I have high arches and Salomon shoes offer the best arch support. The shoes are well made and last.

I bought these a couple of months ago and the first day or two I had them I was sorely disappointed. I had a couple of hot spots and they fit different than traditional hiking boots, and almost gave up, but kept wearing them on short walks and now they fit and feel like a glove. The adjustment system was a little different than I was used to on the Forces 2 and Quest 3, but once I got that figured out I haven't looked back. I've worn these hiking, working in the woods on rough terrain, and my daily dog walking shoes. They're very lightweight yet plenty supportive and lock your feet in well. Highly recommend and I may just be converted from the Quest line. Salomons warranty is bulletproof and their customer service is top notch. Buy with confidence and take the time to fit them right and you may be converted as well.

The best shoes for hiking, comfortable and durable, get a pair

I've had these for a few months and have worn them a few times I find them very comfortable out if the box. Once winter is over here in Canada they'll get more attention from me and I look forward to that.

I bought these boots a month ago and am very pleased with them. They are light, very comfortable and waterproof, everything that I was hoping for.

I got the shoes as a replacement as a replacement via their warranty.. I have had them for about 3 months and I Love them. I only wear Solomon boots from now on

Amazing shoe. Just used on a 80+ mile hike through the Gran Desierto, which included miles of sand dunes, volcano lava rock and dirt. I did not have time before the trip to break them in and I did not have to. These shoes are very tough, insanely comfortable and broke-in with ease. If the white ones come back in 7.5, someone please send them to me. Awesome shoe. Will consistently be in my outdoor rotation.

This are the most comfortable and lightest mid hiking boots. They were comfortable from day one.

I wished these for christmas 2020, but they were sold out in my size. Didn't wanna risk it, so bought them when they were avail online in my size. Nice, light and perfect fitting.

I bought them like a month ago, and one week later I was doing my first hike with them. It wasn't necessary do some walking to adjust them, they are comfortable from the first minute and you don't feel your feet tired at any moment. The trail was super moody and wet, and as you expected they I didn't have any wet marks in my socks. My Salomon boots are the best!

Have about 100 miles on the boots so far, still look like new and love the comfort.

I have been hiking all fall in these boots in Canada and southern Spain. They were comfortable out of the box and stayed comfortable through many miles. Excellent support,traction, and waterproof.

These are beautiful boots. Very light weight, well made and very comfortable. The wide option gives me plenty of room for my toes which I like and there is plenty of cushion and grip. Wore them on a very wet Lake District holiday and the waterproofing was brilliant despite slogging through several boggy walks. Not a drop inside. I might want a bit more boot if I was doing longer slogs with a heavy pack up in the mountains but for day walks in the foothills these are a perfect choice. Well done Salomon!

I have used these boots in a variety of conditions now. They are lightweight and extremely comfortable. They required no 'wearing in' period. The boots do not leak at all but I do find that my socks are sometimes a little damp from condensation after an hours walk in summer conditions (to be expected) The soles are flexible and provide excellent traction in wet and dry conditions. The ankle support is sufficient for fairly even terrain. Overall I am extremely pleased with the boots and I can fully recommend them.

Much more comfortable comparing to my last pair of Ultra 4 and looks much better too. It is easier to put on and tie the shoelaces and the main function of outdoor grip and comfort is a big plus. Love it and highly recommend it to people who actually love outdoor and enjoy nature.

This is my second pair of x Ulta 4's. Honestly the best light weight hiking shoes I've found.

Got these last month! They are the best waterproof boots I own! Salomon always gets it right! Fits just like the x Ultra 3 but the new features are great and so light weight!

Love these boots! They are sturdy, comfortable and good looking. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Kept me dry and warm through out 6 hr hike to snowdon. It was pouring from starting to finished and my feet was well dry and not even single blister as shoe was new and wearing it first time.

The Ultra X 4 boots are amazing. They are very comfortable and feel like they are made of very high quality material. The boots sole is great and grips to practically any surface. The price is also very reasonable for this quality. I would highly recommend this boot to everyone.

A great combination of light weight, support and grip. Perfect for day hikes on rough terrain. You might need more for a really heavy pack but I try to avoid that sort of thing.
