It dose not keep my water as cold as the standard top. And it leaks a little.

Purchased 4 months ago and the insulated small mouth sports lid leaks. Difficult to send to school with kids for that reason. Redesign lid or make a straw lid for kid friendly use. LOVE all my 4 other Hydroflasks!!!

Iv had this sports top for awhile now, and other than the fact that it leaks if you hold it upside down, which is frustrating because I can't just throw it in my bag w/o the fear of it leaking all over my things. Other than that I love my hydroflasks to death! Just not this top.

The sport cap is noted as being quiet on the back of the tag but mine is very noisy and I seem to get a lot of air while drinking from it. The flask itself is great, and that I would certainly recommend but I think the design and plug of the Insulated Sport Cap need to change.

Works great until the little plug falls out when you're washing it, now it just leaks.

I bought for my kids to bring to school. Top leaks when tipped on side or upside down. Not a great feature for school age kids.

Leaks - hard for my kids to push it down and it leaks all over their school bags

We purchased this top for our two granddaughters and within 3 weeks the both started to leak

I wish it didn't leak. I need to read better on this one. Not great for younger kids who tip things or put in backpacks.

Super loud to drink out of. Why is it so loud to drink from

Difficult to drink from. The carry loop presses against your face no matter which way you turn it and the flow of liquid is restricted.

Not good for hot items. Only cold that's 50% of usage.

Biggest downside to this too is that your water bottle must remain upright at all times or it will leak. Like most similar tops, it will need to allow air in as water is being consumed. Unlike other companies, it's item has a hole going directly from the top to the bottom, unlike other companies, there is no one way valve allowing air in without water escaping. Design significantly limits the usefulness of bottle, can't just toss it in a pack. Can't recommend item. I suggest a redesign like the camel companies

I bought a new Standard Mouth Sport Cap because the one I had was leaking and I thought it was old and needed replacement. Unfortunately, the new one leaks too. Not a fan of this particular cap. However, the 32oz Wide Mouth Bottle with Straw Lids are terrific!!

Until or unless something other than the flip top comes into production - I do like this pop-up BUT it has too many areas for build-up that'll turn moldy. I have 3 different sizes of baby bottle cleaners & I submerge the cap to clean in bleach and water but eventually ya just haft replace them at a hefty price, imo.

I dropped the lid once and it broke in two pieces...kind of pricey for that quality

I purchase the standard mouth 24 oz to have a sealed container to pack for working outside. As a Floridan hydration is a key to overall comfort and longevity outdoors. My first mistake was buying the standard mouth Hydro Flask. I guess that I drink with gusto and the SM Flask meant I drank half and wore half on my chest. So I ordered the SM Sport Cap hoping to control the flow of water and not wear so much. That did not happen. Also the original screw off cap is a bit of a pain. Now equipped with the Sport Cap I assume the flask now has a vapor lock so the liquid volume is reduced dramatically. One last piece is the flask does not keep water as cold as long as your competitor. So I am disappointed.

I bought two sports caps for my kids; one is great the other leaks.

So I've bought the hydroflask for my son because he goes to school and he was getting annoyed with water getting warm! So I caved and got him one. He loves it! However, now the lid is starting to constantly leak :'( it's a fight almost every morning to attempt to fix it and bit of a annoying. It's like you've got to be gentle with it? Other than that we love the hydroflask. We all have one, however my sons is the only one that leaks!

This is our second sports cap and it leaked immediately. So frustrated! I love my Hydroflask products but not happy with sports cap at all. Using for my daughter and the minute it tips over in her backpack, everything is wet :( Might not be the best option for kids

I wish the bottle came with an option to choose the cap you want, as I never use the one it came with but always the sports came I had to buy separately. It works well enough, but it does leak. I thought it might just be my lid that leaks but, same happens on my husbands bottle and my daughters. A bit disappointing but works OK as long as its kept upright!

We've gone through 5 sets of 4 caps and am waiting on another set to be mailed out. Some leak immediately and others take a few days before they begin to leak. Some are a slow drip and others are a stream of water. They work great for our children but we pray that we can find some that don't leak. Odd how they are touted as leak proof.

Leaks a lot...from day one. Bought last year in October. I wish hydroflask would improve and replace.

I've had this cap for about 6 months and it's been leaky the entire time. I have to be very careful to close it very tightly, and even then it still seems to leak a bit. However, it does seem to be secure around where it seals to the water bottle, it's just the mouthpiece that's the issue. I wish that there were some sort of cap or something you could get to cover the sip part.

Bought about 2 months ago- this cap always leaks! no matter how tight you think it is it always leaks! Horrible!
