I love these shoes. I just bought my 3rd pair. I am a 63 year old woman, fairly active and wear these shoes to do my power walks daily outside. These shoes fit true to size & would highly recommend them to those that may have an over pronation issue. I have HAPPY FEET when I wear them:)

I felt every surface I walked on. Was looking for cushion feel inside. The arch fit by Sketchers was like walking on a cloud with support. These are going back.

I absolutely fell in love with my Glycerin 18’s. I have nerve pain in my feet and they almost eliminated the discomfort 100%. They were the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I work 12 hour shifts and good shoes are important. I sized up 1/2 size per reviews I had read. Those wore out snd I had to look into getting another pair and went with the 19’s. Most all were sold out.. and not available in wide, I need roomy shoes with this nerve pain. The reviews were indeed all correct. The 19’s I had to size up a whole size and they are more narrow than the 18’s. I’m disappointed that I couldn’t find wide in the style I was looking for. Also people talked about the back digging into the heal area and being too high. I’m also experiencing this. I’ve had to wear bandaids the last three days since I’ve had them. I’m hoping that once they get broken in, that problem will be solved. I did end up getting a blister. All and all, they do provide great cushion and do still help ease the nerve pain. I’ll continue to give them a chance.

Like walking on marshmallows...loved them but had to return them. The 10mm heel drop is too high and after 4 hours wearing them my metatarsals were hurting. Why do the extra cushion shoes Glycerin and Ghost both have the higher heel drop??

I've been wearing Glycerins for years. I've probably owned 10 pair or more. This version is terrible. I wear a size 9 shoe but size up to a 10 for running shoes. This pair of Glycerin 19s are way too short - and I've always worn a 10 in them. In addition to that, they rub blisters on my heels/back of ankles. I am a die-hard Glycerin fan and they have always been my favorite running shoe but this version has almost broke me. I'll try the 20s when they come out but I hope they model them after the previous Glycerins.

Why did Brooks change this shoe? The #18 version is much more comfortable in the wide width. I need a wide toe box. This is NOT "wide", as it claims. Wish I could return it and buy the #18 pair. Really disappointed in this shoe's tight toe box.

This is my third time buying Brooks Glycerin running shoes and I have really loved them. I am a little disappointed this time. The Glycerin 19 shoes seems to run smaller that my Glycerin 18 shoes. The 19?s also don?t feel as good on my heels.

The shoe it self is really nice and more so when you try them on. The only thing is that you will have to get 1/2 size bigger they run smaller then Normal. This shoes do have alot off support for your feet.
I'd also recommend:
Asics Gel -Nimbus and brooks ghost 14

My glycerins were the blue and red/pink version. I think I have found my running sneaker as this is the second pair I've purchased. I had tried some of the other brooks but found the glycerin is perfect for support. I always purchase an 8 1/2 in Brooks but these were a little snug. Not enough to make me return them as I'm sure they'll loosen up with wear. I was able to wear them on a run right out of the box with no break in time. The only think with Brooks is I wish they had "cooler" styles/colors. Need someone "hip" on their design team. I really do go for comfort in my runs over style which is why I'll continue to sacrifice style points to enjoy Brooks. If the style was there, I'd probably have many vs the 1 I use on all my runs so I suppose that is saving my piggy bank. Thank you Brooks for my favorite sneaker for running.

Not impressed, the foam feels like cheaper quality and has rubbed off on the side. It lost its cushion fast over time and my feet cramp up. Normally I wear brooks shoes for my marathon and I swear by them but since I had been injured and mostly used these shoes this time for walking and small runs and they did not hold up like they use too.

This is the third pair of this brand and model I have purchased. Unfortunately these running shoes have been changed. I always go up half a size from my regular shoe size which I did in this case. When I first wore them they were fine but after several hours of wearing they seemed to be smaller than normal particularly around the toe area.I wish I could return but too many months have passed. Money wasted! Nowhere in the shoe description was it stated that these shoes run small. Deceptive description. If purchased go up a whole size!

The fit is correct, but the material lining the heel is so slippery my heels slip too much when walking regardless of how I tie the shoes

The materials are definitely less quality than past years. Very thin material on top. The lining is terrible. You definitely have to buy sof sol inserts to wear them. Toe box used to be roomy, now they?re like all other brands.

I Love them so much !! I am not a runner, but i do a lot of walking and on my feet all the time, and these shoes feel so good, soft, forms around my mid foot, and breathable. I highly recommend! Just get a pair and you?ll realize right then these shoes are worth every penny. My husband is tall with large feet and when i bought him a pair to try, he absolutely loved them! Most comfortable tennis shoe he has ever owned. Its all he will wear! He wears a 15 and those are hard to come by, but Brooks is fantastic on his feet! This shoe and the ghost are our #1 tennis shoes!

When I first ordered these, the recommendation was to order half a size down. So I did, and that was a mistake. Then I tried my regular size, and they were still too snug. The best fit was half a size UP. I am trying the Glycerin after years of wearing the Ghost. These definitely have more cushion, but want to put in a few more miles before I decide which I like better.
