I would say they are worth their weight in gold. But apparently that's only ~7 ounces. They're awesome.

Super happy with the Hyperion Elite 2 !! I prefer them over my Hoka Carbon X , thanks Brooks !! They?re attractive, light, fast and I now only run in them because my mileage is low and they help me maintain proper form to reduce pain and niggles.

They are light, fast, and still provide cushion and comfort. I've been able to run straight out of the box in them for an hour--outstanding. I already bought a second pair since I was wearing them so often!

I wore these shoes yesterday for 13.1 miles and they were so light. I dropped 20 mins off my last half marathon time and I think it's the shoes. Yes they are expensive but they are worth every penny!!

WOW - super fast with quick turn over. I've been running in Hoka One One Carbon X and gave these a try. they are much faster with quicker turnover. Love the laces, and thin make up of the upper sole. The projected life of 300-400 miles was a game changer vs. the gen 1 shoes.
these felt so fast and very stable. Believe the hype!

Just bought this bad boys a week or so ago. Took them out for my long run and decided to test them out. I prefer the comfort much more over the Nikes 4%.
Very happy with not only the comfort but the result of my test run. They will no doubt by my race days shoes.

I've only run a fast tempo workout and an interval workout in these but I am very impressed. I was running faster paces than I felt like I was running, with ease. I'm planning on racing the B.A.A. (virtual) distance medley in them. I was an entrant for this year's Boston Marathon and had purchased a pair of Nike Next% in my excitement about qualifying and getting in. When Boston finally cancelled I immediately returned the Nike's because I was never confident in the fit (my toes on one side were hitting the toe-bumper but another size up would have been sloppy). I was excitedly anticipating a Brooks marathon "super-shoe", especially having enjoyed the Hyperion Tempos over the last 6 months or so (see my review of those). The HE2 are a joy right out of the box. I like many of the same things I love about the Tempos: the snug midfoot fit and ability to lock that in with the laces, the generous toe box, and the super light, breathable upper. Then there's that midsole which is springy and responsive and very protective at the same time. I like that the plate is not noticeable at slower paces where the roll design dominates, but at quicker paces it encourages you to fly, especially if you're a midfoot striker (as I am). Some people have expressed a wish for a gusseted tongue but for me the tongue stays put. Another issue some have mentioned is the heel collar rubbing and causing blisters on the Achilles area. To err on the side of caution, I put a little piece of tape there and had no problem. I expect that edge will soften with use anyway, but I'm sure Brooks is listening. Most of all, I want to emphasize that this shoe is comfortable, fun and stable. I'm a neutral runner but I ordered a couple of "super shoes" to try and had my husband film my feet from behind in slow motion while running on the treadmill. Despite the high stack height, my landings in this shoe were perfectly stable (normal, healthy pronation). In starkest comparison were the NB RC Elites, which had impressed me at first as being an extremely bouncy, fun shoe. However, we were shocked to see that they forced a pronounced extra movement at every footfall-a pronation I don't naturally have. Amplifying that over 26.2 miles cannot be a good thing, so I immediately returned them. When I finally took the HE2's outside and did those fast workouts, my legs felt fresher than they normally would after that kind of running, so I am very much looking forward to taking them to HM and marathon distance. I found my super-shoe!

I've taken them out on some training runs to break them in before the upcoming marathon. Both times I ran in them my mile splits decreased by 10- 15 seconds per mile. I've run in them on a easy run and tempo run so far with the same result. Effortless reduction in pace time. I'll wear them a few more times prior to the marathon to break them in a little more but they will be on my feet at the starting line 10/11. On a side note....I train daily in the Brooks Hyperion Elite which is also a great shoe.

Only 29 miles in these and I absolutely LOVE them. I normally wear mild - moderate stability shoes (Adrenaline GTS 19/20, Ravena 10, and Asteria), but these are stable enough while being neutral. Looking forward to lacing them up for the Virtual Marine Corps Marathon in a couple of weeks. Decided to wear these instead of my other neutral/but stable racer (Hoka Carbon X) because they're just as stable, are lighter, and the rocker sensation is less extreme and easier on my legs......Did I say they are FREAKIN' FAST?!!!

The Hyperion Elite's are amazing. They are light and responsive. Many they just wanted to run fast. Once I got rolling in these, I had a hard time slowing down. I absolutely love but I wish that they came in size 14. Size 13 is okay, but ideally I wish that I had a size 14. I'd even pay a surcharge for the Hyperion Elite in a size 14.

Ran my fastest half in these shoes! Love the feel and truly believe the technology helps to absorb impact and allow your running form to stay stronger for longer.
