I tried these, coming from Ghost 13. These made my heels hurt, and feel a half size too small, despite still being same size as all other shoes I've worn; so my entire foot feels cramped in these shoes. Going back to Ghost 13 and skipping Ghost 14 since reviews on the 14s don't look so favorable. Thank You Brooks for your easy return policy!

Nice fit and comfort, but the laces were a frayed mess of loose threads in the first couple weeks.

I only run in Brooks and my last several pairs in a few different styles have been size 12.5. They always fit great. These, however, caused one of my toes to bruise badly. I wore the new pair on three runs and I think the toe box may be too small. I had to go back to the Adrenaline I have been using in order to continue training. They felt great otherwise and I?m disappointed they didn?t work out. Will likely return them for either a larger size or different style.

I was really hoping they would work out. Ghost is my go to sneaker but last two were disappointing. Surprised the Glycerin ran small, even tried wide. Next size up was out of stock

Excellent shoe. Light weight and broad base perfect for balance. Almost like not having shoes on feet. Very comfortable with low impact. Do not like the short laces. Would like them little longer for my double knots.

The Glycerin 19 is a great shoe for basic distance training. I run about 30-35 miles a week and I?ve never gotten hurt wearing the Glycerin. Very comfortable and cushiony, but doesn?t sacrifice speed when desired. This is hands down my favorite shoe to train in.

I absolutely love my new shoes. I liked the first pair so I bought another pair. I am 77 years old and my goal is walking 8 to 10 miles every day. I have been doing this for years in Asics gel shoes. I have switched to Brooks as they are much more comfortable on my feet. I keep seven pairs of shoes and change each day. I will be changing out for more Brooks as I wear out my Asics.

Very padded out and comfortable. Great for daily jogs around the neighborhood, not durable enough for serious dirt trail running or hiking in my opinion.

These shoes are my husband's favorite running shoes. They ran through 2 marathons this year.

Beautiful ride. I have been a consistent New Balance 1080 runner until v11 which reels like a rock compared to these. More plush cushion here while retaining stability, support, and responsiveness. There is more cushion in the ball with a wider sole there for stability. Was a 10.5 in the 1080 and it was recommended I size up to 11 and that feels perfect.

Very comfortable. Great cushion as well as stability. I find these more comfortable and supportive than traditional court shoes for tennis.

This shoe gets great reviews and appears well made. Unfortunately I found the shoe to be a bit narrow compared to other shoes in the same size (and slightly less generous in the toe box) so I went with the Ghost 13.

Glycerin 17 was wonderful. This one is not. Toe box not wide enough nor high enough. Shoe is a half size shorter.

Absolutely do not buy if you have a profound/predominant achilles area. The heel tab on these shoes is extremely stiff and hard and will annihilate your achilles leaving a massive blister. In addition, the second flaw is that the toe box is narrower than previous models. Long story short... I have worn the Glycerin 13, 14, 15, 16, and the 17. The 17's twice, in fact, because the 18 has both of these awful design flaws as the 19's do. The Glycerin models 13-17 I never had any issues with. I ran several miles in the 18's and the heel tab completely annihilated my achilles area and the toe box was more narrow than previous models and I wore a wide size. I ran one mile with the 19's and the heel tab immediately began chewing up my skin. I thought maybe the 19's would improve with this flaw, but no. For the life of me, I cannot understand why Brooks would change this element of their incredible Glycerin models of the past. I have a race this week and bought these shoes to maximize results. I'll just have to wear my worn down 17's. Never again will I buy shoes from Brooks which is too bad because I thought I'd forever be wearing the Glycerin's and even recommended them to friends all the time. Listen up Brooks!... fix these sadistic heel tabs and don't make your shoes narrower than they were in previous models. And clearly I am not the only one with complaints with this shoe as a loyal Glycerin customer of the past. I gave two stars because the design is great and offers nice high arch support. If you don't have a wide tow box and profound achilles area, you'll probably be okay.

I really disliked how tightly these gripped my heel. I’ve never felt anything like it in a running shoe and I couldn’t even walk a couple steps with them on. Too bad too as I liked they way they looked.

I've put nearly 300 miles on these shoes and they are getting ready to be retired soon. I originally came across these shoes as I was looking for something with a bit more cushion for my recovery and relaxed runs. I have always had great experiences with Brooks and this proved to be no exception. I had just retired some Ghost 12s that I had enjoyed, so I was tempted to get the next model of Ghosts but was turned to these. The Glycerin 19s were a bit roomier and they provided a lot more cushion compared to my retired Ghosts. It took some time to adjust to the heel drop, but I quickly came to enjoy these shoes. Brooks did a great job in my opinion (although I think I'll be going back to some Ghosts after this for a little less cushion).

The shoes provided great support, but I had to return them due to the backs rubbing and blistering my ankle

Feels frustrating to say this since my first ever marathon was run in Brooks Glycerin 15s and it was a dream but I have to: the new version is different. I brought my old pair into a running store and compared to a new pair and immediately realized that the sizing was off. That should have been a red flag but I figured it was the only difference so I got a size up and thought I?d be set to go. Started training for my next full and noticed that my heels kept getting cut up and i thought it might be due to my socks randomly slipping down the heel but looking at it closer, the heel of this shoe is definitely higher than my old pair. I?m fixing that by ordering quarter length socks and hoping for the best but this is definitely my last pair of Glycerins.

I bought these due to hearing they are great for Supintation. I've had these shoes for a little over 5 months, and they were great at first, but the DNA Loft cushioning is breaking down and ripping apart and the whole shoe feels completely different. It feels broken down and I feel no cushion at all now. I'm a heavier guy at 270lbs, but don't do any running in these. I work in IT for a boat manufacturing plant and I constantly walk through the factory in clean conditions, but these just aren't cutting it anymore. The heel also picks up cotton from socks and sticks to the heel and irritates my heel, often causing blisters if I walk more than a mile in a day.

These take a while to break in, but once they loosen up a little they are great. My knees are in bad shape and so comfort is the most important variable when I'm buying shoes. These are comfortable enough to wear and they are very easy on my knees so far. Much softer than the Ghost shoes which I bought last time.

The changec from glycerin 18 to 19 is for the worse. Less support and it doesn't fit my orthodic whereas the 17 and 18 did. It pops up and doesn't let my foot rest securely in the body of the sneaker
