I purchased my shoes about 1 month ago from the site, after about a week the rubber from the sole started separating, I tried contacting the company and was not able to reach anyone, I was really disappointed, because other than poor customer service, the shoes are very comfortable other than when I walk the rubber that's loose, pulls away.

After wearing these for a while I had aching arches. And heal pain. I'm going to try getting some inserts to see if it helps.

I really like HOKA's but was disappointed by these shoes. Not nearly enough cushioning that I usually have with HOKA's . The fit is ok but just not as comfortable for running.

Ran a little small and weren't that comfortable overall. I also didn't end up liking the all black look. I ended up getting the newest version of the Arahi's which I like a lot more.

Wear for standing and walking. Have had 2 other hokas pairs and were very comfortable. These are not and we're very expensive.

I have major feet issues and I find that after wearing these out for a day that my feet were not comfortable- I also have a pair of Bondi 7 and find them much better suited to my feet.

I have heel discomfort whenever I'm doing exercise , especially running & sprinting.
I love the shoes , but I think perhaps I got the wrong model. Gaviota doesn't have thick , soft , bouncy soles that would give me support during impact. I tried 3x and since the sole is hard , my heel is not happy.
I had to return it unfortunately.

Wore out two pairs of Gaviota 2's. The 3's aren't as stable in my opinion and I don't like the way they lace up. The tongue doesn't lay smooth.
Still a good shoe but I'd skip the 3's and go for the 4's.

These shoes are so comfortable. I think I must have gotten a bad pair. The treads on the soles started to come loose. I had to start gluing them back on after about 2 weeks. I would have sent them back except I already threw the box away.

I tried Gaviota for a week and returned it. Just not my style or feel. Too heavy and too stiff. I much prefer my Clifton and Arahi styles.

My first pair lasted two years before they started to show signs of breaking down. Mind you, I only use them as everyday walking shoes, not for long distance running on roads. They are wonderful for working retail, warehouse/factory assembly lines, and health care work (all of which I did in that first pair). I bought this pair since they were on sale and since they were wide. That first pair wore out through the sides first, so wide fit seemed like a good way to extend their life even further. However, after barely a month, this pair already has parts peeling off the heel and sides. The wide fit is great but I'm a bit disappointed they're already falling apart. Also, even though the banner at the top of the website says free shipping and returns, I was charged for shipping, which is more than a bit irritating. I'll definitely be buying more in the wide fit and hope this pair was just a dud. But at over $140 a pair (even on sale), it's quite an expensive dud.

They are 'out of the box' comfortable, and very supportive in the heel for pronators. No complaints there. The vamp material has little horizontal ventilation slits, which probably is designed to keep feet cool, but one of these slits tore into a bit of a hole after just a few wears. I was disappointed, but figured it was not a deal breaker. Then, over the next couple weeks, more slits tore into little holes. I would definitely call it a design flaw. The photos were taken just now in late July, but the damage occurred only weeks into wearing them in February & March 2022. Pretty bummed. I expect at least a year of wear (about 600 miles) from hiking/walking shoes. Definitely will not buy this style again, but might try the other Hoka style for pronators if the vamp design is different.

I wore the Gaviota 2 for 2 years and was very happy with them. The Gaviota 3 is very different in fit and feel. The fabric upper is too stiff and causes a wrinkle or maybe it's too much fabric. Doesn't look or feel right. I ordered the Bondi 7 and it is perfect for me...much like the Gaviota 2. I returned the Gaviota 3.

The wide size did not fit like my ariah 6 so I exchanged for another Ariah-love those but wish the wide came in yellow

The different styles have different fits and this was not for me. It's also a bit confusing. The show is well made and Hoka has excellent customer service. I'll stick with my Bondi, I love them.

I love the shoes they're comfortable, have great arch support, and cushion. I only had the shoes for 28 days and the rubber outsole on the bottom of the shoe started to break off and I had to return them.

Theses shoes don't provide very good ankle support .
Feel comfortable when I first put them on but feet start to hurt after a hour of wear.

These didn't work for me. There just wasn't enough room in the toe box even though I purchased the wide version. Thankfully customer service and the return process was quick and painless.

I had my shoes for less than a month - loved them thought they were super comfortable. Then the bottom rubber started to come off. Very disappointed - when I contacted the company regarding this I was told I could return for a refund or get another pair. Ended up returning for a refund as my size not in stock and they aren't sure when it will be. Either way - not sure if I will purchase again.

Great help for my plantar fasciitis. But I paid $200 for these shoes and after only wearing the two days a week for six months inside the hospital the material across the top between the laces and toe have split. I am disappointed they didn't last longer.

I got my Gaviota 3 and today is my first day of trying it on. I can say that it's true to the size but as time flew by I feel like the shoes are compressing my feet. I don't know if it's because the shoes are new or I need to size up. The worst part is the shoes are making squeaky sounds when I walk. I'm giving the shoes a chance otherwise, I won't buy again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Gaviotta 2's but the 3's are not the same or better. They are very rigid. They slap on the ground with each stride. They set my shins off sadly.

The Gaviota was great until I noticed it break down and the arch fell. I could tell when walking they had broken down and no longer provided support. Very comfortable, great cushion, didn't last as long as I would have thought.

The shoes look great. I really liked the design and were perfect for work. I stay on my feet 7 hrs out 8 at work and unfortunately this tupe of shoes hurt my feet. They were too tough, not very flexible for my type of job. I returned them and exchanged them for a different kind. I love my Hookas now!!

I love the Gaviota 1 and 2, I am not a fan of the Gaviota 3. It is very disappointing when a change is made to such a good shoe.
