Very comfortable, easy to run in. Seem to fit smaller than previous models

Initially I purchased a size 10 (the same size I have been my ENTIRE adult life) I ordered the Glycerin 19 after my 18s finally wore out. Major shock in the difference of the shoe! While it still has some decent cushion it is definitely not as squishy as the 18. The biggest problem I had is that I had continued foot numbness in the size that I would normally wear. I tried re-lacing several times with only reductions in the numbness but not correction. Returned the size 10 and jumped up to a 10 1/2. After majorly loosening the laces, so far they seem to be comfortable but I definitely prefer the glycerin 18 over the 19. I feel like the 19 has a more shallow toebox and the mesh upper is overall tighter on this newer shoe making it feel smaller than it actually is. Def size up at least 1/2 size!

These shoes offer a cushy ride, which I love. They run very small! I am a size 9 usually, and a 9.5 in running shoes, which I like to be roomy, but I find the Brooks Glycerin 19 a bit small and wish I had purchased size 10.

These shoes have amazing cushion and they have really helped solve my issues with plantar fasciitis and knee pains. I gave 4 stars because for some reason, the tips of my toes get sore and rub, even after sizing up and getting wides. I?m not sure why the toe issues, and I continue to wear them because the discomfort is minor. If that didn?t happen, then they would be 5 stars for sure!

The shoes are very comfortable and supportive. I will definitely recommend them and buy another pair. One observation...it was recommended to purchase 1/2 size larger because Brooks shoes are known to run a bit small. I recommended buying a full size larger. These are almost too small and I ordered 1/2 size larger.

Very comfortable with plenty of cushion. One thing I don?t love is that it tends to rub on my heels and had resulted in blisters on a couple of occasions.

Fit was as expected. I've been wearing Brooks Ghost for a number of years and fit was identical. Excellent cushioning, neutral shoe, decent arch support. Reminiscent of Ghost 12 before cushioning was reduced by about 2/3 with Ghost 13.
I'd also recommend:

Has a good cushion to it. Buying other pairs to be able to rotate through them cause it feels like it lost some of the cushyness after about 20 miles.

This felt tight in the toe with my orthotic inserted. I need at least a half size bigger. Otherwise they had good support and I liked the style. I returned them to order a larger size.

This felt at least a half size too small, with my orthotic inserted. I liked the style and it had good support. So I returned them.

I purchased the glycerin gts 9 wide before, my 1st pair of shoes, and they fit and felt so good. It's hard to find my shoe size so I had to order them. I have bad feet and I really like the gts! However this time I had to order the glycerin 9w and they aren't as comfortable and supportive as the gts. I stand on concrete all day and my feet are hurting at the end of the day with the glycerin.

Had to get a half size larger because of narrower toe box. Also has a rather wide sole on the front edge if the shoe that can trip you if not careful. First pair of glycerin I had to get larger because of shoe design.

I found this to be a little tight. They are my correct size. They?re soft. But run small .

They are light and perfectly cushioned. However, something happened to the back part that touches my Achilles and caused irritation then a blister. I have not had a chance to run in them but can see why people rank them well.

I like the shoe but it runs small and even the half size up was a little snug. The cushion isn't as soft as my other running shoe. I do like them but they take a little bit to stretch out and feel as good as they do now.

I am happy with by new Brook's glycerin sneakers. Just what I wanted. I always go up a half-size in sneakers, so the fit is perfect for me. This is a great shoe. I will purchase them again in the future. Zappos order came quickly.

I normally wear an 8 1/2 regular with shoe so it took a while to get the right size. It appears I’m a 9D in these. I’m glad I persisted though as they are amazingly comfortable although I was a little bit disappointed that my size and with that I needed did not come in any of the fun colors. I bought these for use on a treadmill underneath my desk so I can’t wait to see how they hold up.

After looking at several different Brooks, I decided on the glycerin 19 since cushion was my main objective. They are like walking on clouds compared to my old Nike Pegasus runners. I took off a star because the laces are too short. I can’t completely judge them yet since I haven’t taken them out for a run.

These are the most plush and cushiony shoes all around that I have ever worn. However, they are very snug. They run a whole size small and narrow - the wide sizes could still be wider so I can imagine the medium width would be narrow for anyone whose foot is even slightly on the wider side - I would say unless you have narrow feet, order the wide width. That?s the only reason I subtract one star - because of the difficulty with sizing. I am normally a a size 7W but I have been ordering half a size up in all my running shoes since I have bunions and need a roomier toe box. In these, going half a size up to a 7.5W was still snug enough that it was not giving me enough room and also slightly pressing on my bunion, which would be irritating for longer duration of running or walking. However because of how much I appreciate the cushion comfort I have exchanged the 7.5W for an 8W, because I definitely appreciate having these for days when I want that extra plush experience. In contrast I have the Launch 8 and those are actually quite roomy in 7.5W to the point where I would probably have been fine to get a 7W - just goes to show how snug, narrow, and small these seem to run in comparison. In terms of breathability - these aren?t the best shoes for hotter temperatures. I can see why that is the case, as the cushioning sacrifices some breathability. If you tend to experience very hot sweaty feet, I suggest avoiding these and getting the Launch, which are so lightweight and very breathable. For most people, these would be great for indoor runs on a treadmill since you can have the AC on or running outdoors in cooler weather. I don?t have particularly sweaty feet, but I still wouldn?t run/hike outside in these in the summer.

I absolutely fell in love with my Glycerin 18’s. I have nerve pain in my feet and they almost eliminated the discomfort 100%. They were the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I work 12 hour shifts and good shoes are important. I sized up 1/2 size per reviews I had read. Those wore out snd I had to look into getting another pair and went with the 19’s. Most all were sold out.. and not available in wide, I need roomy shoes with this nerve pain. The reviews were indeed all correct. The 19’s I had to size up a whole size and they are more narrow than the 18’s. I’m disappointed that I couldn’t find wide in the style I was looking for. Also people talked about the back digging into the heal area and being too high. I’m also experiencing this. I’ve had to wear bandaids the last three days since I’ve had them. I’m hoping that once they get broken in, that problem will be solved. I did end up getting a blister. All and all, they do provide great cushion and do still help ease the nerve pain. I’ll continue to give them a chance.

Like walking on marshmallows...loved them but had to return them. The 10mm heel drop is too high and after 4 hours wearing them my metatarsals were hurting. Why do the extra cushion shoes Glycerin and Ghost both have the higher heel drop??
