Soooo comfortable! Not stiff like most snow boots. Great to wear all day. Definitely waterproof.

I'm really enjoying my new boots. I haven't had a chance to hike in them, but they have done great in snow and some ice. My feet were nice and toasty. I only wish I had ordered my true size and not my running shoe size, but that's on me. Loving the gray and purple combo. Super comfortable, but I feel they do run a little wide and I struggle getting them tight enough over my feet, again that could just be because should have gotten half size smaller. Overall great boot and you can definitely tell these are well-made and will last.

Half of my plantar fascia is missing, so shoe selection is important to me. These boots are fabulous! I work in these for about 9 hours when it rains. I did not even replace the insole like I did on my hiking Merrels.

Warm and comfortable! I live at the shore and am always out on the beach or the marsh in some pretty cold temps. My Merrel's did not disappoint!

Very warm and waterproof, I've used these for hiking in snow and snowshoeing. They are comfortable out of the box and didn't have to break them in at all. They run a little big, but it's good because I wear thick socks with them anyways.

Took them snow shoeing and hiking on the Oregon coast. Very versatile and kept my feet warm in both snow and water

Just received these boots today and I love them. I purchased a 6.5, my normal size and they fit perfect with a thick pair of socks. Didn't have to break them in, wore them right out of the box.These boots were warm, comfortable, and gripped well on the snow. So glad I purchased these.

So... I'm a fan of Merrell, I own a few models but I needed new snow boots for this Chicago winter, I walk an average of 5 hours everyday with my dog, with the snow up to my tights, so... based on other reviews I orders the Aurora 2 mid, and wow! Perfect in every way, I usually wear 7.5 and that what I ordered, perfect fit no need of a bigger size, I already shovel snow for about 1 hours and I didn't even remember about the cold! I just love them, as you can see I got home from work wearing Merrells and I'm ready for my new ones :)

These are very light weight boots. Very comfortable right out of the box. True to size 9. Hence why I only buy Merrell. I have been a solid Merrell Customer for over 20 years. I have the clogs, low cut shoes and several pairs of boots. They last for years!

I live in WI and needed a pair of boots that were warm and would keep my feet dry in the slushy snow. These boots are perfect!! I love them!!

I have been wearing these for a few weeks now in Interior Alaska. We went for a 2 hour walk with -24F wind chills, they keep my feet perfectly warm!

I love my waterproof merrells and the higher shaft on this boot is great. But I wish it was a bit more feminine with a little bit of faux fur or shearling at the top!

I am very happy with this purchase. I ordered them in need of a good pair of winter hiking boots, since I had been planning a trip up to the Adirondacks. I received the boots within two days of ordering, a couple days earlier than expected which was a welcome surprise since they were supposed to arrive on the day I was leaving. I broke these boots in on a 6.6 mile hike up St. Regis Mountain. It was very snowy that day and they held up great. Very comfortable, and my feet stayed dry and warm. I had a small blister on one ankle which I honestly expected since it was my first time wearing them and it was a decent hike. However since then I have had no blisters and I love these boots!

These are super waterproof, super warm boots! I love them for hiking with my dogs or shoveling my drive!

These boots are warm and comfortable with great non slip tread. I wear them for working outside in all kinds of weather. I am on my feet all day. Love these. Highly recommended.

I needed boots that had some support, since I wanted to use them for walking about in the cold and snow. I love my Merrell hiking shoes, so was looking for a similar boot. I am very happy with this purchase. The coldest day I went on a walk so far it was 10 above (fahrenheit). My feet did not get cold at all. They are better than my former boots for walking where there is ice (though I am still cautious). The support is great, great for walking through the nature preserves around here.

These boots are great and well insulated, enough so, that I can wear my thinner sport socks with outside temps in the teens. However, the boots do fit better with mid weight socks. We had a lot of snowfall in northeast PA recently, and these boots are definitely waterproof and rugged for walking in and even fit well with my snowshoes. I also like the gator ring which is a plus when using those when the snow is really deep.

Literally, these boots are wear-ready out of the box! No need to size up to accommodate bunions or a wide foot. I have both but the boot is quite comfortable. Had to cancel a January hike in Gatlinburg but am wearing them for long walks in Kentucky's cold weather and they have kept me warm. I am a long-time hiker at 66. These are the first mid height boots I've bought to hike in. All other boots I've tried over the years were not comfortable. Like the Moab shoe, I highly recommend this boot.

After having a pair of Ugg Adirondacks for years and years, I was nervous to switch to a new winter boot, but Merrell never lets me down. These boots are comfortable from the first minute, warm, and surprisingly light. I haven't worn them on a long hike yet, but have several hours in them on shorter jaunts.
