My husband bought me a new pair of Glycerin for my birthday in August and they are constantly causing blisters. I have tried wearing bandaids and K tape with no relief.

Both the Glycerin and the Ghost shoe have gotten narrower over the years. While the regular width used to fit me just fine, the last 3 versions of both of these shoes have been very narrow. So I tried the wide width in both the Glycerin and the Ghost. Even the wide width in these shoes, especially in the Glycerin, are still too narrow for my average-sized foot. Please bring back the wider forefront and toe box. Instead of the shoe being straight, it needs to curve outward to mimic the curvature of one's foot.

As someone prone to shin splints, I have a tough time finding a good running shoe. I have been running in glycerin's for a while now. Prior to finding the glycerin 16, I hadn't been able to find a shoe that was supportive enough while also being lightweight. With the glycerin 16/17 I was able to train for and run in my first 1/2 marathons. Unfortunately, I've been disappointed in the subsequent glycerin designs. I find them to feel "clunky" and heavier (although I'm sure they are not actually different in weight) and they are not as supportive. I was excited to try the glycerin 19, but I find it too feels heavy without providing the same support. I hope future glycerin's get back some of the old feel.

Put these on and it was HEAVEN. Wore them for a workout and it was HELL. The heel tab or collar were so high on the right foot that it pushed uncomfortably on my Achilles that I developed and burst a blister that bled through my socks. I let the sore heal and tried again. Same thing. I can wear these for an hour but they really just hurt my heel so much.

They feel great! But they do not hold up. Wore out way too quickly. Especially for the price.

First time trying Brooks at the behest of both my husband and personal trainer (the shoes will be for walking, running, and HIIT workouts at the gym), and when I tried them on initially at the store, I was surprised and impressed: light, cushiony, plenty of room for this wide-width foot. But on my first 2 mile walk, I had to cut it short because the heel tab was rubbing the backs of my heels into blisters. Sadly, it was a reminder that I need an Achilles' Notch in my shoe instead of a heel tab (and I just had to look those terms up), but I'm super disappointed, because everything else about the shoe was working wonderfully.

great for fit and support. I bought these to go to Spain for a month- wore them in Spain and although they were so comfortable they literally got a whole in the side and heel area. I love Brooks shoes but feel like this one for sustainability is a lemon. :(

I always wear glycerins?they?re my go to for working in healthcare on my feet all day. However, this model is tight and narrow, and I have narrow feet as it is. I have been trying to break them in (even though I never had to break in the older models), but they?re still uncomfortable.

I have worn the Glycerin's for years and sometimes the model seems to run a bit small but the 19 is way too small. My toe hits right at the end of the shoe and I was hoping that it would stretch out but it didn't. Can't love this one. It caused a lot of pain in my arches. I now just wear it for gym workouts. Loved the 18!

Compared to previous shoes I've purchased by Brooks - even older models of this design these are by far the worst. As a healthcare worker I stand on my feet a minimum of nine hours a day and average 15 miles of walking per shift. The heel on these were like cheese graters, I had blisters after my first shift and no amount of working them in has made it any better. I'm constantly retying them to get better support, there's a large lack of cushion. After two months of trying I bought another style.

I always wear wide, in brooks, but the Glycerin 19 my toes were right on the edge. Cut to narrow.

I ordered the normal size I wear in Glycerins, which is 8.5 Wide, and I ended up with horrific blisters on my big toes and big toe joints. Not sure why they narrowed the toes and toe boxes. I had to pull out some NB FuelCell Rebels from like 3 years ago while I waited for new shoes to arrive. SUPER disappointed because I had a decently successful "run" with several iterations of the Brooks Glycerin. No longer, unfortunately.

Initially these felt very good...for about 5 minutes. I could feel my kitchen floor through the soles. As I walked my toes hit the front of the shoe and I knew that they would go through the flimsy sock like material in no time. Overpriced. Poor materials. Disappointed.

Loved the color choices for this shoe. The material is vey nice and felt great to the touch. I am returning them for two reasons. The toe box is a little narrow and not as roomy as the Adrenaline 21s. It was not overly tight, and not the main reason for my return. The biggest reason for my return is that the heel is not cushioned enough where the shoe construction meets the cushion at the top of the heel. It literally feels like two separate pieces and the lower part is sharp enough that it cut through my heel. Not a blister, but a cut. As an aside, this is a neutral shoe and my orthopedist recommended it for my plantar fasciitis. My feet were in such pain after a two mile walk, that I am going back to the Adrenalines that fit my foot much better as I do over pronate when I walk and that's the shoe that the Brooks website recommended for me.

Had to send them back. Fit was way to small. Could not tell the comfort because they didn’t fit. Also the pink color was lighter than the picture online. Great delivery and return!

The left shoe pinched and hurt my toes and side of foot. Otherwise it is a nice shoe. I sent them back and will not buy Brooks again. Will stay with New Balance. And try to find my correct size in Propet and try that brand.

I really wanted these to work but they overall felt too small...too short and narrow. I typically wear the levitate but the new colors are blah.

Still not sure if I want to keep them... they feel ok with very thin socks but a lil snug with regular socks.. maybe size up if you plan to order these?

The shoe runs small in length and width. Brooks needs EE width for all their shoes. People with orthotics need the extra width.

The Glycerin 17 was my go-to shoes and they are not available anymore. The Glycerin 19 turned out to be too narrow in the width. It pinches my foot. I wish they wouldn't change the design of the shoe so much.

I’ve had other Brooks running shoes and I ordered my usual size. I have a bunion on one foot and these felt smaller and much more narrow than my other pairs.
