This has been the worst pair of brooks ever. There is a hard piece in my left back ankle area that runs my foot. It just keeps getting worse.

I know that everyone before me has already said this but--go a half size up from your previous pair of Brooks Glycerin. I've been buying the Glycerin for at least 6 years so I usually just call the local running shoe store, have them put them aside for me, then pick them up without even trying them on because they have always fit the same. I was so surprised then when these latest ones felt so small in the toe. I kept those because I felt bad returning them after trying them out so much but I did have to buy a bigger size. That's really the only problem I had with them though. So, if you are a running beginner-I wear a size 8 in regular shoes, I wear a size 9.5 in running shoes, but for this model I had to buy a size 10.

I buy the glycerin for the cushion, and these just don't have it. Feels very stiff and more like the ghost. Not a good year.

I loved my Adrenaline shoe with mesh, but the new ones were made different! I ordered the glycerin 19 and it was too small! Back to the drawing board!

This shoe is so comfortable! I’ve had tendonitis in my feet, and my podiatrist recommended the Brooks brand for great support. I’ve worn the Ghost 13 (which I love) and Adrenaline 21, but the Glycerin 19 has the most cushiony feel along with the support I need.

I returned. I used to love the Glycerin, but compared to previous versions, these are stiffer in the forefront and have less room in the toe box. If you decide to order these, be sure to order a half size up.

I've been a stout devotee of the Glycerin for the past several years, but I'm quite disappointed in this version of the Glycerin. They've clearly changed the arch since the last version, and it is creating a lot of pain. I have specialized orthotics that have been magic with my previous versions. In fact, I ran in an old pair of Glynerins today with them in - zero arch pain. Unfortunately, I will have to seek out an alternative as this one is just impossible. Plus, I'm really disappointed in these shoelaces, they seem flimsy and the right one (only, which is weird) constantly comes untied. Why not make shoelace selection optional with a range of shoelaces to choose from? Including Yankz or equivalent? Now THAT would personalize a shoe!

I really wanted to love theses as much as I have loved all of my Brooks. Love the weight-but narrow.

It?s been a couple of years since purchasing this style. So you can imagine I was expecting a new and improved version of the same great shoes. The size is slightly different so I had to return to up a half size up. The padding of definitely not the same?less and all around. Not the same vision feel. In fact my old shoe felt more cushioned than these new version. They look great but the function and feel for the run and walk just not the same. Not sure if I will spend this amount of money to purchase again. I?m really sad about that. Brooks was my go to shoe. Used to be so great for me since my knees need that cushion.

I have flat feet, and I get pain in my arches and ankles. These felt amazing on my feet, until they started rubbing the back of my ankle raw? I tried so hard to break them in, tried different socks, messed with it etc... Finally I found this to be a common issue with this shoe and switched it out for the Ghost 14. Please fix this issue!

My feet are wide, flat, and I supinate (feet roll outwards) which is not common in flat footed people. I had been running in Brooks Adrenaline GTS which fit perfectly, but I learned that I actually needed a more neutral running shoe with cushion as a supinator, and especially as a heel-striker. So I tried on every shoe you could think of for wide feet - Brooks ghost, catamount & cascadia, asics gel kayano, various hoka one one's (generally too narrow and bulky), altras (too floppy and not enough cushion), saucony peregrine (too narrow). Some of these are for trail running because I was also looking for winter running shoes. Ultimately I ended up with Brooks Glycerins which are perfect.
My Brook Adrenalines in 6 Medium fit perfectly, but saw all the reviews saying Glycerins fit small and narrow. So I ordered the Glycerins in 6.5 Wide - unfortunately my foot did not feel stable enough in them, ie. they were too wide. So then I went back to my original size 6 Medium - they definitely felt too short and snug, and visibly shorter than the Adrenalines. So then I exchanged for 6.5 Medium. When I first put on the shoes they still felt a bit tight. But after walking around for a few minutes, they felt great, like walking on clouds. Something to note: The extra padding in this shoe will make them feel snug at first, but that will go away with time! My first run in these felt amazing and never felt like I had to break them in. So I would say order a half size larger but probably not necessary to size up in width.

These are sadly the most uncomfortable Brooks that I have owned. I have worn Brooks for years and have never had this problem. I took them on vacation and had to wear them and my feet were killing me. They are too short in length and the arch support actually made my feet hurt.

The shoes were generally uncomfortable. The toe box was way too small. I returned them after a very short trial run on the treadmill.

I have worn Glycerin's for 8 years, absolutely loved this shoe, then the 19 came out. Terrible, narrow, lack of cushion, weird fit. Will now be looking for another brand and will not buy Brooks unless they return to previous version. Do not buy these.

The Glycerin 19 were smaller than my old pair had to go up to a size 10. (I have worn a 9 1/2 for the last 5 years so I do not think it was my feet getting bigger). They also feel a bit thicker and more bulky than the glycerin 18. I have worn the Glycerin for about 8 years now and the last model the Glycerine 18 is by far my favorite style. I wish they would of kept the shoe how it was.

This Glycerin 19 is the most comfortable pair I've worn in a long time. Everything is better than the 18, especially the cushion. I hope to get another pair if a color I like becomes available. I really like the red/navy I purchased.
I'd also recommend:
Tha Adrenaline GTS is my second choice after the Glycerin.

My Brooks are by far the best running shoe in my arsenal and I have tried many. They are light weight and give a cushion with each step. Thank you Brooks!
