I love the feeling of running on a cloud but yet still feel the road. It doesn't matter if you are running a 5K or a marathon excellent shoe.

Have you ever just fallen head over heels for a shoe? Well, after breaking both my legs a few years ago, it's always been a challenge to find the right shoe with the right fit. Hyperion Elite 2 has done it, so much I own both colors. These are my go-to shoes for all my extended activities. (*Note they are Unisex and it took 3 tries to get the right fit, I wear a size 9 in women and wear a 7 in these)

Having tried the Nike Vaporfly and the Nike Tempo Next % and not loving them, I decided to try the Hyperion Elite. I was a little worried because of all the reviews that said the heel slipped and caused terrible blisters. So knowing that going in, and having narrow heels, I wore my thicker socks and did a heel lock with my lacing. If you have narrow heels and don't know what that is, please do yourself a favor and Google how to do it. It has saved many a shoe for me. I took these for a 14 miler right out of the box and had no problems! No blisters, no hot spots. The whole thing stayed snug while the wide toe box is heaven! I had a knee replacement a year ago and these saved wear and tear on my knee.

I have 280 miles on my shoes, and have set all new PR's with them! I run in them for all my training runs so that when the race comes my biomechanics and feet are used to the movement pattern. Tread is still good, shoe is still fast, and no other issues! Overall a 5 star shoe and will be getting another pair when I can reward myself! ?

Excellent shoe. I've tried every terrain possible even the treadmill which was the best and the Hyperion handled every situation with aplomb! Great Job Brooks.

Being in my 50's and having had a number of knee reconstruction surgeries you'd think my running days are over. Not so. There are a limited number of high cushion, neutral stability shoes that actually work for me on a treadmill and I run every day. These are the first shoe in years that have pushed me to give it a go outside on asphalt again and they're great! I no longer attempt any type of speed like these shoes are designed for but the combination of weight, cushion, stability and the unbelievable rocker motion this sole creates have me back outside a few days a week and I feel free. Don't get me wrong, after the injuries I've sustained to my knee's I feel very fortunate to be able to get on a treadmill at all, but as any runner would tell you. "The freedom of running in the elements is like nothing else." I love these and I thank Brooks for making such an awesome shoe.

This is a great shoe right out of the box! They are super light and when I have worn them my runs have been faster. I wish there were more colors though.

At first I was very skeptical. After the second mile they formed to my foot and it seemed like the new foam softened. You won't even know they are on your feet. Just ran a quick 5 miles to "break" them in and plan on running in them two more times before the marathon. Bought them early to make sure they were the ones. Now I dont want too much wear before the big day. I might just use them a few more long Saturdays, but have decided to buy the Tempo trainers as well. You won't believe how Happy you feet will be!

Signed up for a half marathon randomly and these shoes saved my legs. My training in the past 6 months has been about 100 miles total and my longest run being 6 miles. I was able to finish around 7:10 pace and legs felt great the next day.

Amazing running shoe. I am recreational runner that enjoys doing some organized runs, 5K, 10K and 1/2 marathon. I do have a replaced right hip and problem feet. These shoes are fantastic. Very lightweight with great stability. Rocker heel helps a bunch. Too sum it up they are so fast that I feel like I am running to catch up to them.

I am loving these shoes! I have lower back impingements on my left side that irritate my sciatic nerve and my piriformis muscle. My running decreased significantly, but with therapy and the hyperion elite 2 shoes I am getting stronger and gaining more miles every day! It's the support, the cush, and the nitrogen infused DNA FLASH that has made the world of difference for me ?

First experience with carbon plate shoes. I like them a lot. They do make you a bit faster, but the real benefit is how much less tired your legs are. I like the roomy toebox, as it allows your toes to splay naturally. The heel cup is a bit too roomy, but I've found that some Vaseline and tying the shoelaces in a runner's lock pretty much fixed that. The biggest thing to get used to is the foam stack. Almost everything else you wear is lower to the ground. While I find them stable, I had to be aware of my stride the first couple of times. Can't wait to race in these in a couple weeks!

I LOVE this shoe!!! The minimal design, responsive foam and springy carbon plate make for some fun, quick miles! My only complaint is that the glue/plastic around the heel slices into my Achilles. I ordered a second pair since the first pair only caused this issue on the left side, but the new pair causes it on both. It's an easy fix with tape and I might even file it down to be less sharp, but hope future editions can not have this tiny issue. Looking forward to several pairs of these!!!

Love these for longer and faster runs. It's more stable than the cushiony ride on the Next% and really helps in the late miles by reducing the overall work I've done. From my experience: Don't a ton of spring or cushion but DO expect reduced fatigue over time, steady above-average speed and pacing (crucial for marathons), and better post-run recovery (equally as important as the actual training). For hills, it seems to propel going uphill and boost the downhill turnover. I've even used the Hyperion Elite for recovery runs since I can get the legs moving without as much effort. For speedy runs and short race PRs, I prefer the Hyperion Tempo.
