Definitely not an EE width. I am a solid E width, and my foot overlapped a bit and stretched the material. I had the same situation in another pair of shoes and it became very uncomfortable. I like the shoes, they just were not wide enough. They felt true to length, but the width was definitely narrower than an EE. Maybe a D.

The heel collar on this shoe is the worst of any shoe I've ever tried. It is too high and shaped so that it rubs the back of your heel.

They were for my husband. He really feels they are comfortable right from the first wearing. Good arch support.

Been a loyal Glycerin fan for awhile. Ran one time in these and the back of the shoe just carved my lower Achilles. I run in 2 pairs of socks and these shoes, in one 5 mile run, had bled threw both pair of socks. I don't know what happened in the design, but seems like a mis-step.

Too small and tight. I have narrow feet and ordered regular width and was tight. Also feels 1 size smaller than supposed to be. I’ve always bought glycerin style before and been very happy in the past, but not with these. Looks cheap too. Very disappointed. Sending back.

I’ve tried Nike airs and new balance but keep coming back to Brooks Glycerin for comfortable and supportive shoes. Less pain all over my body when I wear Brooks Glycerin. My wife has been wearing them for 20 years and suggested that I try them a few years ago. We both wish that they’d stop trying to “improve” them year after year and stick to same because it works.

I am a somewhat portly jogger who underpronates. These shoes really give great cushioning and perfect support (for me) and my feet are pain free after runs.

Regular road running shoes. Good replacement for the Transcend.

I really like this shoes! This is my second pair of shoe from Brooks! It exceed my expectation. I bought this one because my knee was hurt from constant running. As soon as I wear this shoes, I could tell that it is well cushion. I haven't tried to make long run from this one yet because I'm still recovering. But I definitely will test this guy out as soon as I feel my knee can handle long run! Plus, I am very satisfied with Brooks customer support system!

I normally wear a 10 1/2 wide. For this shoe, I had to go to an 11 1/2 wide to get the right fit. Haven't worn Brooks in a while, pleased so far with the comfort.

Bought shoes for a marathon and started off pretty good, however once I got to some of the longer runs, I noticed that the thin piece of plastic (?) that is wrapped around the heal for stability began digging into my ankle bone, enough to put a hole in a brand new pair of socks. At this point, I'm just going to have to add some padding to that area of my foot but does seem like a design flaw. Also interesting that it only has happened on one foot.

Had high hopes for these, however like other reviewers have stated they are too narrow. Even the wife feels too tight on my arches and was very painful after a short 1 mile trial run. Hoping to a better Brooks shoe in 2022

Meh. This isn’t a bad shoe, but it is a step down from the Glycerin 18. The biggest change is with the upper material above the toes. It has much more stretch than the 18s, which caused my foot to splay out more and wiggle/slide around. Cushion is good, not great.

Been in Glycerins since the 17, with a couple pairs of Adrenalines and Ghosts as well, and the lateral side of the toe box in the 19 is now curved and rubs against my 4th and 5th toes even in the 2E sizing. Tried going up a size and that was too sloppy. I admit this curve does make the shoe more attractive to look at but who cares? Perusing your web site it seems like "the new improved fit" on all your models incorporates this lateral curved toe box. How about keeping one model on the old straight lateral toe box last? Everything else is as expected, outstanding.

These are my hubby’s first pair of the Glycerin model. He loves them; they fit perfectly and support the foot yet are so cushy and soft. A perfect balance.

Nothing was wrong with this shoe. I just happened to try the New Balance 1080v11 and it was everything.

Absolute BEST shoes I have ever bought! SO comfortable, beautiful padding. Width is perfect. I had to order a full size larger because these run small. But the most important thing - this are SO LIGHTWEIGHT! I wear them around the house instead of slippers, as well as outside. LOVE THEM! Definitely recommend for those with wide feet who are tired of heavy walking shoes.

I needed a pair of shoes on short notice. The shoes I prefer weren't available to be delivered in time before my trip. I have had a positive experience with Brooks Walkers, so I decided to try these even though this style didn't offer the 4E size I normally order, and that the Brooks shoes I have owned were. I received them the day before we departed. Unfortunately, they simply weren't wide enough for my feet to walk in comfortably, let alone run in, so I had to return them. I recognize it's not fair to mark something down when I ordered them knowing they weren't as wide as I normally buy, so I didn't mark any of the ratings down. But I felt that writing this review anyway might help someone who usually orders 4E if they liked these and hoped they might fit. If I had seen someone else comment on this subject, I wouldn't have ordered them.

I had the same issue as the review titled "Heel Seam Issue". I bled so deeply into one of the shoes that much of the back and sides were covered in my blood. I've run in Brooks for years, but never had this issue. Excruciatingly uncomfortable after my heels became injured and raw. Plus, this seems to be something of a known issue, as the guy who sold them to me suggested I get a half-size bigger shoe (which I did). I'm a 10-1/2 and the shoes with the bleeding heel issue are 11s.

I have had brooks for years and this pair has given me blisters on both of my feet. I have had the Glycerin before also! What is up with this pair? What is the return policy?

I've been wearing Glycerin series since Glycerin 9 for running and working. This is the comfortable and cushioning shoes and very suitable for the beginner. However, I still wear for short/speed run so my feet did not get hurt. Brooks did a great job not to loose cushioning even though this shoes got lighter. I remembered Glycerin 9 and 10 series were 13oz but this pair is only 10.2 oz with plenty cushioning. Glycerin series never disappointed.
