I am pretty disappointed. I love my Clifton 5 & 6 but these new versions are not similar. They seem to be more narrow and the new style pointed back bothers my achilles. I really wanted to like these and I am scrambling to figure out another shoe that will be as great as the old versions.

Clifton 7 shoe seems to be more narrow then the 5 as well constructed differently and the color selection leaves much to be desired. My feet would roll inward when striking ground with the 7s and my right arch would pull and start to hurt. The arch support from the 5s seems to be gone and both feet felt more flat in the 7s. The new feature of the attached tongue was pretty cool as it helped my foot to feel snug and supported while standing only as even walking with them, my feet rolled inward (not typical of my feet). Clifton 4 and 5 were the best shoes IMO (as I only started wearing them during the 4 series). I can't stand it when shoe makers constantly change their shoe....

I found them to be very uncomfortable and even though they are supposed to be wide width, they are still tight on my feet . The side of my left foot sits on the seam and within an hour causes my foot to really hurt. I work in a hospital and tried to wear them 3 different days to have my left foot in terrible pain within an hour.

Looks good but.. Bought my size and there was movement in my heel. I didn't think much about it but then started having pain in my heel.. pain that woke me up at night! To trying to figure out where the pin was coming from I then put my old shoes back on. No more heel pain! Can't wear these,

really bad design - i sent pictures in of the "New" shoe and the heel tearing away. NO RESPON SE

This is not a shoe that was comfortable, it even caused knee and foot pain. I did not feel it was supportive. Wish I had kept my receipt to return.

I really want to like these shoes. ALOT of my coworkers love this brand. My podiatrist recommended this brand, but unfortunately this specific shoe was not for my feet. I do have flat feet and I felt as if I had walked with a rock where my arch should be. My feet hurt for several days after wearing in the house for several hours. I do want to try a different type of Hoka shoe because I have heard such great things about it.

These weren't as cushiony as I thought they would be. For the money I expected more gel-like-cushiony comfort.

This was the third pair of Clifton 7s I've purchased. They felt nothing like my previous two pairs. Too firm, feet hurt after two miles.
