Shoe is obviously redesign. New fit has no cushion on the ball of the foot and tends to roll quite a bit. Very disappointing, I have worn this model for years and loved it till now.

I have only wore glycerins since 2011 when I first started running. These 19?s left blisters on my back heels. Not sure what they did to the design but they are going to be returned.

I?m a true 6.5 and this was the smallest shoe I ever tried on. I couldn?t believe Brooks messed up that bad with shoe sizing. It felt very stiff and hard not like their most cushion shoe is supposed to be.

I order the same size every time, this pair was to narrow & hurt. Sent them back.

I wanted to love these shoes - and tried - but they aren't comfortable at all for me. The length and width seem fine, but my toes go numb and the fit across the top feels too snug, even if I loosen the laces. I will likely return them.

I have been running in Brooks for years. These are the worst pair I have ever had. They are very tight and uncomfortable. They blister my feet and run on every surface. I tried to find older models to replace my new ones but can?t so I have to switch brands.

I had bought several of these over the years but this one made my feet numb and hurt. They feel tighter as well. I don't know they did differently on this shoe than in the past but I do hope they go back to the way they made them prior to this change. Also, the shoelaces are way too long and keep coming undone, not ideal when on a run. I addressed this issue with the company and they did sort it out and I am grateful.

I have worn Brooks shoes for many years. They have the room I need for my toes. I bought the Glycerin 19 in a size 12 and they?re too small!! I used to wear a size 11 but now even the size 12s doesn?t fit me!

Why did Brooks change this shoe? The #18 version is much more comfortable in the wide width. I need a wide toe box. This is NOT "wide", as it claims. Wish I could return it and buy the #18 pair. Really disappointed in this shoe's tight toe box.

This has been the worst pair of brooks ever. There is a hard piece in my left back ankle area that runs my foot. It just keeps getting worse.

I returned. I used to love the Glycerin, but compared to previous versions, these are stiffer in the forefront and have less room in the toe box. If you decide to order these, be sure to order a half size up.
I'd also recommend:

These are sadly the most uncomfortable Brooks that I have owned. I have worn Brooks for years and have never had this problem. I took them on vacation and had to wear them and my feet were killing me. They are too short in length and the arch support actually made my feet hurt.

I have worn Glycerin's for 8 years, absolutely loved this shoe, then the 19 came out. Terrible, narrow, lack of cushion, weird fit. Will now be looking for another brand and will not buy Brooks unless they return to previous version. Do not buy these.

I only wear Glycerins, but the 19s did not fit or feel the same as my others. (Felt tighter around the toes, not as roomy from top to sole - my big toes poked visibly up and into the mesh top! I hopeful Brooks can figure out why the change in fit and go back to how the Glycerins were produced beforehand. PLEASE! HURRY!

Slightly short. I wear size 10, always order up a size in athletic shoes. Ordered size 11, a little short in the toes and too much "hug" on my heels.

After scouring the internet for a pair of Glycerin 18's, I decided to go with the 19s because I couldn't find any 18's left in my size. I ordered them in the the "Black/Volt" size 7. I usually wear 6.5 in every day shoes but always size up to 7 in my Brooks. The one positive I can say is I LOVED the colors. However, I have never felt such pain in my feet in my life while running in these. When I initially put them on, they felt weird in the toe box but I could still move my toes so I thought I'd give them a chance. All I've worn is Glycerins for the last 10 years except for the original Levitate 1's. I wore them briefly around the house before my run to make sure I was satisfied with the tightness of the laces. I usually run about 5 miles 3 times a week. I headed out to start my run but within the first mile, I noticed my toes were going numb from the ball of my foot to my toes, I felt like I had terrible nerve damage. I stopped and readjusted the laces hoping that would help. I barely made it through mile 2 when the pain was so intense, I nearly cried. I had to overcome my stubbornness and perseverance and thought "I better stop before I do permanent damage" that is how much these hurt! I stopped and limped back to my house. Honestly, they even hurt to walk in. I would have considered going barefoot if there had not been snow on the roadsides. Brooks, why did you change such a good shoe?? I am not sure what there are for alternatives but I am happy to hear what you have because I am a loyal Brooks fan but these shoes deserved an F.

I?ve been buying Brooks for years and the brand is my go to; however, this last pair makes me question that. They are ill-fitting, run very small and was a total waste of money. Very disappointed.

I have been a brooks fan for years and have never had a pair that I absolutely HATE until these. My feet hurt so bad in them and they constantly rub on the back of my heels and actually caused calluses on not my heels. I also think they run a half size small which I?m sure doesn?t help the discomfort but I?ve never had to size up in brooks. After wearing them at work for 3 weeks I threw them away and am trying a new brand since ghost 13 is being discontinued.

Very disappointed. The whole shoe has changed! Terrible ball of foot pain. I have worn out an old pair of Glycerin and LOVED them. I will be looking for a different brand now. I am a health care worker and need a good pair of shoes in the hospital.

I really like the look of these shoes but unfortunately every time I run in them, my Achilles? tendons are extremely sore afterwards.
