Finally upgraded from my Trail Glove 4's. I wear a 9 in my 4's but got an 8.5 in these as most reviews said they run big. Length-wise, they're perfect. But the middle of my foot feels suffocated, they're way narrower than my old ones even with the laces loosened. Also, I do NOT like the arch support they added. I will likely return these and try the newer Trail Glove 7's.

Very narrow toe box! This creates hot spots on the sides of my feet and tingles the longer I run. Do yourself a favor and buy the TR7s instead.

Was super excited about these but they are way too narrow . My 9 year old couldn't even get her foot in them.

I bought size 6, but the shoes have very narrow width and are difficult to break in. I normally wear size 6 for the other pair of hiking shoes I recently bought. I probably won't buy this style of shoes in the future.

Comfortable. Fantastic design. Loved them. However, after 1 hike the bottom is peeling up in 2 spots!!! Super saddened by the lack of quality, because otherwise, these were a versatile and grey shoe.

I have lots of Merrell shoes and boots. The sizing is wildly different from model to model. These are minimalist shoes, but they became really uncomfortable after wearing them only a couple of full days. I don't have wide feet but they really rubbed and squeezed the outside of both feet. I don't expect cushioning in a barefoot style glove shoe but something more comfortable would still be appreciated. They look good and I like the colours and style. Won't be able to wear them as intended due to the discomfort.

I wanted to love these shoes. They are beautiful and vibrant for summer. They are just too narrow.

For some reason my knees start hurting after a walk so thinking the arch support is in the wrong place for my feet.. not the right shoe for me.

Honestly, your shoes feel completely different in the past year. The arch support is good though. I'm having a difficult time finding the right ones anymore.

I've owned these for close to six months now, not wanting to jump the gun on my review. The colors are gorgeous. The sole is great. Unfortunately, the fit just doesn't compare to previous versions. They're much too narrow (to the point of being difficult to put on) and have not stretched at all. I find myself bypassing them and reaching for my older pair instead.

I bought a pair of Trail Glove 6 a year ago and I find them so uncomfortable. I have owned every Trail Glove since the first style made in 2011. I have a big issue with the way the panel on the inside of the foot that attaches to the laces sets right at the big toe bone, causing pain in my bunion. I wish I had returned these when I first bought them. I can only manage to wear them for a hour or so and can't do any serious walking in them. I noticed that new Trail Glove 7 doesn't have the same issue with lacing panel on the inside of the foot. I hope I am seeing that correctly on the Trail Glove 7 and would appreciate some feedback from Merrell.

I was super excited to get these because I love a lighter hiking shoe. Sad to say, these are just way too narrow. I even went half a size up, loosened the laces as much as possible, and could still barely get my foot inside. So disappointed - please make a wider version of this shoe!

I LOVED my old trail gloves. Most comfortable shoes I owned - literally wore holes in them from so much use. These are a totally different shoe. The toe box is narrow and does not give toes any room to move - not a true barefoot shoe, heck, not even a normal B width in a trainer. Merrell, why?! Give me my old shoes back!!! You lost a customer. They may be cuter but they're so uncomfortable.

These unfortunately had to go back. They were much narrower than previous versions of this shoe.

I have the trail glove 5 and LOVE them! wore them out and thought to get the newest version however, the trail glove 6 has given me such painful shin splints. After 2 months of breaking them in, I've resorted to using my old pair of trail 5 as the 6 keep causing pain :(

Not the same as the previous trail glove. This one fit too narrow for my foot. Keep in mind though, it is a great shoe (I have had trail gloves for a number of years) but just too narrow for me. I have bunions and odd shaped feet. I will have to find something wider.

I read the reviews and thought maybe people are just being negative, but it's true the shoe is very narrow not a wide toe box at all. I typically wear vivobarefoot shoes but wanted a cheaper option, and they do not feel like barefoot shoes at all. The shoe is very cute I want to give them a chance so I am going to try and stretch them.

The style looks great. However, it has changed so much since version 2 and 3. It is beyond narrow. I could barely get it on. The mid foot is squeezed so tight, and the toe box is very narrow. I will have to go with another brand. Sadly, had to return these. Merrell, please bring back version 2 style.

Very disappointed in the Trail glove 6, these were a no go for me and I returned them. I have the Trail glove 4's that I have worn for years and they had become very beat up looking. I wanted to replace them with a new pair. Unfortunately I could see immediately when I took these out of the box, they would not work for me. The Trail gloves have been updated and not in a good way. The toe box has become much narrower and the arch support is more aggressive. I loved the 4's because they were a transitional minimal issue. The toe box was wide enough for me to not feel that my toes were being cramped and squished, the arch support was there but not overly noticeable, theere was no toe spring, the vibram sole was great for traction. Overall these were a great everyday shoe, hiking shoe, short trail run shoe. So versatile and not overly clownish looking as some barefoot shoes can be. Wish I could another pair of Trail Glove 4's.

Nice shoe but not sized well. This shoe is very long! I've worn a 7.5 in merrell for many years and just expected this to fit as all of them do. It's about an inch too long.

So cute, but arch support is weirdly placed towards the front of the shoe and the shoe has a very narrow toe box.

These shoes just arrived this afternoon and as soon as I opened the box I could tell they were used. I bought new shoes not used and don't appreciate being sent a pair of shoes that has clearly been worn and then returned.

The arch in this shoe is very uncomfortable. As soon as I put them on I immediately noticed how not only uncomfortable they are but they were actually hurting my feet as I started walking around in them. Everything else is fine and no complaints but whatever Merrell did to change the arch in their shoes is not good. They should go back to their original design/shoe.

I read in the reviews that these were narrow. Well my foot if FAR FROM WIDE! What a joke, I'm honestly done buying anymore Merrill shoes. It's a pain to even TRY to put them on, even with opening the shoe laces very loose. So this is the second pair I can't wear.
