The sole on these sneakers is a joke. There’s only a thin coating over basic foam which chips/peels off like nail Polish if you scuff it against anything. I’ve only worn these a half dozen times max. Around the house, to the hair dressers, grocery shopping and visiting friends. Always on dry surface. Love the style but what a disappointment. Definitely not buying this brand again. I’m shocked by positive reviews.

I am definitely in the minority with the rating I am giving these shoes. But, I have never worn a more uncomfortable pair of shoes. Wore them around the house for a day to break them in. I noticed a pain developing in my heal by the end of the day, which turned into excruciating pain when I worn them on a long walk the next day...my doctor said it was likely plantar fasciitis...thanks Brooks. It took me a several weeks of targeted stretching to get rid of it. I went back to wearing New Balance and haven't had anymore issues. The weird thing, both of the Brooks shoes sit differently when placed on a flat surface. One heal is definitely lower.

Soooo disappointed that brooks changed the glycerin 19. I’ve been a loyal glycerin girl for over 12 years. But these are much shorter in length, more narrow in the toe box and more shallow/flat on top. Hoping brooks ditches these changes for glycerin 20, but I’m returning the 19’s?

These run small in length and the size wide was pretty narrow. Had to send them back. Please make them in extra wide!

I've been a LOYAL Glycerin devotee for YEARS! I buy new pairs every few months, but the changes made to the Gylcerin 19 have made it a different shoe entirely. the tow box is more narrow, the length feels different, overall it's extremely uncomfortable - something i never thought I'd say. I'm going to visit a local store to try some other Brooks styles but overall the Glycerin 19 is a BiG MISS. I'm extremely disappointed. Please bring back the old styles!

Will be returning unfortunately. Ordered the same size I?ve worn in my other glycerins and they are too small.

The shoes I bought tear up the back of my ankle I spent a lot of money on those but someone threw the box away or I would send it back

I've been buying Glycerin since 2016, and these are my sixth pair. I'm sorry to say they might be my last. They felt cushy but a little tight when I tried them on, but I thought they'd break in over time. No such luck - they're still tight (and narrow) and have rubbed my heels raw. I'm really disappointed because I've been very happy with this shoe for years and at this price I now have an expensive and useless new pair of shoes and no easy replacement since there's not a new model out.

Far narrower (especially in the toe box) than previous models I have been wearing them for many years and now need to find a different style.

I have been a loyal Glycerin purchaser for years. The new 19s are so much more narrow through the toe box that my toes fell asleep in the first mile (and I have narrow feet). So disappointed. Had to return both pairs. Now I?m heartbroken because alternating between the Glycerin and Ghost helped keep my feet in excellent health. Now I?m back to trying to find a new shoe.

I have been a loyal glycerin 17 user for awhile. This was a totally different shoe. Gone is the roomy toe box and upper. These made my feet hurt and sore. I am a neutral wearer with need for cushioning and decent arch support. I'd order a full size up if you want to try these 19's out!! Not for me.

I bought the wide width, as I have with previous Glycerin shoes and it was too narrow. I returned it. Very disappointing.

I really don?t like the glycerin 19. It was very uncomfortable and hurt my feet. I?ll be returning it. I only wear glycerin when running, I love the 17 and 18.

When I put the shoes on they felt magical, but after a mile on the treadmill the balls of my feet hurt so bad I had to stop ?

The sizing was very off. Going up a full size, the shoe was still too small (length), going up another half size, shoe was loose and my ankle felt unstable. I love my Brooks ghosts but the sizing on these are off. Wanted to like them but returned and went back to another brand for higher my cushioned shoe

Runs very narrow. Even bought the wide but was sent the medium. Got an actual wide and they are still barely wide enough and I don?t have wide feet.

I have 2 pair of the Glycerin 19 bought last year and I still love them. I bought two pair this year and both the same-narrow in the toe box with short shoe strings that couldn't be loosen up enough to tie. I have worn Brooks for years. I am 76 and practically live in my sneakers for comfort and support. I tried Hoka's and love them. Maybe if enough people feel the same way Brooks will go back to making the shoe I came to love.

This shoe has not met my expectations since Glycerin 14. Liked that shoe so much that, luckily, purchased 3 pairs. The fit and the style of Glycerin since then have not been worth keeping. Some wearers, like me, want color choices too, not just trim color. I don't buy these to wear to fine dining. I like fun, attractive shoes for the other times. And they've gotta be comfortable, light, with support and cushioning. When my feet strike a hard surface that's the kind of shoe I need.

The shoes arrived used with dirty soles and gravel in the treads. I understand people return things, but these were very clearly worn about and then shipped out to the next person. Disappointing as I have this shoe in other colors and enjoy it, but I refuse to pay $150 for used shoes.

1/2 size too short. Not the same fit or cushion as the glycerin 17.

Moved to this shoe from the Ghost 13. I wish I had stuck with the Ghost 13 as these hurt my feet and make my toes numb. They have little to no support. I have tried to make them work, but after two months they are still uncomfortable and my toes are numb after wearing them on hills. Bummer. I though I would be upgrading. Still love my Ghost 13s though.
