Lightweight, snappy, fast, and amazing shoes. I will say that they're also substantially more expensive than the competitors' carbon fiber plated shoes. I also don't understand why- but both my Hyperion Elite 2 and Brooks Caldera shoes consistently come unlaced during my races. I have not had this issue with other manufacturers. Fits true to size. The bottom had decent grip for road running, but one might twist an ankle trail running. The uppers are so lightweight and breathable that I think they would be amazing in heat or rain. Furthermore, if you're wearing these in cold I would say you're probably running fast enough you'll appreciate the ventilation. I would avoid snowy or icy conditions, however. Overall I absolutely love them after the new laces I put in. I do however think that if a friend asked me for a recommendation I might recommend Saucony or Nike first. I absolutely love them but I don't think the value is there and the laces on Brooks shoes always seem to give me trouble.

Not really pleased with the way this shoe fits. Seems a little narrow so be precautious of that.

I really wanted to like these--they are VERY lightweight and I was able to run fairly fast in them. However, I'm a severe overpronator and took them out on an 8-mile long run to test them out before running a half and my legs were absolutely wrecked afterwards. I guess word of caution with race shoes is to either buy them in store and know for sure that the fit is right for you OR make sure you take them on a test run before your actual race :)

I was so excited to try these. I usually run in the Ghost. So disappointed as I have blisters. Never had this issue before.

A reminder to women that these are unisex sizing, so do not order your normal size! I first ordered my normal size (7.5) which was obviously too big in men's sizing. I then ordered the women's equivalent (6.5) and they were still a tad too big. I was very excited to get these as many of the professionals use them for fast racing, but they just didn't work for me. The heel felt off from the start of my run and just tore up both heels after only two miles of running. This is the first shoe in a long time that I could not wait to get off of my feet. I did feel that my legs felt less fatigued after my run, so that was a plus! Hoping for more of a Hyperion Tempo fit with carbon fiber technology!

So close..... but so far. Color-A+ Unisex-F why? Walking on a cloud.. A Toe box- thin material to wide. I was able to painfully suffer through a 5k run. I had to stop multiple times because my heel hurt. Something is very off. It's hard as a rock. It gave me blisters after 3.1 miles. The laces are stretchy and one mile long. I had to Triple tie them and then stick the test in my socks. Show is very narrow. I could have kept them if the shoelaces and heel were normal. Toe box material feels very thin. I can see it getting holes quickly. Brooks please make a women's speed shoe with a normal heel, tongue and laces... with the ability to tie runners knot.

I am not an elite runner, but in the short experience that I have with this pair of Brooks, it did not go so well, I acquired them in October, I started using them in November, I only have three 5k races, and one 10k ... .and it looks like the shoe has run two marathons; if you manage to see one of the photos, a hole was made in it; apparently I think they are for indoor running, not on the road as he describes; so I don't run happy.

Jury is still out on this one for me. I ordered my usual 6.5 and they were huge. I even double checked the box to make sure I hadn't been sent the wrong size by mistake. Returned for a smaller size.

Was really hoping this was going to be my "it" shoe, unfortunately - I was disappointed. Too stiff & felt the support was just not there.

Very hard soles. I do not like this shoe at all. I wish it wasn't too late to return but I thought they would break in.

They don't give back and don't feel any better than Hyperion Tempo. Heels felt unstable. Pace was the same in these shoes as with Glycerin 19s & Hyperion Tempos. For carbon, I'm sticking with Nike.

Cushiony but terrible quality for the price. The shoe laces are awful. These shoes are obviously made for male runners with lots of free time - as evidenced by their sizing - not for moms who work full time demanding careers, wake up at 4 am to run, and also study part time with 3 small kids. I don't have 10 minutes to get my shoe laces off in the morning. I don't have 5 minutes. I don't have 2 minutes. Shoe laces should be able to be untied in 30 seconds or less. Not reasonable. Terrible product.

I wanted to love these so much. I love the colors and wish they'd make other models in this combo! Unfortunately they gave me awful Achilles blisters and made my left toenail black and blue from rubbing after a 7 mile spin. They did cut time off my mileage which felt awesome! But sadly it just wasn't a fit overall.

I ordered these thinking they would be a great alternative to my Endorphin Pro's since I had a GC to Brooks. I ran 3 miles in them and they were stiff and hard, by .5 in I could feel my ankle and knee stinging. When I put them on originally they seemed so squishy and bouncy, but yet running in them felt like I had bricks glued to the bottom of my feet. Unfortunately I had to send them back. They are unisex, I wear an 8 in womens and ordered the 6.5 based on the size chart and they fit but werent as spacious as womens 8 feel.

Tongue shifts around and is way too thin! Exacerbated extensor tendons and had to take 10 weeks off from running?.. so disappointed

The size is totally wrong, I dont know if its because of the unisex size but nothing to do with the size of Ghost or Glycerin that I usually use for my runs. Actually you can put 2 fingers between my ankle and the edge of the shoe =( I was very sad when I tried them, because Ive been waiting for them like for a month ! I live in Mexico City and you dont have this model in here, so I order them to Cincinnati where my sisters lives and I waited for her to come to Mexico City Hope you can help me , because I cant use them !
