In one shoe, the orthotic cut me right through my arch—most uncomfortable shoe I’ve ever warn.

I had high hopes for the overall cushioning of this shoe, but have been disappointed. Would not recommend if looking for good heel support.

After wearing Brooks Ghost 10,I thought I'd give these a try since they'd been recommended by a few folks I met. I walked for 3 miles in them and decided they weren't for me. The outside of my feet were killing me. I'll be returning these.

I have a pair of Clifton's I recently purchased and loved so when I went to buy the same one in a different color it fit very different and was more narrow so I sent them back. Disappointed but returns are super easy through Hoka. Will try another pair at some point.

I wanted to love this shoe. However after a month of running all of my joints started hurting. Even when I put my inserts in the pain continued to worsen. I've gone back to my Brooks and my body has healed. I loved these shoes and I wish they would have worked for me.

True to size, but much too narrow. I have a normal foot. I thought Hoka's were supposed to be wide so you toes can wiggle. But no. They were narrower than my Brooks in a medium width. Super cute and light weight but just too narrow. Also, the shoe slips on my heel.

Very comfy and cushioned soles, great fit. However, just after the 30 day guarantee, the lining of the toes tore, so I have to send them in to exchange. Disappointing, especially because I bought them specifically because they were on sale, now they are no longer available and I have to pay the difference for what is available. I expected they would last a lot longer given the price point.

I hate the the way the ankle back wings out, I prefer it to hug my ankle and I am peeved that the cute, stripy pull-on loop is missing from that part too. I do NOT like the wider fit at the vamp of the shoe. The sole is not anywhere near as springy nor comfortable as the 6 either. I am going to give them one more try - but if my knees hurt as bad as they did on my last run - I will be returning them.

I have worn Hoka One at my doctor and physical therapist's recommendation for nearly 3 years. These Clifton 7 were HUGE! They were way too long and overly wide. Trying to get them returned was a nightmare because the website kept telling me they had no record of my purchase and there was no invoice included in the shipment. Fortunately, a chat customer service representative was able to help me. Not sure I'll ever order online again. It was a hassle and sizing was way off.

The customer service/delivery were excellent, love the color. The first time I wore them to run and walk my feet were killing me, heel and arch felt horrible, toe box was fine. I assumed they just needed breaking in? My family and I just returned from a 2 week walking tour out of the country and I wore my Clifton 7's and my feet ached every.single.day. I am back in my old Brooks and my feet feel great, it's not my feet!!!

It's horrible Left foot is pretty comfortable but right side is too narrow. I feel like my foot is tighten up with string My husband strongly recommend this, he said very comfortable. But I don't. It's on my shoes rack, someday it will be in trash can.

They changed the shape on the back around the heel and it just does not feel as secure. The support in the mesh is not as strong either. Overall, not the same as the other pairs I have loved in the past.

I recently bought a pair of HoKA Clifton 7 shoes from a store in my town. I loved them so much that i wanted to purchase another pair exactly like them but in a different color so I bought the Clifton 7 from the HOKA website and they felt nothing like the ones i already have. They were very hard and uncomfortable and squeezed my heel so i returned the shoe. I am not sure how the same exact pair of shoes could feel so different.

My coworker bragged on these, how comfy they were and they didn't make his back hurt. Well I bought them and I'm not at all impressed, at the end of a 10 ht shift my feet and my back was hurting. I decided to give it a week and at the end of the week my feet were screaming at me, needless to say they are back in their box in my closet. If I could return them I would.....so sad, not worth the money. I did buy some sandals and they were indeed worth the money, really liked them.

This shoe was not comfortable at all. It seemed like there was no cushion to the shoes and no arch support. I love Hoka Hoka One but not this shoe.

They fit one size larger, not nearly as comfortable and supportive as Brooks! And certainly not as cute as Brooks! I returned!

The Clifton 7 runs extremely narrow. I tried a D and then an E. They did not work for me. I need more width. I am so disappointed because the sneaker feels comfortable at first.

Experienced pain with ball of left foot after only one use at work. Not sure why because previous Hokas are okay. Not sure what to do because this was on sale online and already discarded the box that came with it.

I love Cliftons and I use it for work as a nurse. Clifton 7 makes me feel like I am wearing mules because the collar is too shallow that it is way below my ankles so every step I take, I feel like my heel is coming out of the shoes. It feels like there's nothing holding the back of my foot! The outside of my toes hurts for some reason (maybe it's narrower in this model) which is ironic because I always buy my Cliftons in wide to prevent this. Something is totally off with Clifton 7. My lower back pain is a true test of how bad Clifton 7 is when working. I'll wait for next year for Clifton 9 since Clifton 8 seems to have the same collar as Clifton 7. So much for prioritizing easier entry. I'm so sad because now I have to look for another set of shoes that will work for me while on the floor.

Wanted so much to love these. I love the look. Running in them made my legs feel fatigued and they hurt the bottom of my feet. Everyone raves about Hokas so maybe it's just me. I ran a few times, wore them around but had to return. Thankfully Hoka was very good about returning them, even though worn a few miles.

I am not impressed. Feel flimsy and non-supportive of foot. Won't purchase this type again. I am a fan of Hoka's. Not these
