These great hiking boots were very comfortable the first time I wore them. I've broken them in on a few hikes now and I'm looking forward to taking them to Oregon soon where I'll be doing some beautiful hikes.

The minute I put these on I was out the door hiking. Hands down the best fitting, most supporting, comfy boots I've ever had. I love them! I tromped through snow, mud, rain puddles. My feet were warm and dry. They run true to size with room for your wool socks.

These boots are amazing! Light weight, warm, water proof, and very comfortable. These boots were perfect for my snowmobile trip out west. I couldn't believe it!

Excellent waterproof hiking boots! I went through rivers for sure during a hike and stayed dry! Went through all types of terrain: dry gravel, mud, water, and logs. Definitely great buy!

Best winter boots! I'd recommend getting a half a size smaller than your usual size, they fit a little bigger. Totally waterproof and great for winter walks.

These are great boots overall. the tongue is a bit stiff and the top comes to a place on my calf and shin that rubs a bit and requires more than one pair of socks - but the reviews are right: these are sized for an extra pair of socks. If you usually wear size 7, get that size IF you want to wear extra socks. In the windy, salty city of Chicago you need waterproof (AND salt-proof, AND warm) boots to get you through the omnipresent slush ponds and these do the trick. Other boots were giving me heel spurs, and once I started wearing these the problem was alleviated. I can do my 1.5 mile daily walks with no pain and suspect I could walk much farther.

I wore these boots in the snow in Indiana and snowmobiling in Montana and my feet stayed warm in both locations. I went with a half size bigger to allow for thicker socks but I think I could of stayed with my normal size. I'm extremely happy with this boot. It's warm, comfortable, and taller than my previous boots that allowed snow to get inside while working in deep snow. I would like to find a similar boot or shoe like this to wear without insulation. The grip has been good and I felt secure. Heavily traveled snow is extremely slick and even though these shoes seem stable I walk cautiously to be safe. The bigger test will be for even colder temperatures and longer time in cold conditions to give me the full impression of this boot but so far they've met my needs.

I love mine! I'm a mail lady in N Ohio, and these did the job! My feet stayed dry, warm, and for the most part slip resistant. I walk on average 9 miles a day, and these give great support!

Already hiked 16 miles total, no blisters. love and highly recommend.

A great winter boot! My feet did not get wet tromping through miles of snow and mud. Very toasty too. A little too toasty for a 50* day, but dry feet were nice!

They fit perfectly and feel warm, the east coast winter was getting out of hand so I bought them, but haven't had the opportunity to wear them as yet since the snow has stopped.

Comfy, warm, light-weight, easy-on, classy-looking! The 7's (my normal size) fit..but snugly. I decided to keep the 7 1/2's for a little more wiggle room, especially if I ever want to use toe warmers or wear 2 pair of socks. So very pleased! Sorry that these great boots are hidden in the photo by snow pants and snowshoes, but I couldn't wait to try them out for a walk in our fields in PA after a very snowy February. Love them!

Runs a half size big. Wear them for snowshoeing. Front D ring for gaiter and rear bootheel for snowshoe binding a plus! Warm, dry quickly. Comfy! We will see how long they last. So far these Merrells are great!

Boots are really nice, lightweight and comfortable; however, they are very Big, size down at least one full size. I normally take a 7 in other Merrill boots; however, had to return as they were way too big.

Great boot! Keeps your feet warm and dry. Fits true to size. They have some bend and move easily with you. Can wear thin and thick socks comfortably. Had to return several nice quality boots because they would rub on my ankles. These Merrells are a gem, no rubbing or blistering.

So comfortable! Usually it takes me about a month to break into boots, but with these they fit like a glove. I was worried at first because I have wide feet. But my feet feel so supported and steady when walking in the wintery tundras of Chicago! Also, no need to size up. These are true to size :)

These boots have great traction on icy surfaces. I live on a steep hill and winters are treacherous. I've had other brands but these are by far the best. They're also warm and comfortable!
