I love my old Glycerins but these are so uncomfortable. Tight toe. Weird fit. ???

After running through 2 pairs of 18?s, the best shoe ever! and the only shoe that didn?t cause my toes to go numb and gave me no feet or knee trouble, I thought I?d try the 19?s. What a waste of money! The toe box has changed and back to numbness. Why change such a good thing Brooks? Now I can?t find another 18 in my size. Back to square one. So disappointing.

I have loved Glycerins for years. They took me from barely running 3 miles to a BQ. These are completely different. The toe box is way too small and the overall feel is completely different. Sadly, I am in the hunt for a new running go-to.

I have been a glycerin fanatic since the 11. They majorly changed this design and I could not be more upset. Not only is the horizontal length way shorter but the vertical depth, from top of foot to bottom, is way narrower! The nice wide toe box that made these shoes is gone and the new design does not work at all. I have a painful arthritis nodule on the top of my foot that won?t even allow me to walk comfortably in this shoe now. I run 35-50 miles per week so this had to find an alternate. I tried to size up a whole size but that didn?t work. I went with the ghost but am still not satisfied as the toe box is way too roomy and the cushion I need is just not there. I?m nervous with the 20 design because the employee at the running store told me there is going to be a whole new style for that design too. So bummed.

Huge issues! The left shoe feels smaller than the right shoe? Toe box on both is squished. Defective! Not comfortable at all. Not like any brooks I have ever tried on. I bought these to match a few outfits I have including a Brooks matching running set: the carbonite tights, vest, shorts, tank same color set. But-these are not comfortable to wear at all even in the house. I have worr Brooks for many marathons and Ironmans. These are awful but cute colors! Sadness!!

I've been buying brooks glycerin since the 13s were out. So i asked for a new pair because my 17s (that I bought 3 pairs of in different color) were getting worn out. I got the new 19s for Christmas and I was so excited to go for a run with my new shoes. After wearing them for a short time around the house I was so disappointed and sad because I felt like I just wasted my husband's money on these shoes. My toes went numb and i can't wear them. They are the worst shoe I have ever put on my feet. Now I need to find a new shoe that matches up the 17s. Brooks why did you change these shoes into this horrbile design? Bring back the old model please.

I've worn Glycerin for probably 10 years. They have been reliable and consistent. However this new model is completely different and a huge let down. Cushioning is different, the toe box is extremely narrow, and the shoe cause a lot of foot and leg pain. Thankfully I was able to return them. I hope Brooks being back the original shoe design.

I have had at least one pair of Glycerin (if not more) every year for over 15 years. These are by far the worst. The shoe is too short and makes the ball of my foot cramp. This is the only Brooks heel that has given me blisters and pushes on just the right area of my Achilles tendon to make my foot go numb sometimes. Very Disappointed. Makes me look for a different brand of running shoe for the first time in years.

Also not a huge fan of these. My previous glycerins were a fuller shoe. This shoe is taking a while to break in and the fit is very small!!!

A completely different shoe than previous versions of the Glycerin. Toe box is narrow and sizing is off. Sent back and rethinking of changing brands.

I just ordered a new pair of 19?s. Not sure how the same shoe I already have can feel so different. So snug!! Literally makes my entire foot cramp. I feel like it is at least a whole size too small.

The shoes are cute and felt comfortable at first. I bought them to use at work. I have a history of plantar fasciitis. I?m in healthcare and I?m on my feet for 12 hour shifts. These sneakers actually caused my foot pain to increase. I stopped wearing them and now my feet don?t hurt anymore. I went to a podiatrist and he said he couldn?t believe that Brooks made such an unsupportive pair of sneakers. He basically called them glorified flip flops. I would not recommend these.

I've been running and walking in Glycerins for years. Some models are more comfortable than others but this was the most uncomfortable. They are too short. My toes are cramped in the front and I got a blister on one of my heels. Unfortunately, these will have to go back. I found the Glycerin 18 to be more comfortable with a longer toe box.

This shoe is very attractive and fit so well on my slender foot. However after wearing for just a very brief time my toes and knees started hurting. I think this is an unusual design. Rocker? It husrt at the toe and I realized I could not wear this shoe for the three miles a day that I walk. Guess Im back to Niki which I really didnt want to do.

These aren’t far the worst Brookes I’ve ever purchased . I am a nurse in a busy ED and I’ve worn Brooks for years. Either Zappos sent me a knock off shoe or the quality of Brooks is declining. Very dissatisfied

I have been running in Glycerins since 2014. The last few models have a significantly smaller toe box, are more narrow, and the 19 is by far the worst. I am so disappointed that the newer models are nothing like the older models that were so comfortable.

I am so disappointed. I ordered the same size as the prior model, and walking around the house, they were fine, but in a run, my toes were incredibly painful. They are deceptively large, when they are in actuality slightly smaller than the prior version. Unfortunately, I tried the other pair, so cannot return either. Huge $ wasted.

I've worn Glycerins for over nine years. I always got size 7 normal. In these shoes I'm a 7.5 wide... go back to your old shoes or recommend me a new company :( the adrenaline's don't have enough support and wear out after 3 months. This shoe was that bad I had to get Adrenalines. Just go back to 2015-2016. Designs and make were better.

I?ve had to return my latest Glycerin 19 purchase because of the fit. They are much too narrow and are too short. I?ve worn the Glycerin for many years, and my last two or three purchases have been so disappointing. I?m hoping Brooks will return to making this shoe comparable to the old Glycerin 17. Still wearing them!

Do not fit like old glycerins. Read other reviews and trust them before you buy

the shoes were not even - and I had read another review to this effect and thought it was just a one off. But you could smell the disinfectant in the shoes - they had been returned - probably for same complaint

So disappointed. I?ve worn Glycerins in the past for distance running and the 19 is disappointing. These are much more narrow in the toe box and for the first time ever wearing Glycerins, I got a blister on my toe. It will be awhile before I wear Glycerins again.
