It's okay, but it makes a high pitched squeal when I drink from the bottle with it, which is kind of a bummer.

The bottle I have has a smaller opening. The sport cap is too big, but you don't make one smaller. I'll need to order a bottle to fit the sport cap

I like my "original" Standard Mouth Sports Cap better than this one. This one is OK, but I am not real happy.

My daughter takes this to school with her everyday and today the seal in the air breather broke and was leaking in her face. This is the second one she has had and it was a Christmas present.

If you pull the mouthpiece out all the way, it makes an annoying sound. Wish they had a straw cap for standard mouth.

Sport bottle lid leaks if it's upside down. Huge bummer as this is the only type of lid my daughters like to drink out of.

Not exactly sure which direction to sip from. My wife and I both have one she sips with the hand facing up, I sip with the handle facing down. The handle tends to hit my nose when I sip here way, and the handle hits the chin when she sips my way. It's be nice if the handle was adjustable like the the regular lid. Other than that.. the lid does it's job, no complaints.

I got these tops for my elementary age kids to use at school. They work great but if the bottle is not up right, they leak. No matter how hard I press. So if they end up on their side in a book back or gym bag, it is a problem.

This works well, and makes it much easier to drink from the bottle than the standard cap. However, the vent makes a somewhat obnoxious amount of noise when drinking quickly, and it leaks slightly from the closed nozzle if the bottle is tipped upside down.

I bought this sipper cap less than a month ago. I dropped the flask on a wood floor today and the lid cracked! Going to see about a replacement.

I bought this a month ago, I knew it would come in handy for sport activities. Wish it had a spout cover!

I've enjoyed this cap and it started to clog and I couldn't get any liquid to come out. I cleaned it thoroughly and when I would try suck the liquid nothing came out. Not easy to find this anywhere so it took quite awhile to replace

I wanted a straw for my hydroflask but because I didn't get the wide mouth bottle, I couldn't have a straw top. I opted for the sports cap but it leaks and is hard to open. Also, I feel like a hamster when I drink from it. Consider making a straw cap for all size bottles!

this sports cap would be perfect if it had the hinged handle on the standard cap.

I really liked it until that valve fell off somewhere and started leaking. It would be great if there was a replacement

I've had absolutely no issues with this cap leaking, as some past reviewers noted. I've used it with piping-hot tea and ice-cold water, and had no leaking for either temperature range. Generally, it works as intended. However, the loop hits my nose as the bottle contents start to get low, causing me to need to tilt my head back more than I like to. And while the lid is fine for some activities, it needs a cover for the mouth piece for others. This is a hard one - the rigid loop is good for being able to clip it with a carabiner, and not all activities would cause the mouth piece to get dirty. Most of the time I end up just taking the lid off.

I own four different Hydro flasks, obviously I love them. But my latest one with the sport cap started to leak after only two months. I just sent in my warranty request and will see how it goes, then I will review their customre service.

MY insulated sport cap says "not intended for hot liquids" but someone asked if it could be used for hot liquids & the answer was yes. Which is correct the answer... here or what it said on my cap information? Also, I would love to have a flip cap with a straw for my Hydro Flask, please make one. I can't send this without a rating. I haven't used it yet so I gave all average ratings

I bought this in November and was really happy with it until it started leaking very bad about a month and a half later. Since it was after the thirty day waranty they couldn't replace it for me :( other than the leaking I love it

My daughter has a 21oz with the sports cap. it leaked in her school bag and water damaged multiple school books (aka hundreds of dollars I now owe the school). The bottle itself is great and keeps drinks cold for 24 hours or more and 12 hours in 90+ heat. I submitted a warranty claim for the sports cap and am very impressed with the companies customer service! I got a reply and a replacement sent the same day for no charge, free shipping, and no hassle of returning the defective lid! I just hope they fix the design issue, as it seems most of the complaints are leaking issues.
