

I where these as everyday sneakers and for outdoor walking. I walk about 3 miles for exercise and my feet feel great when I'm done.

I walk about 30 miles per week (jammin', not strollin') and this is a great shoe for my needs. Lots of uneven pavement and asphalt on my journey and these smooth the road for me.

Using the NB running shoes for many years (75 years, more than 3000 miles per year). Was a little bit afraid to try the new 1080v10. The new design of the shoe looked hard and too stiff in pictures (tried to avoid in-store shopping 2021). I have purchased 1080v10 in December 2020 and was so happy with my purchase. Shoes fit perfectly and running in them is a complete joy. I have a hip replacement (right only) since 2003 so good cushioning is the most important for my everyday runs. I also need the E4 shoe width and the NB provides for that as well. I have had no hesitation when ordering the 1080v11 and I hope that this design will continue for the v 13 and so on.....Kudos NB.....Thank you!

I purchased version 10 and thought version 11 would be just as comfortable. I was wrong. These shoes have no cushion or shock support. In other words their hard. I bought 2 pairs. Begin wearing one pair and quickly took the second pair back for a refund and purchased a version 10 pair. I hear version 12 will be released soon. I hope they don't disappoint.

I am on my feet all day and they support me very well with my back.

Love the 1080s. They can do everything from speed to long runs!

I wear a size 12 in just about every brand. These have over a thumb with gap in the toe area. Unfortunately I wore them before I regretted them being way too big. Shoes feel great other than length. Would definitely size down.

Brand new out of the box and both plastic heel cups in the back of the shoes are broken in under a week of light use. This is unacceptable for the price point of this shoe. Same thing happened to my last 2 previous models. Obviously the same boat for a lot of other reviewers. NB refuses to fix this problem. It's time to drop the brand...

This is my second pair. I have back problems and use these exclusively for walking. Wear them until my back aches then it's time for a new pair.
