Took half a size larger than usual but still was too small

The color is definitely brighter in person than in the photos. The shoes are snug but not overly so, but I ordered the wide width and they fit like a regular. I can feel the sole on the instep of my foot. I’m on my feet all day at work, so I will be returning them. I have used other ASICS models for running and like those a lot.

Beautiful shoes, but my feet feel squished in my usual B width. I'm going to try the wide version and see how that goes

I had to return the first pair I ordered because the length and width were too short. I upped the size a full size and the width to wide, and they are heaven.

I had to return my first pair bcuz they were too small. So I had to go a size up. My sister said this is normal for this brand. I did have to take the time to undo the shoe laces and loosen them up to my liking. If I didn’t take the time to do this my foot wouldn’t have fit, & I would had to return them. I also work at a distribution center (warehouse), work 12 hours on my feet, and these made my feet feel good and light.

I ordered 8 1/2 W, the shoe was wide enough but the heel and ankle area are very high and rubbed. So sorry, these are going back.

Fit was nice- a tad stiff but that will ease. Design and colors are great.

I have never worn ASICs before. Glad I have discovered them. I spent a lot of time reading reviews before I purchased these shoes. I wanted walking shoes that are lightweight, easy to wear, with good support and had soles that gripped well. These ASICs matched what I needed. Length-wise, these are perfect. I typically wear US 9.5 (KEENs etc.), and occasionally US 10. I got the 9.5 in these ASICs and they fit well. I either wear very light, thin socks or I don't wear socks at all. They feel a little narrower than a D width. I have bunions on one foot and these seem narrower, than, for example, my KEEN Presidio Ii Casual Sneaker. That being said, they are comfortable. The upper material is a mesh fabric so there is plenty of give. I wear them solely for working out, walking/running between 30 mins and 1 hour at a time, for up to 2 hours per day. The fabric uppers are breathable and so don't get too hot. The soles have a good grip/traction. I also use them on an indoor Glider and my feet feel secure, with a good grip on the pedals. I like how these ASICs Gel Contend-7 look. I bought them in French Blue and Champagne which seem elegant. I wouldn't mind wearing them as casual, non-workout shoes either... except, of course, walking/running shoes were what I need and currently, are all I wear them for.

I’ve only been wearing this for about a week now. They feel a bit tight, which I’m sure will change. Not as comfortable as I would have liked. But I didn’t spend as much as I usually do.

I have many Asics sneakers all size 7. These 7s were very short and the medium width too snug. Not wearable for me.

Ordered ASICS Gel-Contend® 7 online, first time doing so. The shoes seem to be constructed well. I was surprised that the arch support was minimal. I ordered a size 8 which will work fine, but should have ordered 8 1/2...they are a wee bit too small, but just barely so. Width is excellent. If you are on the 'cusp' of a size I'd recommend ordering two and shipping one back. Overall I'm satisfied.

The shoe feels small for the size. Toe box is wide.

I have owned GEL-Contend shoes in the past and these are very similar. I have high arches and underpronation and they are very comfortable and supportive. The gray color in the sheet rock/pink salt is somewhat darker than the picture shows, but still attractive.

The shoe in this size didn’t fit the same as another Asics style I tried on in this same size. The one I tried on was in black, I didn’t want black so thought this other style would fit the same. Wrong. I liked this color better but won’t work so guess I will have to settle for black in other style. All other colors are sold out in my size. This shoe is very pretty. The Asics Gel Venture 8 has a much better arch.

For the price, this is a nice shoe, but it definitely runs small! I usually take a 9, but need the 9.5. Returning these and trying the larger size. Nice cushioning though. Toe box also runs narrow. I have narrow feet, but like the wider toe box.

Unfortunately, the shoes were to small. My bad!! I loved the color combo. I had to return but was able to buy another size one 1/2 size bigger. Darker grey with lilac accents..great style and fit!

It's really comfortable but the "wide" size just felt narrower than previous Asics I've worn :(

Style was nice To short and tight Going back

Shoe was too small, it was suggested that I buy a 9 1/2, so I did. Not as comfortable as the Brooks that I normally buy.

Asics have always been the shoe I can depend on to fit, however the left shoe was too short, while the right one fit perfectly. I am exchanging this pair in hopes that this was a manufacturing error.

Ordered a 10W. Could barely get it onto my foot. Great eye appeal but so disappointed they didn't fit!

So badly wanted these to work out, but they ran to small and very narrow. Wish it would have worked out.
