I purchased this shoe on Hoka One One as a back up to my Clifton 8 pair and did I ever get a surprise when taking them out of the box. I knew immediately that they were not going to fit and upon trying one on I was correct. The problem was the narrow width especially at the toe box. My normal size is 10 D or 10.5 if it is a shoe with a narrower width. As you can see this model doesn't offer a wider width and after reading reviews on both the Hoka site and on Amazon I didn't believe I was going to need them but had I known I would have either dropped this selection or try them in a 10.5 but I don't think that would have remedied the problem because with the shoe in hand I could see they were quite narrow. Because the shoe was on sale I had to eat the shipping fee but Hoka was good enough to pay for the return shipping so I only had to pay $8.95 to try these on. I haven't purchased a wide shoe in ages and I wear mostly Hoka brand so BUYER BEWARE! If you have a slightly wide foot at the toe box take a pass on this model and you will save yourself the grief of returning them. Hoka One One failed to print my negative review so I am hoping tha Zappos will to eliminate anyone else the frustration of trying this otherwise nice looking shoe. Cheers.

Mine lasted less than 250 miles. will not buy again

Definitely not worth the hype. I bought these shoes as a recommendation from my foot and ankle doctor. After a short while, the treads are already worn out (the shoes squeak when I walk), and the inside fabric around the ankles is wearing out and exposing the plastic on the inside of the shoe. I would say overall they are poor quality.

I got blisters

There was a gigantic stain on the front of the shoe! I’m really bummed.

I've worn Hokas for more than 10 years. I've had 8 or 9 pair of them. The interior heel of these shoes wore out in 5 months of only walking a treadmill. Very disappointed. Contacted Hokas and was pushed back to Zappos. Love the shoes... but VERY disappointed in how fast they failed. :-(

They run too small and too narrow. Not only that but they don’t offer wider widths!

These shoes run extremely small. I exchanged the first pair for 1/2 size bigger and they were still tight. They run very narrow and only come in one width. I do not ever need a wide shoe, I am regular width. Also I am a consistent Mens 9/Womens 11 except for this shoe.
