I like the shorts except for the wide waist band. I have many pairs of sherpa shorts and prefer the more narrow band.

A very good pair. Stitches could still be improved

Great shorts. The sizing is tricky. I?m a 34? waist and was steered to size L. Too big, have to cinch the drawcord so tight it puckers the waistband. Would still fall down if I put things in the pockets. Wish I would have purchased Medium.

I love these shorts, this is actually my first pair of nice running shorts and they honestly feel like I'm wearing nothing at all, however, I do have one complaint and that is the liner. The liner in my shorts is too small to hold my nethers, I went with a size small for my shorts which fits my waist great but I think I'm going to exchange for a medium to see if this helps with the liner issue.

Wanted to try a different short and this one is very good. Comfort and fit is excellent when running and good pockets too for longer run snack. They do hold quite a bit of sweat after a few miles in the heat so moisture wicking could be improved I guess. Its currently over 100F H.I. so not sure much can be done about that.. short still feels ok though.

In general, I love these shorts. I feel fast when I wear them. They are on the small size, so if you are in between two sizes, I'd go with the bigger size. My only gripe is that the back zippered pocket isn't even close to being big enough to fit my iPhone 11.

I?ve worn Brooks Sherpa 5? for several years. This is the first overhaul in the 6 years I?ve worn them and I admit I was skeptical but they nailed every detail. Kudos to the design team. Love the wide waist band and different pocket configurations. Super comfortable and somehow a significant upgrade over a pair of running shorts that I loved as they were. Sizing is perfect.

Great feel, incredible material especially the flat waist. Wasit fits slightly large/loose, but nothing that cant be tightened comfortably. I hardly notice that they are there. Very functional, great storage for long runs. Just for fun I saw how many gels would fit and I got about 6 (4 huma and 2 GU's). Would've given a higher rating but there are a few improvements that can be made. The worst is the drawstring, it is very hard to get a snug fit without losing tension when making a knot. Also my iphone 8 barely fits in the back pocket so if you have anything larger I wouldn't count on it fitting. Last is the liner rides up a bit, and doesn't stay in place.

The shorts are nice, but the sizing is a bit off for me. I wear medium in most things, but I'm probably in between medium and small. Should have gone with a small with these shorts. I do love all of the pockets.

The previous version of the Sherpa running short was the best I've found (only complain is that the side pockets were tough to access while running). After a few runs I've found that the new version tends to ride up a bit during a run which may be the result of the wide waistband. Because of that I prefer the previous version of the short.

Love that there are plenty of pockets and the fabric is comfortable. One area of improvement that I hope gets sorted is the drawstring as they are too short and often pull on the waist too much.

Solid 4. I like the material and pockets. super comfortable.I did size up to a large, the mediums were just a bit too snug. Only drawback: the material is light and breathable but doesn't have enough structure to it to truly hold a phone in place in the rear pocket.

Lightweight. Good fit. Really like the 5 inch inseam. No chafing with liner. Rear pocket a bit of a tight fit for iPhone 12 mini. Phone does not bounce around during runs which is great.

Overall I really like these shorts - they disappear when you run. No friction, no chafing, and they stay pretty dry. Rear pocket holds my iPhone 12 mini with room to spare and has minimal bounce. Side pockets are perfect for snacks. I also like the new waistband - it stays put without getting soggy. Only gripe is the draw string - it?s really thin. It?s good when you?re running because you don?t feel it but I have a hard time untying it quickly or with one hand.

Much better than the previous version, a lot more like the original which is still my favorite. Side pockets are finally useable again. Price needs to come down though.

Great shorts with pocket for phone + pockets for keys, gells, credit card, etc. Very well thought out. The band around the waist is different (wider than what I'm used to) but the wideband helps hold a phone steady.

I would give these a 5 star except for the fact the phone pocket is a little small. I had to remove the case from my iPhone 11 Pro to make it fit. Otherwise these are great shorts!!

Amazingly soft and lightweight. Waistband is a bit high. Took time to get used to it. After a mile or so, I didn?t notice it anymore. The inner liner was great for short runs, but gradually ran up a bit during longer runs.

Good pair of running shorts. Wore on a 10 mile run. They were comfortable. But I felt the shorts on the inside of my legs riding up often and I would have to readjust. Not a big deal and it could totally be my gait causing this. Liner is secure and kept everything in place.

Nice material and design, but the back pocket opening is too small for a regular size smartphone.

Product is very good, thats why i ordered it again. But !! Delivery time was very bad. Ordered on 28.3. With expected delivery date of 4-5.4. But it was delivered on 11.4. That?s just too slow, unfortunately I missed the package and it needs to be delivered to me by my family. Bad experience with your store, sorry.

I've pretty much had every iteration of the Sherpa short over the past 10 years maybe and I'm a tad disappointed by this version. I usually buy a size large, but compared to the last version (w/ no rubber coated rear zipper), the waist sizing is much larger. Also, when cinching the waist tie, the cheaper tie-fabric used now doesn't really hold a knot, it just loosens. Old versions had a stretchy shoe-lace type material that held much better. Still love the multiple high waist side pockets and rear pocket for long runs.

Pros: Lightweight, comfortable material. Length is as expected. Cons: Liner is much too narrow. Waistband could be more elastic; it tends to ride up. Side note: if I chose a smaller size, then the already narrow liner issue would be exacerbated.
