Everything is good except the odd size

The shoes themselves are absolutely comfortable. The sole is just what I needed. My only complaint is the way the back of the shoe hits my Achilles tendon. It?s caused a sore and I had to wrap my ankle while wearing the shoes.

These are the best shoes I have ever owned. Not only am I 64, but I also have significant peripheral neuropathy probably caused by chemical exposure while I was in the military. I still run about 25+ miles a week and work outside walking, but, due to lack of electronic impulses, I have lost much of my musculature in my feet and hands causing the bones to rub together. It hurts to run and walk. The Glycerin shoes have been a life saver. The shoes provide superior cushioning and support minimizing the impact of my feet whether on the road or treadmill (I use the Cascadia for trail runs, which provides better off road traction but wears down faster on pavement and treadmill). With these two shoes, I am able to keep going and get back to my Ooorah physique. Thank you Brooks Running for creating something that is truly meaningful in my life. I would not be able to run or walk without these shoes.

Love my glycerins 18. Toe box is wide and roomy in a men?s D width for the wide ball of my foot. The 19s are comfy but the tow box seems more narrow and shorter in height then the 18. Had to use a shoe stretcher worn a few layers of Sox to open up the toe a bit. Otherwise love them and they are my everyday, all the time shoes.

Older versions were much more comfortable. Not a fan of this version..

From experience this will help prevent injuries. I had chronic knee pain every time I increased mileage (teenage knee injury), but not with these. If you ramp up slow these may work wonders for you. There's difference between feeling "soft" and really absorbing impact. This strikes a great balance.

I?ve been using glycerin for several years. Currently on the Glycerin 19 model. I like the cushion and support.

Ive been wearing the Glycerin for 7 years now, I LOVE the 19. Seems lighter than 17 and 18. Many marathons have been run in this shoe and my feet are the only body part that do not ache during or after! Only wish they had more color options like the Ghost.

Much narrower than my other Brooks. Despite a very soft cushion, my feet hurt and I’ve had to stop wearing after a month.

This is my second pair of these running shoes. I work in a hospital as a nurse and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I have worn. I have washed these several times in the washer and air dried them with no issues. I remove the insole before washing. The other feature I like is the fact that my big toe doesn’t wear a hole in the mesh area that has happened with other Brooks shoes.

Not sure what Brooks changed, but these are nowhere near as comfortable as the Glycerin 17s. I couldn't get a good lockdown with these that didn't hurt the top of my foot or put my toes to sleep. I really wanted to like these because the 17s were great shoes! But I had to return them.

I was wearing the wrong shoes before these. After the first time using them my leg pain was gone. These have amazing cushion and support, worth every penny!

Used for it work. I’m an RN. 12 hour shifts on concrete. These shoes keep me from hurting. I’m a bit heavy. I’ve had ten or more pairs over the last 6 years. I’ve lost count. I keep coming back to the glycerin line.

I always run in these shoes. I usually buy a new pair annually for comfort and they have been a good neutral cushion for my high arches.

Saw an online ad for these Brooks said it was their softest shoe ever. In the interest of protecting my joints I figured I'd give these a shot. Finally got the chance as the winter weather has been tough since the Christmas Holidays. Although the shoe fit was good I didn't find them cushier than the Ghost 14's that I also run in. And I got a blister above my heel which I didn't realize until I removed my sock. that being said I'll continue to use them(Glycerin19).

I have a wide foot and should have bought the wide shoe option. They are too snug. Also gave me blisters on Achilles area of both feet

The Glycerin 19 was to replace my ASICS Nimbus. I also have a pair of Brooks Ghost 14. Have to say that the Glycerin is disappointing. Pretty average cushioning that is firm. The Ghost 14 is actually a better fit for my foot and has only slightly less cushioning than the Glycerin. A better value for money. Even though I dislike the laces and eyelet placement of the ASICS Nimbus I am going to return to that shoe for my next purchase in a couple of months. Much superior footpad cushioning and overall comfort. Also can count on them for 350 miles or so.
I'd also recommend:
