I've had the Superiors for regular trail running training for many years and recently switched to Lone peaks. I had the LP 4.5 in Poppy/red color for a year and simply loved them. Wore them out after a year and backpacking trips in Utah and Picos de Europa. Had to buy new last minute Lone Peaks to start my hike Tour Mont Blanc, right after Picos (back to back hiking trips) and luckily found the LP 5's Chamonix edition 2021, the UTMB race was happening and I was right there in Chamonix. Did not have time to break them in (it wasn't needed anyways). Started my TMB hike with these straight out of the box. I was comfortable with them from day 1, felt just like my old ones. Love how my feet never touch the sides of the shoe nor the toe box, so no blisters regardless of how many intense hours I wear them. Hiked/backpacked TMB for 10 days of rocky alpine terrain and intense elevation changes, great traction, no complaints, just perfect.

I have tried other shoes for work and after a little bit my feet are killing me. These are the only shoes that I can wear all night with no issues. No need to break these in,you can put them on right out of the box.

I have one pair of hi-tops that I just use for hiking. The others I wear for walks and bike riding. These shoes are very comfortable, and the roomy box accommodates my old crooked toes very nicely. I love them!

Great for lifting weights and working out at the gym but also super comfortable to wear all day long.

This is my 5th pair of Altras over the years. They fit like the typical Lone Peak shoe. I've put about 15 miles on them so far and are exactly what I expected.

My doctor suggested this shoe as a possible solution to to some foot pain I have been having, and while everyone's feet are different, for me this shoe is perfect. I have kind of a wider front foot and a narrow heel (that sounds like I'm a duck). So for me, the combination of very good support, no slipping on the heel, with a flexible and roomy toe area, is ideal. They are cute too.

Altras are the BEST though I like the TIMPs the best, these are great, too it's like I've got wings on my feet and my knee pain virtually disappeared as soon as I put them on! I do some mountain trail running in the summer (up to about 14 miles at a time), and I run triathlon did my best race EVER last weekend, got 3rd in my age group (I'm 54) and top 4% of all women (including the 20 somethings). I plan to wear Altras forever!

I use these shoes for walking and for every day wear so far. They're comfortable and I love that my toes have lots of room to spread out.

I lover how comfortable these shoes are. I have a wide foot and have a lot of trouble finding women's shoes that fit. This shoe isnt a problem at all. Was perfect and super comfy, light but tough. I cant ask for a better shoe. I wish there were more wide sizes and shoes with the more square toe-box.

I RUN EVERYDAY AND HAVE BUNIONS ON MY FEET AND MY FOOT DOCTOR RECCOMENDED THESE SHOES,HER WHOLE OFFICE WEARS THEM AND THEY DONT HURT MY FEET AND ARE VERY COMFORTABLE TO RUN IN,LOVE THEM WILL BUY AGAIN!

I love these shoes and all other shoes that I have purchased from Altra. I had to order Wide because regular wasn't available - but I still love them.

Great for energetic walks, light hikes, exercise in general. Accommodates orthotics. This is my 2nd pair; I ordered a half size bigger as per recommendation of previous customers. I'm quite happy with my purchase.

I had some really expensive trail runners (the ON brand) and I felt like I was running in concrete molds and I was hating running; it felt more difficult than usual and I was feeling like I had lost my athleticism. With these Altras I realize my other shoes were not right for me and running is fun again! I love the wide toe box...this complements my yoga practice...I've been working to strengthen my feet and these shoes are perfect and don't get in the way of that. Great for flat land or inclined trails! Love!

Love these. Wish there was an all black, but this is close. They are great to take on a trip, because they can be used for around town and the trail. No need to pack multiple pairs of shoes.

I have been wearing Altra shoes for several year now and am so thankful that there is finally a shoe available in "wide" width. I have been buying a half size up to get the toe room I need for a wide forefoot. With the Lone Peak 5 I can buy my true size and width. These are perfect!

I've worn these for a week and love them. I do switch off to my other Crocs shoes halfway through my 12-hr shifts to prevent my feet from hurting (just in case they do). I expect my feet to hurt in shoes and I'm hoping these never hurt me. They are so wide which is awesome for my bunions! I can wear my toe spacers and my heel lift with lots of width and heel height left. also these are not made of animal products and that is the best!

These shoes were recommended to me by my son and I have to say they are perfect. I have a slightly wide foot and these are really roomy. Went on a 4-mile hike last week to test them out and they were awesome!
