My favorite is the Arahi, more supportive for me. Too much cushioning.

It is very comfortable to walk in just a very big shoe overall.

The Gaviota 3 wears slightly different. In the 2's there wasn't a need to "break in" the shoe. The 3, however, feels slightly different in the heel when correcting over-probation. It's still an extremely lightweight and comfortable shoe-just slight differences between the designs. Overall would still recommend!

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

Poor SupportGreat Support
I had to send these back unfortunately , nothing wrong with the shoe but I can’t make this much cushion work for my joints. I need a stability shoe due to some pronation and an old ankle injury that leads to tendinitis if I’m not well supported, but unfortunately this is just too squishy and leads to a lot of knee / hip pain for me. The color way is awesome and they are comfortable to walk in but I would only be using for running and they’d collect dust.

I used to love Hoka because of their decent arch supports and comfort. Now I can't seem to find one I like. Arahi's don't enough enough arch, neither do Clifton, and then these are just too stiff and painful. They put a lot of pressure on the outer portion of the ball of my feet and within minutes cause pain.

I wish you will make a sole not way over to the shoe itself. I like hoka it's my 2nd purchased. I tried to wear it again even they're calling me a clown because of my height and wearing a 7.5 Shoe which was not match to my petite height. Just imagine McDonald walking with his big shoes but still love my shoes.

i walk 3-5 miles per day on average. my lower legs & hips were always in so much pain. after i found out i had pronated feet, i bought my first pair of hoka's. my very first walk not only was i able to walk pain free but my average pace per mile dropped by over 2 minutes. i felt like a little kid with new sneakers - you know, when the child says, i can run fast now mom! only issue is their a little too big even though i bought the same size in another model.

I have worn Hoka's for years and now they are so...wide in the heel-not sure why they redesigned them!!

I recently went to a local store and was fitted and bought the Gaviota 4and LOVE themI went to the Hoka website to buy another pair and noticed the Gaviota 3 was less expensive and since I just wanted a second pair decided to try them. I read on the site the 3 and 4 were basically the samewith only minor changes. That is NOT true (at least not for me). The 3 is smaller in the toe box and is tighter through out the body. I tried different socks (thinner) and tried running in the a few times and I can't wear themwhich is an unfortunate waste of money

I love Hokas. I'm a teacher and spend the money to stay comfy on my feet. Love, love and will continue to buy, but this last pair is only a month and a half old and I have super glued the sole back on in two places. I doubt they've been worn 15 times. I wear them to work - in a classroom. Disappointed for sure.

The shoes did not fit me right so I returned them. The shoes were brand new, I just tried them on and then returned. Hoka's warehouse received return on September 7. Today is September 24th and I haven't received return yet. I spoke multiple times with them over the phone, they are telling me that warehouse is big and they need time to find returned shoes. They told me to wait additional 5 business days yesterday. Very frustrating experience with returns.

Bought the shoe thinking it would be similar in cushion for foot injuries but the sole is much stiffer than Bundt but the interior is very plush and comfortable just not as helpful for folks with plantar fasciitis as the bondi.

This is my third pair of this shoe, however this pair had a defect in the heel. The padded material inside the heel cup keeps moving down so there is a lump at the bottom and none at the top. This is the padding behind the liner, you can feel it's placed there with adhesive and it does not stay. Any time I put my foot in it pushes it down. It makes the heel really uncomfortable. Guessing it's just a flaw on this pair, however, i will never get the shoe again if this is standard. Otherwise, I love the shoe.

I bought them to use when I'm working, because I have 12 hour shifts, and I have to be on my feet, but instead of helping the pain they have given me more pain in my knees and feet.

Good quality shoe, not excellent, which it should be for the price. No arch support, very flat insole, however, comfortable for around the house, not sure if I could go long distances with the shoe not having arch support. The shoe would be much better with a bit of an arch. Runs a bit large, my toe has too much room at the end, however the medium width feels good. The thicker/wider platform is helpful with stability.
I would be interested in trying a different style to see if that offers a better fit and some a bit of arch. The shoe looks cool and trendy if that is what you prefer.

Medical professional, long term, long shifts. Hoped these would help with the foot pain but hasn't really. Lot of hype, lot of money - didn't deliver for me.

It is not comfortable, the regular one that I always buy in other shoes is very tight, you have to buy it bigger and w. the staff for the return or exchange of the product is very rude and not recommended at all. I do not recommend this shoe company at all

I received these in the mail and love them! A week after wearing them I noticed that some of the tread was falling apart. I tried to exchange them online and am now stuck in this limbo of wanting to keep them because I like them but Hoka wants me to return them. I'm happy to return for a new pair but they are out of stock and I won't have anything else to wear to work if I return them and wait for a new pair to be delivered. It's impossible to get someone on the phone to speak to them about it also. So frustrating!

I work long hours on my feet and need great! This product failed to deliver on the extended hours part! Its great for short hours and if you are constantly moving and nor standing in one spot for periods of time. Its very hard and not a foamy feeli love the heel because it gives a boost in impact but for me the shoe is very light which is a plus but the shoe is not soft at all and comes across as very hard
