Bought these boots about 2 months ago. I have to say that these are the most comfortable boots I have worn. I am a huge Salomon fan, and there products and customer service are bar none.

I love mine the speed lace is perfect - very convenient

These shoes keep you dry and have great support when out on the trails, hiking and rock hopping. The shoes materials are durable and are easy to clean up after being out in the elements. The traction of the shoes are incredible and really enhance your confidence when out on the trails.

I bought this shoe specifically for doing large, rigid hikes (due to the ankle support and aggressive grip) in the summer-fall seasons. But I also found myself using it consistently during my hikes in the winter aswell, as I found it was high enough to keep most snow out, Goretex so it keeps my feet dry, and the grip help up against anything I threw at it. Great all around hiker. Very happy with my purchase.

except, I do wish there was one more lace point at the ankle. They tend to loosen. An I'm concerned about pulling too tightly and breaking the laces or mechanism.

I bought these less than a week ago and have been on 3 different hikes and put almost 20 miles on them. The lacing system took a little bit of getting used to, but I like the speed and convenience. On my snowy hike yesterday I had more traction than any other hiker on the trail, and my feet stayed perfectly dry. I am concerned about durability after seeing all the problems others have had, but so far mine are doing great.

I bought these only a few weeks ago and i love these, they are very comfortable to walk in, the other day i did 12 miles and they were the best purchase i had ever made.

I was very excited to get them. Thus far amazed! No disappointment.

I wanted something a little lighter than a boot, taller than a trail running shoe, water resistant and knobby to deal with New England winters, trails and light snow. These fit the bill. I've only had them a few weeks, but I've generally had very good durability and performance from Salomon products over the last 20 years.

I must admit I was was slightly nervous about getting these boots due to the reviews I had already read on here. I am a canine psychologist and dog trainer and I normally walk about 10 miles a day in all sorts of conditions. I have used other walking boots over the years but I have always found the too heavy. My mission was to find a pair of gortex boots that were waterproof and light. I have had these boots for about a month and I've worn them everyday, so I've probably walked about 300 miles. I can honestly say I've been blown away by their performance and they've kept my feet dry in all conditions. Now just to be clear, I don't avoid mud or puddles, I plough straight through anything because I'm normally concentrating in the dogs I'm working with. I had read some reviews on here saying that they weren't waterproof and the glue had unstuck but I can honestly tell you they have obviously sorted this manufacturing problem because mine are still perfect. I was also sceptical about the laces but I find them brilliant. If I had to criticise them in anyway it would be for the lack of support in the arch area because they are very flat but I have resolved this problem by sticking better inner souls in. In all I would say they are brilliant and I would definitely recommend them.

I have worn these for 6 months very durable and comfortable. Love the waterproofing in the snow. Would buy again

This my first pair of hiking shoes and I'm presently surprised in the amount of grip I get with this shoes. They are very light and comfortable.

I bought this a month ago. The shoelaces will take some time to get used to. Other than that love the cross hike boots.

I have been a 6x Speed Cross purchaser and wanted a "winter" pair to hike in the winter and just general wear. I had no idea how comfortable these would be! The grip is great, as expected. The warmth is wonderful without being too much. Even though I work mostly from home now, I have found myself wearing them all day long. The only negative is how long the cord is and it doesn't stay tucked away as well which has led me to tripping on it twice.

Light weight, good grippy sole, comfortable and easy to just wipe off mud with a cloth or sponge. Very pleased.

As soon as I put the boots on for a winters walk on a pebble beach it was like putting on a pair of gloves . I knew instantly that I would not have any problems with sore feet even with thin socks . Knackering walk with no ales or pains .

Probably the best hikers that I have owned. Fairly waterproof, light, and I never have to worry about them coming untied! Not for real cold weather - your feet will get cold if you walk in the snow for hours.

Very comfy straight out the box. Grip is fantastic and love the ankle support along with the quick laces. Find them slightly on the larger side of the salomon sizing. I take a UK 9.5 but a 9 would have also fitted well.

I bought it a couple a week ago and I really love it, it's so comfortable.

Great boot.. i have tested hard in the lake district on many weekends.. the boots keep my feet warm and dry and xomfort is amazing whilst also providing support .. great buy

Have had these for just over a month now, very low weight, comfortable and great. Haven't pushed them hard yet with a longer hike but for the day hikes I've taken them on they have performed perfect. The lace up design is quick and effective, traction is great and arch support is solid. If you're looking into these you'll love them.

Fantastic fit and grip. Had no problem with ankle support from lacing system. Just used on hikes in Mammoth. Highly recommend. I always make sure I have 1/2” to 1” size up especially for descent down mountains.

Fit and weight are great. I have been wearing a lot late summer and found that my feet would sweat and boots started to stink. I found forced air drying was the only way to counter the odor. It suggests that they do no "breathe" very well. They still remain my "go to" boot.
