I've always worn Addicitions, but I think the Glycerins are my favorite. Very stabile, yet light.

I have never had an issue with Brooks shoes until now. Got my first pair in 2012. These shoe rub the back of my ankle into blisters.

I use these exclusively for walking, 2-4 miles a day. I?m a bigger guy (6?0, 270) and have a history of ankle problems, to include surgeries. I have high arches and supinate, too. I started with the ASICS gel nimbus 23 and while they?re really comfortable I?ve worn the tread off faster than any shoe I?ve owned. I got these and after a month, including 3 10-mile days at Disney, the tread still looks new and the shoe itself is the most comfortable shoe I?ve felt. My ankle hurts less, my feet hurt less all thanks to these. I wear a 12 regular and ordered a 12.5 regular and they fit great. Will definitely be coming back for more.

I absolutely love this shoe. I run four miles daily. My heals used to ache at night like a toothache. I no longer have that problem at all. I gave four stars because after about three months they began to lose the shape and stretch out a bit making for a loose fit that allows too much movement in my foot. I immediately purchased another pair as I feel that they are worth it! I did not throw them out. I now wear them for work. I am a registered nurse and stand eight to ten hours a day three days a week. My Glycerin 19?s have not let me down. My heals have not hurt me since I purchased them!!!! Thank u for this awesome shoe!!!!

Very cushy. Felt kinda clumpy and heavy. It dug into my heal. All and all not that bad of a shoe. It isn?t really meant for my run stride

Shoes fit great. Great delivery time. Anytime I have had an issue Zappos has let me return my shoes and made it right. Great company! Would like some discount on my shoes for being a repeat customer though.

I am on my feet all day, and was looking for a shoe with cushion to make my feet feel better. I have been wearing these since they arrived and the cushion really works and my feet feel great!! Yes, I will buy these again.

I've been buying Glycerins for almost 8 years now. They are my go-to shoes for running, exercise and just about everything in between. It gives me the comfort I need to workout in peace. However, I ordered my new pair, the 19s and they have hurt my feet since i've gotten them. They are uncharacteristically tight on the midsole of the shoe which really hurts my feet (I ordered the 2E Wide too!) which has been an unpleasant surprise. I am returning these now and looking at maybe trying the Ghosts again. Really sad because I usually LOVE these shoes. Books, Please fix this, I love your shoes - Thank you!

It started out so well. I was very happy with the soft comfort of the shoes. However as time wore on there is one flaw with my left shoe. The very back of the heel has a seam and that seem rubs the back of the heel to the point of bleeding. The right shoe does not have this issue. I have had to retire these shoes well before their time. It is sad because these had a lot of potential.

The shoe is quite comfortable but the material isn't very durable. The toe of my shoe is wearing thin - I'm on my 9th week of wear averaging ~15 miles a week with a combination of road and treadmill running. I've bought several pairs of Brooks (2 pairs of Ghost 13's were my most recent) but really disappointed with these.

This shoe is true to size for me (10.5), the glycerin has and continues to have the most comfortable upper in any running shoe I?ve tried. The traction is great even in wet conditions. The reason for the markdown is because for a shoe that?s supposed to be the most cushioned in the lineup, it?s fairly firm; I?d say it?s medium firm. I?d love for Brooks to release the next version with more softness for that pillowy feel you don?t quite get with these Even still this is a great shoe with endless comfort that serves as a solid daily trainer

The heel was so soft and spongy, I lost balance from how the outer back heel collapses as soon as i put my weight on it. These shoes are very unsafe and not at all fit to run in, much less walk in, especially for the ridiculously high price that they're going for on this site. Grade: F

I never would have guessed that buying more expensive running shoes would be such a problem. My issue with the shoes that I have recently purchased: Asics GEL Kayano 28 "$159.95", Brooks Glycerin 19 "$49.95, and Hoka One One Clifton 8 "$129.95" (and promptly sent right back) is the spongy outer heel that collapses the moment that I put any weight on in. I litterally almost fell down when I first tried these shoes on. The outer rear heel of all of these pricey shoes just gives way and collapses when I put any weight on my heel. It feels very unstable and quite frankly dangerous just to walk in these shoes, much less run in them. All this "GEL IN THE HEEL" thing has gone too far. What sense does it make to make to OUTER PART OF THE HEEL AND SOUL SOFT AND SPONGY???? What next, goose feathers????? They're not HOUSE SLIPPERS!!! Grade on all three...."D- to F"

Asics GEL Nimbus 20 was my favorite. All the newer ones are garbage.

I have been using the Glycerin for at least 5 years now and found the shoe to be comfortable and good for a heavier runner. I purchased the Glycerin 19 because it was my go-to shoe that always fit. Unfortunately, on the new 19, they did something to the heel section that caused me to develop blisters within 2 miles of my first run with the shoes. Long story short check the fit before buying and I hope they work for you.

My husband usually wears the brooks gts but wanted to try something new! He loves them! They have more cushion and are lighter weight. He is very happy with these! Recommend sizing up 1/2 size from usual street shoe size.

I am a size 8 in normal dress shoes. I usually size up 1 full size in running shoes. However, in the last version that I purchased (Glycerin 18), I had to buy a size 9.5 - which has never happened before. So I ordered the same size when now buying the Glycerin 19. I guess they have corrected their ways. I am returning this pair and getting a size 9.0 (one full size) like normal!

Glycerin is super lightweight and priced plenty of cushion. I’ve been a Ghost wearer for years and decided to try a different model. Less support than the Ghost but a wonderful bounce on my runs. Definitely recommend this shoe

I went for my first run in these. 14.5 km or 9 miles. Very good cushioning and quite responsive. On the minus side my feet were soaked through and I could feel my feet squelching in these shoes after about 9km or 5.5 miles. Never really experienced this in other running shoes I have had. I have run in 30+ degrees and before and not experienced this. My run today was in 23 degrees and humid. I am not saying it is the fault of the shoe, but if you are prone to sweating a lot, then maybe try a different shoe. Apart from this one issue I was pleased with the feel and fit of the shoes.
