These are nice shoes, just not for me. I have a high arch and need the support. None there. In fact, I found the support overall to be lacking.

Needs a little more arch support for me, but comfortable and great ankle support. Ordered a half size larger than usual and was perfect.

I love the way the shoes look and when I first put them on they seemed to be a perfect fit. But, as I wore them longer they began to run rub on the tops of my toes. I’m so disappointed! It’s so hard to find narrow width shoes and I thought these felt perfect. Lots of money for what turned out to be uncomfortable.

After looking at several different Brooks, I decided on the glycerin 19 since cushion was my main objective. They are like walking on clouds compared to my old Nike Pegasus runners. I took off a star because the laces are too short. I can’t completely judge them yet since I haven’t taken them out for a run.

The new Glycerin 19 has a narrower toe box and less instep support than previous models. Disappointing redesign.

Really nice shoe. There may be arch support but I have high arches so can't really feel anything supportive in the shoe. I have wide feet and these shoes fit perfectly. The only difficulty I had at all was using a rowing machine - the very wide sole always gets stuck in the rowing foot pedal. A straighter edge shoe has no problems. I've worn these nearly every day for almost a year and have beaten these shoes to death. So very, very comfortable for walking and standing all day! They'll be downgraded to garden shoes now - I just ordered another pair of Brooks.

I've worn Brooks for years, including Glycerin. They are always TTS. However, the Glycerin 19 runs 1/2 - 1 full size smaller. Also, the heel is very stiff, so you have to break them in. I got terrible heel blisters the first few times I ran in them. They are better now, but still stiff.

When I walk with these shoes, I feel like I'm walking on air. They are super comfortable, very cushioned and very lightweight. I walk about 4 miles a day and these are the 'ticket' to a good experience.

I wear these for walking. They have plenty of cushioning. Not my first pair.

I now have 3 pairs of Glycerin 19 shoes...1 pair stays at work, 1 for home indoors and 1 for walking outdoors ( I am not a runner). Love them...they have so much cushion for the foot especially for the heel which I tend to have issues with. So walking on cement, wood floors, tile, tread mills are not a problem anymore!

I'm not a runner but have foot & had knee replacement and these are the best shoes for me. I can't wait for the Glycerine 20 to become available in my size.

These are the most plush and cushiony shoes all around that I have ever worn. However, they are very snug. They run a whole size small and narrow - the wide sizes could still be wider so I can imagine the medium width would be narrow for anyone whose foot is even slightly on the wider side - I would say unless you have narrow feet, order the wide width. That?s the only reason I subtract one star - because of the difficulty with sizing. I am normally a a size 7W but I have been ordering half a size up in all my running shoes since I have bunions and need a roomier toe box. In these, going half a size up to a 7.5W was still snug enough that it was not giving me enough room and also slightly pressing on my bunion, which would be irritating for longer duration of running or walking. However because of how much I appreciate the cushion comfort I have exchanged the 7.5W for an 8W, because I definitely appreciate having these for days when I want that extra plush experience. In contrast I have the Launch 8 and those are actually quite roomy in 7.5W to the point where I would probably have been fine to get a 7W - just goes to show how snug, narrow, and small these seem to run in comparison. In terms of breathability - these aren?t the best shoes for hotter temperatures. I can see why that is the case, as the cushioning sacrifices some breathability. If you tend to experience very hot sweaty feet, I suggest avoiding these and getting the Launch, which are so lightweight and very breathable. For most people, these would be great for indoor runs on a treadmill since you can have the AC on or running outdoors in cooler weather. I don?t have particularly sweaty feet, but I still wouldn?t run/hike outside in these in the summer.

I typically wear a 8.5, regular width. I could barely get these on my feet. On my feet with socks was definitely not an option. I ordered a wide as a replacement and that fit just like the regular width. Trying a size up next but if those don’t fit, I give up! Definitely seem like they run small and narrow.

I have run in Glycerins for years. Love the cushioning of the soles. However, with the #19s I started having issues with Achilles bursitis especially at longer distances past 6 miles. I would have to either bail on the run or actually drive to a different place to finish up where there was more flat terrain. I finally compared my previous Glycerins (#14) to the #19s and the padding at the back of the collar is much thinner with the new model compared to the older one. Quite disappointing.

I bought these instead of my usual Adrenaline pair. Not happy. The heel sits lower and made me form blisters after the constant friction

I have worn Brooks shoes for many years. They have the room I need for my toes. I bought the Glycerin 19 in a size 12 and they?re too small!! I used to wear a size 11 but now even the size 12s doesn?t fit me!

I just got my first pair! A lot more Cushion then the ghost 14. My question is why are the colors so limited? I would love a different color than black? Are these discontinued?

I love these shoes. This is my second pair. I have been running in the Glycerin style shoes for years and I will never run in anything else. They are the perfect balance of cushion with spring. The shoe hugs my foot perfectly and doesn?t cause blisters on my pinky toes which has been a problem for me in the past. These shoes are also perfect for nurses because they have so much cushion. Easy to stand in all day. Definitely worth the price if you are an avid runner or on your feet all day!

These fit really well with my orthotics (I have very high arches). They don't seem to ride up and down on my heels like others have, but I did have to order wides because with regular width, they are way too tight around. These do still fit pretty snugly, but I have plenty of room in the toe box.

These are OK. I don't love them. I bought them for fall marathon season, but after doing some long training runs, I opted not to use them for race day. I wouldn't use them for race day at any distance. I just use them for training runs. They are too wide for me and as a forefoot striker, they actually aren't that comfortable. They seem like they would be better shoes for walking in, not running. I still have an old pair of Glycerin 14's and I must say, they are so much more comfortable to run in than these.
