I have a high arch, and step in under pronation. The shoe was supposed to be neutral, but it isnt. It hurts. Cant use it.

The color is on point and amazing. Sadly, these shoes are killing my feet. I have worn Hokas for the past 5 years or so, and have been in love with them. Hokas saved my feet when plantar faciitis was keeping me from working out. I have worn several different styles of Hokas so decided to try the Mach 4 because I loved the color. My feet start hurting as soon as I start walking, and I can't go far before I have to stop due to the pain. I'm not sure why these are hurting my feet so much. I have worn them so I can't return them which is a bummer.

the mach shoe started out feeling great, more firm then other hoka models which I liked. But after two months (not running just wearing to work) they became soft and spongy which then hurt my feet. So the durability of the soles is in qustion which is what I belive some shoe reviewers have eluded to in their reviews of hoka's in general.

I bought this shoe due to the amount of praise it had from reviews. At first I thought I would love the shoe, but after only 30 miles, just two weeks of running, It feels like I'm running bare foot and my feet always ache afterwards! I've never had this problem with any other running shoes. The shoes also show a significant amount of wear on the soles for such short mileage! I question the durability of this shoe and how long they will hold up! Not a good impression for my first pair of Hokas! Probably be my first and my last pair!

The shoe looks great and feels light. However, the heel support is not quite what I was expecting. I was a bit surprised based on the fact that the cushion of the sole was promoted so heavily.

I'm a huge fan of the Clifton 6. I don't like the Clifton 7's at all so I ordered this to try it. Put them on out of the box and put them right back in the box. Felt flat and unsupportive.

The shoe is very light and comfortable but the website suggests choosing your normal size, which is a size 10 for me, and these are tight even prior to running.

Hoka...you've been around for how long and still don't know how to engineer an anatomically appropriate toebox width...I am actually curious to how and why you make your shoes so narrow?? A quick Google search will show you human feet don't go straight up from the heel but rather splay wider away from the ankle.
