I have consistently purchased Foam 1080's, which provide good cushion for walking and running but also good arch support. The actually fit like a glove. I've been using New Balance shoes for 40 years and have never been disappointed.

I mostly walk and do some light running, and this model really balances out the problems caused by my high arches. They feel a bit more durable than the 1080v1's, which is also a plus.

I have been enjoying the shoe until I noticed a loud pop while putting on the shoe. The noise came from the heel support when it broke into two. The other shoe broke the week after. Now the shoes are loose and sharp pieces of plastic project into my heel.

I am a short fat man who just started moving. I wanted to do this with the least amount of excuses so I went to a running store and got fitted. I'm happy, my feet are happy, now I continue to improve which is good. I already purchased a second pair so I can alternate.

Everyday running, easy runs, tempos, long runs. The shoe does it all. It runs about a half size big though.

I love these shoes! Great looking, incredibly comfortable and supportive for walking and running. I have an extra wide foot, and it's so hard to find great shoes that cater to everybody. Great job NB.

This is the second pair of these shoes that I have ,really like them very comfortable. My first pair are now a year old and still going strong .

I really wanted a 2nd pair of the 840s I ordered at the same time but you only had 1 pair in my size 12.5 4E so I thought I'd try these out. After standing in them for 1/2 an hour my feet hurt so bad I immediately boxed them up and sent them back.

Was in Krakow, Poland. Needed a pair of shoes as my boots were heavy and I left my sneakers back in in USA. Since my umpire and golf shoes were all NB, decided to go to the Galleria to visit a NB store. Happy I did. Shoes are comfortable and lite. Great buy. Salesperson was great. I liked the shoe so much, I visited store in Carle Place NY, rep there {ALEX} was great as well. He took his time with me to see to it that I was happy and satisfied. Since they didn't have the color shoe in stock I wanted, he ordered from warehouse, and I picked up at his location a few days later. Since I intended to keep a pair in Europe, I purchased another pair direct from NB. As I said, most comfortable shoe I've ever worn.

I have been wearing New Balance for the past 8 plus years and this is the first time the foot wasn't as wide as needed. Also the insole pinched at rear of the shoe and doesn't remain in place after adjusting.

I am a bigger person and love to run. I am tough on shoes. A buddy turned me on to these. Outstanding. Foam is very comfortable, but sturdy. Wide width is a huge plus. Pretty stylish as well. All around - 3 gold stars!!

I unfortunately had to return this order. The upper fit was "off." It must have been some sort of manufacturing defect. I am currently running in two pair of 1080v11 and I absolutely love the shoes. These just did not fit right for some reason.

I can purchase NB online because my size is consistent. Love the shoes!

I run 3-4 time per week usually between 2.0--3.5 miles. The 1080 is a perfect, neutral, cushioned shoe, no knee or hip problems running the streets at 65 yrs. old... It might run a tad small, I am usually 10 2E but 10.5 2E was the better fit, I felt my toes hitting the front of the toe box in the 10's.

I'm a distribution aide at Steward Holy Family Hospital in Methuen Mass, 08144, I deliver product to many departments in the Hospital and walk about 15,000 steps per day. (about 8 miles ) I needed a comfortable walking sneaker. Awesome sneaker very comfortable plenty of flex and rebound. Rating from 1 to 10 - I'll call it a 10 for me... Thanks Don D.

I've been waiting for this shoe my entire life. I can run and walk in them and not feel any pain like when I wear my other shoes.
