Great light weight support pushing you forward. This shoe is like a Indy car!! Put a hat on to keep your hair down.

If they can keep the performance exactly as it is and go for ultra light weight, it would be the number one road racing/ training shoe.

These are fabulous running shoes. Put them on and take off for a run.

I am a long-time Brooks shoe runner (>10 years wearing Brooks shoes). Always love Launch and Ghost. While training for a few marathons this year, I decided to try Hyperion Elite 2. I order a pair of size 9, which is the size I wear for Launch and Ghost. However, because my second toe is longer than my big toe, the front of the shoe kept pushing my toes during the first a few runs and it hurt badly. So I returned them and order another pair of size 9.5. I just wore them this morning for a 18-mile run. It was PERFECT! The balance of speed and cushion is superb! I felt I was flying sometimes because the ultralight cushion :-). The description of Hyperion Elite 2 says "Best stride. Every stride." So true! I am going to run the upcoming Martha Vineyard marathon in these shoes and I know it will help my performance a great deal!

This is a great shoe, but I think it runs big. Super comfortable and great support all along the foot.

I HAVE ALWAYS RAN IN THE MORE NEUTRAL GHOST AND THE FIRST TIME I PUT THE HYPERION ON I WAS AMAZED AT THE KICK OFF. I DEFINTELY BELIEVE THE SHOE MATTERS. I WILL BE RUNNING A 5K ON JULY 4TH AND I BELIEVE I WILL GET TO THE 18:00 MINUTE MARK.

Nice shoes for race, very light and comfortable

This shoe runs above average compared to other carbon plated shoes I have tried. Stability, fit, cushion and speed are it's attributes. It is my go-to for speed work, long runs and 13.1 and 26.2 mile races.

To break into them before my first half-marathon I tried them on during my speed workout and my feet felt amazing. I felt the efficiency in my running gait and the push forward on my foot felt just right. I can't wait to wear these babies for my first half this April!

Really happy with these. I took them on one test (long) run before racing a half marathon in them, and they performed great. Very springy and light, and the shoe propels you forward. I don't think you could heel strike in these even if you tried. The upper is quite minimal, so I find that I need to tie these a little more snug just to feel secure in the hold. I have a full marathon in a couple of months, and these will definitely be my racing shoe.

After taking a few years off from racing, these sneakers were completely different (in a good way) from what I was used to. For half marathons or less I always used Brooks T7 and ST5 for marathons. So coming from a minimalist-low cushion racer to the Hyperion was completely new experience. The Hyperions felt light, comfortable and bouncy. I didn't experience any blistering or chaffing in the Achilles area as others have described. The sneakers propel me throughout the race and definitely delayed the onset of leg fatigue.

Finally found the perfect Carbon Fiber shoe for marathons. I tried the Next %, but they were too narrow and hurt my feet too much, and I tried the Endorphin line and it just was not bouncy enough. These are the perfect balance of comfort and speed. Great for the long run and speed training. Of course I will be wearing these at my next race!
