The overall shoe is nice and sizing is perfect. But for my planters fasciitis I'd prefer a shoe with better support

I expected them to be a little beefier. These were my first Hoka's ever. My friend told me if I was looking more "beef" I should've gone with the Bondi style. But I didn't know any better. Oh what the heck, they were on sale/clearance, so I didn't waste too much dough. It was a good learning experience. My next purchase will be Bondi style. And I won't be a cheapskate. I'll be happy to pay full price.

I am a 5.5 fit on Nike, Adidas and UnderArmour so I opted for a 5.5 on this Mach 5. I was thrilled coz it will be my 1st pair of Hoka. So when the product arrived tried it immediately running and walking. At first I don't feel any discomfort but when I used it for my 12hr duty that is when the problem seemed to be noticeable. The sole is perfect and very comfortable however the fitting on the toes was off, it became like narrower overtime and at the end of my shift my feet will feel sore. I was thinking of returning the product but since I brought it on sale I am hesistant. But the comfort it provides on the sole area is great. Maybe if there is an option for 0.5 size bigger or wider one it will definitely will be one of the best shoes I will have.

Love the Profly sole and perfect light weight; provides excellent cushioning and bounce. Lacking adequate arch support and the width is a bit too small for my fit.

The shoe has awesome padding in the heel area. Makes you feel like your are walking on clouds. It is a smaller fit so go up about a half size. The inside of shoe by toe area disappointed me as it has glue or staples to hold the bottom together to the fabric. It is bothersome so I don't even wear them

my large toe is rubbing tight against the end of the shoe. I ordered a ten and one half because my shoe size is a nine and one half to ten, some what uncomfortable,.

The overall construction of my Mach 4's is solid, and they appear well manufactured with quality components. However as a springy neutral runner, they just aren't for me. I can do short sprints or very short warm ups with them, but I have other shoes for that so I just don't wear these much. Since purchasing these I have found stability runners I prefer from a different brand and I just don't wear these much. Not great for standing all day or really anything beyond some short quick runs which I don't do in these. Not bad just not for me.

Upper quality and aesthetics are great!! Size seems to run small?? I am one month into these and can't decide if I should have returned them to size up 1/2. It's actually the toe width that seems tight and I am a 125lb narrow foot neutral runner so that is a first for me. Heel cup is great. I have been running in zero drop shoes for about 10 years but have 2 torn meniscus so trying these to give a little more cushion. With my weight I think it will take a bit for the cushion to wear in as I don't see a difference between this and my Saucony Freedom's yet. I am also concerned about long term wear with the lightweight blown outsole design. It seems like it will wear quickly and my friends who have had the shoe tell me I won't get a lot of miles out of it. I am light enough I hope they are wrong. I would love to see a similar offering from Hoka with a zero drop or at least less than 4mm.

Great shoes imo just tough for me and other family members to nail down a size. Found ourselves having to do a lot of back and forth ordering and returning and reordering. Most tennis shoes don't normally have this kind of a sizing issue. But when you get the right fit they're great shoes that last a long time

Although size was accurate. Comfort level was a disappointment. I’ve purchased 6 or 7 Hoka One One at recommendation of my orthopedic surgeon This is the only pair that soft stable support was lacking

I'm keeping these shoes because I love the color and Ive heard a lot about Hoka. I've had them a week and haven't worn them yet. However, it's evident someone wore these prior to my receiving them. The soles are covered in black as if worn on a street or parking lot, the laces were not arranged like any new shoe Ive seen and the packaging was sub par. Were these returned shoes repackaged? Who knows but I hope Zappos doesn't condone that practice.

These HOKAs were way too narrow in the toe box, so I ordered 1/2 size longer and it was still too narrow in the toe box. Even though these are "standard" width, they run way too narrow for most and there is no widening of the shoe in the toe box area. If I had really narrow feet I probably would have really liked these shoes.

I'm sure these are fine for some but not for me. Soles have seem to have worn down pretty quickly and have knee pain when I run with these. I'll be sticking w the NB 880s from now on

Disappointed in the touted energy return. The cushioning is average and return was sluggish. The soles are loud and The outer material and soles are well designed. I especially like to laces as they grip well. Wearing them on my recovery runs. Definitely will not count on it as my main go-to.

I couldn't even get the shoe on. I have never had this issue with any brand, it felt odd and not even worth trying. Ended up going with Brooks Ghost 14 instead.

The Mach 4 has been by far my favorite Hoka of all time. I've run in several pairs, all the same size. But the last pair I bought - same size (but a different color) - was slightly smaller in feel than the others and started to bruise my toe. I tried to make it work for a few weeks but ended up returning them. Not sure what happened.

Great product and well built. Got knocked out of commission shortly after purchase so didn't get a timely test. I wear a 13D in virtually every shoe I own. This 13D is snug and short. I would buy up a half size unless you like your toe right at the end of the shoe. Zero wiggle room. Not sure on the width but livable if the length had some play.

Bought these as an everyday trainer. The shoes are soft and bouncy but they're too narrow in the toe box area. Seem like Hoka has been making their shoes narrower recently. Hoping the shoes stretched after a few more run. Otherwise I won't be using them on longer runs
