Recieved as a gift...Left shoe was smaller than the right shoe believe it or not..horrid smell..quality unlike previous shoes purchased..not happy..

I have bought these for years, I am disappointed in the fit they have now. I have been a 6 for years and with heavier socks they are ok but I could wear lighter socks or even no socks for a great fit. Going down a half size would not be the solution because the length is fine. Sitting the new ones next to a pair I bought last year you can see the difference in width, the new ones are wider. I am not sure I will be getting these again with this new sizing. I am not sure if you changed manufacturer , but the shape, sizing is different.

fleece sole pad does not stay in place. had to remove.

While well mwde not so comfortable. Wished it had better arch support. Had i not ordered these on line and had tried then on in a stire I would not have bought them.

I have worn Merrell Encore's for years and I must say, this particular shoe is different than all the others. I have always taken a size 6, except this time. Had to return it because it was too big. Also, they just don't stay on my feet like my old ones so I don't know if they're being made larger than they used to be, or what is going on. Long and short of it: Not as impressed as I used to be.

This pair just seems different than all the Merrell shoes I have worn over the years. Merrill's still is the best

I have purchased this same shoe for a few years, and will get new ones when the older get a little shabby. This year I did the same, and noticed right away the styling/shape etc had changed to incorporate obvious seaming down the front/sides and a more bulbous toe. It now resembles my old everyday Merrell "clog-like" shoe which is comfortable but LOOKS LIKE A CLOWN SHOE. My previous Encore Ice were a bit slimmer/streamlined, no obvious seaming and none of the cheap looking cross stitching. I see no reason to buy a "cute" shoe that is no longer cute. I'm not sure if comfortable, it did seem a bit wider and fleece lining a bit thinner.

This is my fourth pair. Two of the pairs have squeaked on right shoe since purchase. Otherwise I really like them but squeaking annoying.

I tried 2 pairs of this model after loving an older model for the past 4 or 5 years. Initially trying on, they are divine, but after a short wear, they stretch out wide from side to side and began to squeak with no amount of intervention fixing. I thought maybe I ordered a wide pair accidentally, but no...just the regular ones. I might try again if there were a narrow option but I am not seeing that. Merrell, please go back to the previous model stats! Those still fit perfect, just are pretty worn out. I had to return these.

I have 5 previous pairs that I wear all the time. I ordered a new pair in navy size 5 and they are way way too big...it's too bad, I love this shoe, but the size 5 when delivered is a 36- please bring back your 35's that are true 5's.. sadly returned..

Bought these for my wife, it is her 2nd pair but is a completely different shoe. Size is bigger and wider. Merrell great about exchanging them but after reading the reviews of others experience with the same shoe, I am very disappointed in the change in quality.

The quality of the shoe seems to be excellent and the width is great in the wide, but the heel cup is so shallow that it would not stay on my foot. It seemed that the heel was "walking out of the shoe" at every step. Will have to return even though I did try a smaller size to try to fix the issue.

I've been wearing Merrells for years, I wear a 9 and the fit has been right on, not with these. My foot slides around, arch doesn't hit in the right spot, am afraid to wear outside in case I slip out of the shoe and trip.
