I'm in the northeast and take care of school grounds. I have been out for hours using either snowblower, tractor or shovel. You get cold and wet. But my feet stayed dry and warm. The salt washed of easily.

I have only had these a few weeks but have done 3 shorter (around 3 miles) hikes in them so far. All the hikes have been through 5-6in of snow and 5-20F, My feet have stayed toasty and very dry. They are light weight too! Very happy with my purchase.. now need to find my husband a mens pair. They are a little roomy if you are wearing them with thin socks but they are winter boots, so I wear them with thick wool socks. They fit perfect with thicker socks.

needed winter hiking boots, high enough to not let the snow in, good grip, waterproof. these had all that + a broad base of support- so i feel safer walking on ice, warm but not too warm (current outdoor temp 8 degrees, toes toasty in 1 pair of wool socks). medium arch support, relatively roomy toe box. i am extremely happy with this purchase. only downside so far is they are definitely not sexy, but my dogs, and my feet don't care.

I bought these back in October as the weather was changing to replace a pair of much-loved but worn-out Keens. I wear a 7 or 7.5, and bought a 7.5 to be sure they would fit. I could have gone with the 7, but they fit well with plenty of room at the toes. I have Raynaud's syndrome and need boots that will keep my feet warm during our MI winters. I was worried when these arrived because they seem so thin and light. However, it's mid January and my feet have never gotten cold in these boots even without wool socks on. My feet are also somewhat wide, and it's disappointing how narrow other brands are - these boots fit my feet well.

I love this shoe! It's perfect. I have narrow feet and usually wear a size 10N. The size 9.5 fits me perfectly. I suggest sizing down by a 1/2 size if you have narrow feet. I think that this shoe is stylish and comfortable. I'm happy with my purchase!

My first time buying Merrell boots. Wow. I have some feet issues and needed winter boots for Chicago weather to walk my dog about 4 miles a day. These are so comfortable, light and warm. I had Keen winter boots prior to this and they were awful on my feet- terrible blisters, heavy and pain across the top of me feet when walking. These are a godsend. I found them a tad big. Go with regular size if you want to wear thick/ multiple socks. Otherwise maybe a half size down. Super fast shipping. GET THEM.

Great boot but not true to size. They run big. I'm a solid size 8 in every Merrell shoe I own (I own a lot of Merrells) and I was swimming in the size 8 in these boots. My heel lifted completely out of the boot. Super disappointed as I have worn them and now cannot return them. I also needed them for a snowy excursion and was not able to wear them. Not even with thick socks.

These are completely comfortable, extremely roomy, I bought in my normal size. Made a repeat customer out of me. I don't like narrow shoes, so if your foot is very narrow, you might need some thick socks. I think the boot conforms to any width of foot though.

Great boots - extra warmed waterproof - going to go snowshoeing and dog sledding - these boots will keep me warm and safe.

They're great they're warm I've been out fishing with them in 30 weather in snow and rain keeps my feet warm and dry also hiked with them very comfortable. Can't wait to go snowshoeing with them

Second day wearing these as we just recently got our first brunt of winter here. Slick sidewalks makes for challenging walks, but felt more assured with my steps with these boots. No boot is slip proof - just like winter tires - but these make you feel safe and much more solid on your feet.

I followed the advice of other reviews that the fit is accurate described. I ordered my regular size and there was enough room that I can wear my nice thick winter socks comfortably. I haven't put them through a test for warmth, because the winter months have not arrived, but I think they will perform well for me. They are very comfortable!!! LOVE Merrells

I've never ordered footwear online and was nervous about the size. My previous Merrell front zipper boots are size 9.5. My foot is narrow. Based on reviews, I ordered size 9. They fit perfect, have good arch support, pretty good traction, and are lightweight. I actually forgot I was wearing boots when hiking. I would definitely recommend.
