I like the way they fit; they're comfortable. But I realize I need more support than a mule like this one can provide. I wanted an easy-on, easy-off shoe for general purpose winter wear. However, because of knee issues, I needed a shoe that provides more stability than this style gives me.

Warm and comfortable, but looked so huge on my size 10 feet that I returned them. Even at 78, I don't like wearing 'grandma' shoes

So bummed out, width is great, got the wide, but length, makes shoe sloppy even with smart wool socks

This is my third pair of these comfortable and durable shoes, and I was wary when another reviewer wrote that her most recent pair was larger than in the past. I went ahead and ordered the size I have always worn and, indeed, they were larger than in the past. I am returning them for a half-size down, and the assistance I got on the phone to make this happen was top-notch, making the entire exchange easy as can be. I returned the original purchase and look forward to getting my new smaller-sized clogs, hoping they fit like the old ones. Fingers crossed. (Just beware: Merrell has evidently “grown” these shoes!)

This would have been my 4th pair of Merrell Encore Ice shoes. Unfortunately it seems they have changed the design with this new version. No where near the arch support that previous versions had and seems overall larger and sloppy. Also, these seemed to have a thinner layer of sheepskin lining than previous pairs. The reason I loved the previous version of this shoe was its snug fit and the great arch support and these have neither. Not sure if this has anything to do with these being smooth leather and all my previous pairs were suede.

So disappointed. There is no cushioning in the foot bed, just a furry removable insole. Cute style and true to size but I need cushioning .

I had read reviews that if you are wearing the older version of this shoe (no longer available) that you need to down size as this runs big and wide. I went down one whole size and they still seem a little big and much wider than the previous version. I wear these shoes primarily as slip ons to take my dog outside so I can handle them fitting a little large. I wouldn’t be able to wear them out and about much. I’m hoping this winter with a sock they will fit a little better.

Kind of stiff and clunky. Weird cheap insole that is just a flimsy piece of furry fabric. I doubt it would last very long. With that in the show, there is almost no arch support. I tried to put in an orthotic but they were still kind of wide for my foot. They wear like a shoe but look like a big clunky slipper. I’m sending them back.

I love these shoes. However the insole started folding and moving around within months of getting it. Not sure if new insoles will help

They fit perfectly and I loved the way they look. But I don't think they have the support I need as a nurse on my feet all day long. I didn't want to wear them all day and then be unable to return them. Just walking around my house I was starting to feel discomfort. Disappointed, as I had been told Merrell was a great brand.

Fit was different than previous versions.

These are a little clompy and use them as slippers mostly. Don't like the way they look with jeans
