My favorite shows, great in all weather even ice and snow. Makes trudging up to the barn in two feet of snow easier and safer.

I've worn these on a few bikes and love them. I've crossed a few shallow streams and like the protection without being too heavy.

I first bought the low rise sneaker, liked it so much I bought the sturdier hiking boot. I have tried many other brands, these are the only shoes that help my ball of foot pain.

I have wide feet and get blisters/bunions easily in stiffer, narrower boots. Not these! They are super comfy to wear right away, no need to break them in. They've been waterproof/water resistant in snow and little puddles so far. I also have the warm and dry weather equivalent boot and was wondering how they compare. These have a stiffer and taller ankle, and the fabric is waterproof, but other than that they fit the same.

I did order a half shoes size larger, gives me more room for toes. Totally comfortable, and supports my feet, my gait, and total body alignment! Allows me the freedom to just walk a long distance and just enjoy my journey!

I have been walking and hiking in these boots for the past month and I love them. They are lightweight, comfortable, supportive and waterproof. I have arthritis in one of my toes so I need a roomy toe box and this boot delivers. I have 5 or 6 other Altras running/walking/workout shoes so this boot feels just like those except with more solid support which you want with a lightweight hiking boot. I highly recommend this boot. I would buy it again for sure.

These boots have been great so far, snow and water doesn't leak inside (I know because I accidentally dumped water on my feet while working) the fit is great for my wide feet. I ordered a half size up from my regular shoe size, thicker socks fit inside just fine. This is my second pair of Altra shoes and I'm still infatuated with the brand. The treds on the bottom for hiking and climbing on rocks are immaculate!

When I knew I needed sturdy, supportive, waterproof shoes/boots for a week hiking in a remote tropical location, I despaired of finding anything that would be comfortable and not too heavy for my old, damaged, hammer toed feet and artificial ankle. These shoes were perfect! They were supportive without being heavy, the roomy toe box never rubbed, and they kept me going in mud and rain. I'm so happy I bought these. Thank you, Altra.

LOVE! No breaking in necessary. They have excellent support and just mold to the terrain. I notice I feel 100 percent confident in the grip when on rocky areas! Going to get a second pair.Need them in all black so I can get my boyfriend a pair

I've gone through many Altra boots. THIS is the best one yet--because the hook entry finally makes it easy to take on and off. Also, I like the black--DON'T like bright, or pink footwear colors!

As I have entered "seniorhood," my feet have enlarged. The biggest problem I have is that not only do I have feet that measure almost a full size difference, but the big toe of the larger foot is splayed out to the side more than average due to an operation from many years ago. It had been impossible to find new hiking boots until an excellent shoe salesman recommended the Altra Lone Hikers. True, I had to buy two pairs of boots of different sizes(story of my life, for years), but the extra-wide toe box and springiness make these the most unusual - and precious - boots on the market. I hope Altra will continue making them for a long time to come.

These are super comfortable! I wear mine for walking and hiking!

Wore them for the first time yesterday and was very pleased. I've tried so many different hiking boots and all hurt my feet after 4 miles or before. A must for me is zero drop and wide toe box. For summer hiking I have loved my mountain kings I have worn altras for years, for work and play. Now if Altra would make a dress shoe I'd be great!

I've gone through many pair of Altra hikiing boots--I love the way they feel, and the whole zero-drop idea. However, this is the first Altra boot I can get on and off easily--love the new hooks!

I bought a pair of these mid hikers last year so I could have dry feet in Oregon's wet winter. This fall when I put them back on my feet were soaked. Altra quickly replaced my shoes with Lone peak All Weather mid. So excited to give them a try! Thanks for backing your product.

The Lone Peaks feel broken in from the first time I wear them. I use one pair for everyday use and another for working on my property. The treads work great on gravel hillsides.

Great boots! Great fit! Being they are the all weather they may be a little warm hiking this summer, but I love how light weight they are. I had a hard time finding boots that fit, but these are great. Very comfortable. Recommend highly.

These fit great right out of the box. They are sturdy, yet only slightly heavier than regular running shoes. I have bulky orthotics and need a wide toe box, so have worn Altras for many years. Was very happy to find these hiking boots.

For hiking it provides excellent ankle support and at the same time wiggle room for the toes !

I have a great deal of difficulty finding comfortable hiking boots and running sneakers. Alta was recommended by the salesperson in a local running store. I am so happy. My feet feel great, even after 8 miles, and the boots provide a lot of traction when I am hiking. I have never reviewed any product but I feel strongly about Altra products.
