My glycerins were the blue and red/pink version. I think I have found my running sneaker as this is the second pair I've purchased. I had tried some of the other brooks but found the glycerin is perfect for support. I always purchase an 8 1/2 in Brooks but these were a little snug. Not enough to make me return them as I'm sure they'll loosen up with wear. I was able to wear them on a run right out of the box with no break in time. The only think with Brooks is I wish they had "cooler" styles/colors. Need someone "hip" on their design team. I really do go for comfort in my runs over style which is why I'll continue to sacrifice style points to enjoy Brooks. If the style was there, I'd probably have many vs the 1 I use on all my runs so I suppose that is saving my piggy bank. Thank you Brooks for my favorite sneaker for running.

I know that everyone before me has already said this but--go a half size up from your previous pair of Brooks Glycerin. I've been buying the Glycerin for at least 6 years so I usually just call the local running shoe store, have them put them aside for me, then pick them up without even trying them on because they have always fit the same. I was so surprised then when these latest ones felt so small in the toe. I kept those because I felt bad returning them after trying them out so much but I did have to buy a bigger size. That's really the only problem I had with them though. So, if you are a running beginner-I wear a size 8 in regular shoes, I wear a size 9.5 in running shoes, but for this model I had to buy a size 10.

I didn't buy these for running. I bought them for knee comfort while walking at my job. They are very good. I have also had very good luck with the Ghost 13. I am sorry they will not be made any longer. With their reviews I would think that would be enough to keep them around. It if ain't broke don't fix it. I would purchase more Ghost 13 if they were available.

I really wanted to like these! My feet really enjoyed standing in them-- but the forefoot felt odd when walking, like I was on a separate pod or cushion section. It's a shame, because otherwise these are very comfortable. I wound up with the Ghost 14 instead.

I have loved this shoe for many years. I have wide feet that need a lot of cushion. These have always delivered on the cushion! The mesh material on the toe box seems a bit too stretchy in my opinion and I’m not sure how long it will last. So many shoes have changed their fit the last few years so i didn’t have many other options. There are also only a few terrible options for wide shoe colors. Brooks screws the wide foot and I’m sure narrow foot runner from good color options. There were two black shoe options and two white/grey and that’s it!

I?ve been running in Brooks shoes for over 10 years. The Ghost 13 Run Visible shoe has been hard to top. I got the Glycerin 19 when the Ghost 14 became horribly uncomfortable after only 100 miles on them. I?ve only put 15 miles on these, the shoe feels overly snug, even with the laces loosened. I hope they stretch out a bit with a few more miles, but can?t say I love this shoe.

I have always worn brooks glycerin brand. And I’ve always been in love with them! I do have to say that I like the 18s better than the 19s due to the toebox size. The 19s seem to run a little bit smaller but not by much. It also doesn’t take long to break them in. It’s like walking on sunshine. I usually get 400-500 miles out of each pair. They are definitely a comfortable, neutral road shoe.

I've been religiously getting the Glycerin for years now and have always been a size 7. Never had to break them in, never got any blisters (even after running a marathon), they always fit perfectly. I put the Glycerin 19 on for the first time and I couldn't wait to get them off. The toe box felt so much narrower than versions in the past. It was so tight and uncomfortable. Very disappointed, it was my favorite running shoe. I would size up to 7.5, but I'd be afraid that the shoe would be too long and rub my heel.

Loved the colors, but not a fan of how wide the soles were. They just looked weird on my feet.

I am a size 7 in shoes. I always take an 8 in sneakers. While the sneakers are plush and comfy, the toe box is tight so for long runs that would be an issue. I might have to try an 8.5 in these.

I have had 3-4 pair of Brooks Glycerin previously and like my shoe pretty tight fitting. I ordered these in my standard 8 and found them to be a much snugger fit than my precious pairs. I ordered the 8.5 and found them to still be snug but far more comfortable. If you prefer a looser fitting run shoe, I suggest ordering .5-1 full size larger than your normal. The 19 version has much more cushion and spring than the 18 version which is nice, but feels like a different run than my precious pair. Broke them in tonight and was happy with the feel.

I had to return for a half size up as I like a little extra room in toe box. The way my toes naturally curve upwards I will put holes in my tennis shoes easily. These are pretty durable and double lined so hoping for no holes anyway! For comparison, in the brooks Hyperion I wear an 8 but I needed an 8.5 in the Glycerin 19… which I’ve never worn in my life. typically I’m a 7.5-8 in non-running shoes and a solid 8 in running shoes so it’s weird there is an obvious size difference between styles within their own brand. These also feel a bit narrow. Anyways, they are very comfortable, good cushion, and nice padding inside around ankle area. They feel a little heavy compared to my Hoka’s, Saucony, and obviously much heavier than Brooks Hyperion so I don’t think I’d recommend them for training or marathon shoes. Great walking shoes and for shorter runs. When I first got the size 8, I got the lavender but when I exchanged them I got the black with neon yellow laces. I think the black look much cooler and more modern. Overall I’m very happy but I will likely try a different style in the line once these wear down.

I have been buying Brooks shoes (previously the Transcend) from the Brooks website, size 10, no problem in the past and was confident that if I ordered the 10, they would fit. I ordered these Transcend replacements at size 10 and could immediately tell that they were too small. I was shocked. I went over to our local running store and talked to the personnel who told me that with this shoe you had to go up a size that somehow Brooks didn't get the sizing right. Sure enough, I bought a size 11 after trying on the 10.5. I'm giving them 4 stars because I haven't used them yet, but I'm expecting that the cushioning will be great, which is what I need.

Nice shoe, just not a good shape for my foot. Pressure over large toe joint area, and ankle not comfortable.

I think I'd really give these a 4.5 if I could do half stars. These shoes are a great recovery run choice to give your feet some extra cushion when they're tired. They can even go pretty fast if pushed. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the toe box... It doesn't seem super narrow, but just flat somehow. I still run in these, and they're fine. I just prefer more space for my toes, especially in a shoe that is otherwise very comfy. The cushioned tongue is amazing!

I normally wear Adrenaline and have 1 pair of Ghost. These seem a little bit shorter than those, but still fit ok.

Good running shoes. Excellent support. I have been wearing the Brooks Glycerin for years in the same size. With this pair, when I wear short socks, the back of the heel moves the sock, and I end up with horrible blisters. No idea if they changed the shoe, but this is a bummer for summer running. In the winter, I wear longer socks, and there's not an issue.

Trying a different model than Ghost. Much better cushioning and support in the Glycerin. Hope they add more colors soon!

The toe area was wider than my other style from Brooks. Not quite as good a fit for my feet. Really nice shoes.

I typically have to wear an orthotic but since purchasing the glycerine, I don?t anymore. Great cushion. Gives me the support for my high arches and my feet feel great at the end of the day no matter how long I have been on my feet! I buy a half size up! Great sneaker!
