Returned them as they seemed too short and not wide enough.

I originally ordered the 8 1/2 Wide, but it was too wide and I returned it. I ordered the 8 1/2 regular and it was not long enough--my toes hit the end of the shoe, unlike with the 8 1/2 Wide.

I’ve worn ASICS in the same size and width for many years, and these run short and narrow! I’d have to go up a half size to make them fit.

These are well made and supportive shoes, and the price was great. Unfortunately, even ordering a half size larger, they pinched and crunched my toes. They were actually painful to wear. I tried them for about a week and then went back to New Balance. Perhaps the toe box is narrow; wish they'd been a better fit.

Great sneaker but runs small. Had to return it. I will take a look at some other brands, but will probably go back to Asics and order a larger size.

Unfortunately these shoes were the correct size that I ordered, but they felt much smaller, tighter all around and includes the narrow toe box.

I tried to like these, I felt they were heavy when out on our walks. I didn’t notice enough support , kept sliding in the heel area

I've been buying ASICS for about ten years for walking, doing the elliptical and general workouts. I don't run. I've always liked the fit and support. I had to replace a pair of GT 1000s that were a few years old when I started having foot pain a few months ago. I got a pair of Gel Excite 7s and a pair of Brooks Launch 8s in 10.5 M , neither of which feel the same to me as the GT 1000s in 10 M. Back in 2016 I got a pair of Gel Contend 4s that I liked so much I got a second pair to put away. I still have that pair, a size 10 M, and I went back to them and they still felt better than the two new pairs. So I figured maybe I'd try the Gel Contend 7. I ordered 10.5 M and cannot believe how tight they are. I would need an 11 to keep them. Don't know what's going on with ASICS, but I don't have this problem with regular shoes. Maybe's it the lower price point and I need to try pricier styles at a local ASICS store. Sad, because they've been so comfortable until now. Will have to keep looking.

I purchased a half size up, but with socks it was still a little small.

Runs very narrow for my usual size. Unable to determine comfort due to inability to get the shoe on...seems a bit heavy and stiff

This was my favorite ASIC tennis shoe. They changed the back of the shoe and the padding is so thick it digs into heel and my socks shift down when wearing. Bring the old heel back please!

If you have wide feet would not recommend the wide fit. Ordered wide size and was still very narrow.

This shoe runs ridiculously small. I have pretty narrow feet and it's nice and snug but I am (trying) to do a second exchange since size 9 of this shoe is smaller than my current size 8.5 shoes!

I just got back from walking a little over a mile in these and they are way too small and I ordered a half size larger than my usual size which has always worked for me with other brands. When I first tried them on I thought they would be ok but once I got outside and really started moving I realized I’m not going to have the extra room I need in the length to keep my toes from jamming against the end of the shoes. They are also very narrow for a medium width shoe. I have really narrow feet and these are snug in the toe box. I’ll keep them for short walks but won’t be wearing them again for any type of power walking or running.

I wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8 so I could use orthotic inserts. WIthout even putting in my inserts my toe hit the end of the shoe! Way, way too small!

What happened to sizing between the Contend 6 and Contend 7? Had to return and will try half a size up and a wide. Didn't have this issue with the 6s.

My feet and arches are very particular. The overall comfort was not good for me.

I always wear 8.5 asic sneakers. For some these are too tight.

This asics shoe is at least 1/2 a size smaller than all my other asics. After wearing indoors for 30 mins, I got a blister between my toes. I would love to return but unfortunately I threw the box away assuming that it would fit like all my other asics.

These shoes run a 1/2 size too small and that bums me out. I have been wearing ASICS for 20 years and have never had to order a different size. It is one thing that I could always count on, until now. I ordered these shoes to arrive before a trip I am taking and now I don't have time to reorder them in time for my trip. SUPER disappointed about that. I wear a 10.5 and I can't go into a store and find a pair of 10.5 shoes. Now I have to wear shoes that are going to give me shin splints. This is on ASICS and not Zappos. Zappos is wonderful, as usual (they are on the slowly shrinking list of things I can always count on!).

I normally wear a women’s 9.5 US, sometimes a 10. i ordered a 9.5 Wide. My toes were jammed against the front of the shoe, and I actually looked at the box and tag to make sure a wide width had been sent (it had). So I found this shoe runs quite small and had to send them back. it’s a shame, because I liked the style and materials.
